Miss P is a beautiful Border Collie/ Lab mix. She is a middle aged girl, and is ready for her forever family! She is very dog friendly, and has a rough and tumble play style. She has never met a dog that she doesn&#39t like! Miss P is very food motivated and takes treats gently. She&#39s crate trained, house trained, and knows her basic commands. Story
Ricky is a border collie that is very active and loyal dog. He’s approximately 4 years old and 75 lbs. He's going to need someplace where he gets a lot of activity and room to run. Ricky loves to go on hikes and long walks! Ricky would do best with a proper introduction with his new owners. He is currently in training working on his resource guarding and reactivity. Once he has completed training, he would be best in a household with no children or cats. He is up to date on all his shots and has been neutered. He is heartworm negative.

Story
Shayla is a sweet, resilient girl who recently came to Braveheart Bulliez Rescue after being saved from the urgent list at a local shelter. Through no fault of her own, Shayla lost her home when her former owner became unhoused. Her owner loved her deeply and wanted a better life for her, and that is exactly what we are hoping to give her. We are still getting to know Shayla, but so far she has been incredibly sweet, gentle, and easy to love. Her former owner shared that Shayla is very smart and served as her emotional support dog, which tells us just how special this girl is. She clearly has a soft heart and a lot of love to give. Shayla has also been nonreactive around other dogs so far, and we will continue learning more about her personality, play style, and ideal forever home as she settles in. What we do know is this: Shayla deserves stability, kindness, and a family who will give her the fresh start she has been waiting for. If you are looking for a sweet, soulful companion with a beautiful heart, Shayla may be your girl.

Story
Tate was born in September of 2016 under a shed in a rural area outside of Atlanta and boy am I lucky that a rescue group found me and my siblings and took us in. My Mom was a Border Collie mix and I am not sure about Dad but he was obviously one handsome dude. I am house and crate trained. I am very nervous in new situations and with new people. Once I feel comfortable though I am just a big goofball and my favorite thing to do is snuggle. I prefer to stay inside where I feel safe so I will need someone to be patient with me and give me time to get acclimated. I will do best in a home without small children or other pets and with a fenced yard.March 8, 2026, 12:40 am

Story
Shayla is a 3-year-old Boxer/Collie mix with the cutest black and white coat, a perfect 50-pound size, and an endearing little underbite that makes her even more lovable. This sweet girl came to us from Bartow Animal Control as a stray, and now she is ready to find the right person who will help her feel safe, loved, and understood. Shayla is affectionate, playful, bold, and full of personality. She loves belly rubs, will happily come lay on your feet for attention, and is always ready for a game of tug. She is very people-oriented in the home and loves being close to her humans. She is the kind of dog who wants to be part of what you’re doing and will make sure you know she is there. She is non-destructive in the home and does not currently need to be crated, though she does prefer having access to her people and can be uncomfortable behind barriers. She knows “sit” and is working on wait, stay, potty training, leash manners, and overall structure. Shayla is smart, eager, and will do best with someone who can provide consistency, patience, and clear guidance. Shayla has medium to high energy and would love an active home where she gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. She is still learning how to stay calm and focused outside, especially around other dogs and animals, so she will need an experienced adopter who understands leash reactivity and can continue helping her build confidence and better manners.

Story
🐾 Meet Lucy 🖤🐾 ✨ Fast Facts: 🐶 Name: Lucy 🎂 Age: 10/10/2025 ⚖️ Weight: ~20 lbs 🧬 Breed: Dachshund / Border Collie Mix 🚺 Gender: Female 📅 Intake Date: 04/08/2026 🏠 Rehoming Donation: $400 🐶 Personality Lucy is a tiny, wiggly ray of sunshine packed into a sleek little black coat. Sweet, playful, a little silly, and a whole lot lovable, this girl is full of love and life. She's gentle with everyone she meets and hands out kisses like it's her job. And then there's her signature move... the smile. 😁 Lucy shows her teeth when she's excited, and it is equal parts hilarious and adorable. It's not a warning. It's a full-on "OH MY GOSH HI I LOVE YOU" face, and once you see it, you'll never forget it. 🏡 Perfect Home Lucy would thrive with a family that loves outdoor adventures just as much as lazy couch days. She needs someone who will laugh at her goofy antics and guide her with patience as she continues to grow and learn. A home with a yard is a big plus! 🐕 Compatibility Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs Cats: Yes Kids: Unknown 🧠 Behavior & Training Notes Lucy is house trained and sleeps in her crate at night like a champ. She loves hikes through the woods, sniffing absolutely everything, and keeping a sharp eye out for squirrels. When she spots deer, she lets the whole neighborhood know with a good bark and howl. She also loves zooming around the yard chasing insects, because apparently no creature is too small for her attention. At the end of all that excitement, she's more than happy to curl up on the couch for a nap. The girl has range. 🩺 Health Lucy is missing her right eye, but it hasn't slowed her down for even a second. She plays, explores, and zooms around like any happy puppy, just with a little extra character. She is currently being vetted and will be fully up to date before going to her forever home. 📖 Lucy's Story Lucy came to us from Cherokee County alongside her sister Ethel. While parts of her story are unknown, one thing is crystal clear: this girl landed on her feet. At around 6 months old, she is still a puppy with so much growing and learning ahead of her, and she is ready for a home that will love her through every moment of it. 💌 Why You'll Love Lucy Because she will greet you with a wiggle and a grin every single day. Because she'll make you laugh on your worst days. Because she gives the best kisses. And because a tiny, one-eyed, smiling little soul who chases bugs and howls at deer is exactly the kind of magic most people spend a lifetime looking for. 👉 If you are interested in adopting, please fill out application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ACPR/Dog🐾

Story
Hi… I’m Dean. 🎾🤎 For the last 3 months, my whole world has been a boarding kennel. Every morning I wake up hoping today is the day someone finally comes for me… but every night I go back to sleep alone. The people here say I’m one of the happiest boys they’ve ever met. I LOVE toys. I’m completely obsessed with playing fetch (seriously… I could do it for HOURS 😂). Toss me a ball and I light right up. It’s my favorite thing in the world… besides maybe getting love from humans. I’m only around 1-2 years old, 45 lbs, dog friendly, people friendly, food motivated, super trainable, and the perfect smaller size. I’ve got so much life and joy in me, but it’s hard spending your young years watching life happen from behind kennel walls. I dream about simple things: A couch. A backyard. A toy basket with squeaky toys. A person who says “good morning, Dean.” A home where I finally belong. I’m fully vetted and currently on slow-kill treatment for heartworm, and the rescue will guide my adopter through everything. What I really need now is someone willing to give me a chance. Please don’t let me spend another month in boarding waiting for a family that never comes. 💔 Comment “DEAN” and we’ll send you more information about adopting or fostering me. Please share my post — maybe my person just hasn’t seen me yet. 🐾 Dean is presently being treated for heartworm and located in Douglasville
