Story
Meet Nelson! This Collie mix is impossible to miss with his striking blue eyes and happy-go-lucky personality. After making the journey from a shelter in Kansas, Nelson is quickly learning that the good life is pretty great. Nelson is curious, playful, and always ready for his next adventure. He's a total rockstar on leash and loves getting out to explore and meet new people. Whether it's a neighborhood stroll, a mountain hike, or a trip to your favorite brewery patio, this boy is happy just being part of the fun. He's also doing great with potty training and is making progress with crate training. He sleeps in his crate overnight like a champ, though he'd definitely prefer to be wherever his people are. Super smart, goofy, and incredibly sweet, Nelson is the kind of puppy who will keep you laughing while stealing your heart at the same time. He's at the perfect age to continue learning, growing, and becoming your very best friend. All he needs now is a forever family ready to show him that life's greatest adventures are the ones shared together. Could Nelson be your new adventure buddy? ##2771090##

Sweet big girl looking for a loving home.Agatha is a doll. She is about 2 years old, spayed, vaccinated, chipped and heartworm negative!  She clearly didn't have the best home before but should look amazing by next year!  We got her with fleas, ticks, and so many sores but she already looks so much better.  She is good with dogs, loves people, good in the car and ready to go home!  If you want more info on Agatha, please text me, Lisa 720.339.4040.  Or to fill out an application please copy and paste the link to follow https://coloradoanimalwelfare.com/adoptions/adoption-application/#page-content  August 11, 2026, 10:26 am

&#226&#156&#168 Meet Erica — Your Ride-or-Die Adventure Girl! &#226&#156&#168 If you’re looking for a best friend, shadow, and lifelong sidekick, Erica is that girl. Erica is a 4.5-5 Month old with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She’s loyal, smart, and spunky, the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are — hiking trails, weekend adventures, or just following you from room to room like your built-in bestie.  Erica in a nutshell: A true ride-or-die companion Smart, eager, and excellent adventure material Great with dogs and people Best with older kids or kids who understand big-dog energy Already crate trained & dog-door trained (yes, already!) Would love a canine buddy to pal around with Important to know: Erica is not an apartment dog — she’s a bit of a talker when left alone and prefers a home where she has space, stimulation, and ideally another dog for company.March 9, 2026, 5:54 pm

Story
Angle is a 4.5 Year Old Great Dane/Smooth Coated Collie Mix. She loves playing with other dogs and ignores cats, unless they want to play. She loves her people and even though she loves playing with other dogs, she really wants her human all to herself. She is also laid back and enjoys a good cuddle and chill on the couch while catching up on some TV. Angle is crate trained, enjoys toys and completely untrustworthy on free roam with high interest items (this includes expensive items; we don’t know how she knows – but she does!) If you think you are Angle's forever home, please complete an adoption application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process .

Story
Meet Casey, a 2-yr old Australian cattle dog / Siberian husky / maybe golden retriever / supermutt. He's incredibly sweet, smart, & active (his tail never stops moving)! He can be very chill if it's a Netflix kind of night, but is always ready for adventure! (Need a hiking buddy?) His fur is soooo soft (there's lots of it)! He demands belly rubs & will flip on his back & wait for them as you walk by. He loves EVERYONE & is a very happy dog (his whole butt wiggles when he greets you)! He knows basic commands and is house trained but is eager to learn more advanced commands and tricks (he's very smart). He would be great at an agility course or scent work! He would love an active family with a yard & lots of love! We moved from a house with a large yard to a condo with no outdoor space and while he has adjusted very well, I know he would love more space with room to roam. He's great with kids and dogs but hasn't been around cats (although I'm sure he & kitty would be besties in no time!)

Story
Lola is such a great dog. She will be 5 on Valentine's Day. She has been to a board and train, so she knows sit, stay, place, here, down, heel, etc. She is a love bug. She loves to play, but she plays hard without hurting the other dog. She weighs 45 lbs. Once she gets to know a dog, she's great with them. Since she went to board and train, she is no longer reactive to other strange dogs on walks, or strange people. She comes with her e-collar, so she can keep learning. Crate trained, house trained completely. She will bark at cats, but you can teach her not to with the e-collar. She loves to chew on Nylabone broccolis. I recommend a home with big dogs or none. Since we moved to Centennial, she and one of my other dogs has been fighting. The other dog is a traumatized rescue that would not be a candidate for rehoming. Having to keep her on a leash at all times is killing Lola's spirit, but the other dog deserves a good life, too. I can't win without losing my heart.
