Story
My given name is Dolly Holly, but my foster family calls me Dior because I am bougie. I am an 8 year old collie mix and I weigh 55 pounds.   I am a high maintenance girl who likes things just so, I can be shy when you first meet me. I definitely prefer women to men, but will warm up once I know you. I LOVE walks and sitting outside or playing with a tennis ball, if I am in the mood I will fetch.     I love food, belly rubs, snuggling, and being brushed. I very much dislike nail trims and bathes. Yuck!    I am fine with other dogs if you introduce me properly, but ultimately, I love my person more than playing with dogs. If you are my person I will escort you everywhere. I am also fine with older kids, but I get nervous with babies and toddlers who move quickly.     I might try to sit on your lap despite being too big. Remember it's all about me!   Are you looking for that special someone to love and spoil? If so, I might be your girl!     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           May 3, 2024, 11:45 am

Story
A FUN, SWEET & ACTIVE FRIEND:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 27 lbs. and needs to gain some weight Hi, my name’s Kirby!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am so grateful for the love and good care I am receiving from the volunteers.  I heard that it’s time for me to find my furever home, and that makes me soooo happy!  I am currently in the prison/foster training program off-site waiting for you and learning a lot! Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to see when I’m able to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and loved them! I was doing spins, jumping, and playing my heart out with them.  I was also a bit vocal during play. If you have a nice doggie at home who might enjoy a playmate, let’s meet!  / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a happy, handsome guy with a fun and friendly nature.  Playful and sweet, I am eager to see people and show my excitement with lots of tail wags.  I’ve still got a good bit of young doggie in me, as I can be jumpy and a little mouthy when I play, but I’m working on that with my trainer.  I am sure to be a fun addition to a lucky family!  My energy level is 5 - 7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I’ve already mastered lots of great doggie commands with my trainer and look forward to being a graduate very soon. I know the ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘down’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’, ‘place’, and ‘stay’ commands and I also use proper door etiquette as well as walk nicely on a leash. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I had some accidents on the shelter schedule, but my potty habits have been good at the prison/foster training program.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like toys and look forward to lots of play sessions with you and other fun adventures! We can discover lots of things we like doing together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving home with great furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  May 2, 2024, 4:33 pm

Story
Cooper was originally found as a stray in a camping area. Sadly. many pets are constantly abandoned in this specific area.  His finder kept him as long as she could while everyone hoped that we would find his family and that he was just lost- and not dumped.  Months went by with no leads.  Cooper now had to come to the shelter to find a new home.  He’s a sweet guy who is a bit unsure in the noisy  kennel area, but in a home environment is a cuddle bug! He is dog friendly, and even spent some time playing with my personal dog!  Cooper loves people and being loved on. Previously lived with children 8+.   Cooper is 57 pounds and estimated to be 2 years old   May 3, 2024, 11:25 am

Story
Lily is a super sweet girl 40# girl with lots of energy.  She is good with other dogs and people and looking for her furever home.  Due to some minor resource guarding, no children under 16.  Lily enjoys chasing a ball and will return for you reliably.   She knows sit, down, heel, place and give paw.  A super smart girl that needs an active and patient home to continue her training, she will get you out and moving !  ##1907387##
