Story
Dingo is a 14-year-old purebred Australian Cattle Dog my family adopted as a puppy. He was a working dog who became my dad’s constant companion, traveling with him around Georgia while my dad worked as an independent insurance adjuster. Dingo is well trained, knows all basic commands, and was very active in his younger years, though age and hip issues have slowed him down. He’s calm now, enjoys being outside, and likes to stay near people since he’s hard of hearing. After my siblings and I moved out, Dingo lived with my dad until we lost him to cancer last year. A family friend has been fostering Dingo since then, but they’ve recently received a cancer diagnosis themselves, making it difficult to continue his care. Because of this, I’m trying to find Dingo a loving home where he can receive the attention and comfort he deserves in his senior years.

Story
Meet Betty White — no, not that Betty White… but just as unforgettable 🤍 Betty White’s story began in a way no puppy ever deserves. On 11/14/2025, she was found abandoned in a cardboard box in a gas station parking lot—just 4 pounds of the fluffiest white fluff you’ve ever seen, only four weeks old, sick with worms and parvo, and left behind like she didn’t matter. But Betty White is a fighter. The first week was touch and go, but she pushed through. As she grew stronger, hope grew too. With the holidays approaching, we started sharing her story, and families quickly expressed interest. She was going to be someone’s Christmas miracle. Then the bomb dropped. Due to irresponsible breeding, Betty White is a deaf double merle. Instead of giving up on her, we leaned in harder. Today, Betty White is healthy, thriving, and weighs 14 pounds at approximately 11 weeks old. She’s already working on leash walking, crate training, and learning sign language—and she’s incredibly smart, affectionate, and eager to connect. Betty White doesn’t see herself as “special needs.” She sees herself as a puppy who wants to love, learn, and belong. She will need a home that understands her needs and can give her the time, patience, and hands-on guidance she deserves. A home where she isn’t crated for long workdays, where she can be safely supervised, enriched, and included. A home that sees her not for her limitations—but for her incredible potential. She is safe and happy where she is now, but we know she would truly thrive in a home where she can be someone’s priority. If you—or someone you know—has room in their heart and home to fall deeply in love with a very special girl, Betty White is waiting.

Story
Meet Odie! Odie is one of many dogs we have saved from rural Upson County lately. Being a very small, rural shelter the dogs are only held for a very short stray hold before they are at risk of euthanasia. Thankfully they have a very dedicated group of volunteers who work tirelessly to try to get the dogs to safety before their time runs out Odie is about a year and a half old and not even 35 lbs - what a great age and size! It's hard to know for sure what breed he is given that he was a stray but those tell tale spots could mean there is some heeler or maybe even bird dog in there. We prefer to think of him as 100% purebred Rescue Mutt - the best kid of dog there is! Odie is great with other dogs and has learned to really love his crate as well. He's a super social guy who was a big hit at one of our adoption events recently - stopping to greet all of the new people he came upon. This well rounded lovebug will make an amazing addition to one lucky family! Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Ginger! This sweet, loving girl is ready to find her forever home, and she can’t wait to share all her love with you. Ginger is a total pro when it comes to car rides—she loves to go on adventures and is calm and well-behaved in the car. She also walks beautifully on a leash, making her an ideal companion for strolls around the neighborhood. Ginger is a gentle soul who prefers the company of bigger dogs. They make her feel more secure and help her feel at ease. She can get a little overwhelmed with all the dogs in boarding, so what she really needs is a loving, quiet home where she can decompress and feel safe. Once she settles in, she’ll be your loyal, sweet companion who will shower you with affection. If you’re looking for a calm, loving girl who would thrive in a peaceful home with a bigger dog friend, Ginger is the one for you. She’ll be forever grateful for a family who understands her need for space and quiet while giving her the love and care she deserves. Could you be the one to give Ginger her happy ending?

Story
Meet Gatsby, Daisy’s devoted partner-in-crime and the other half of this irresistible bonded duo! 🎩🐕 Gatsby has a playful sparkle in his green-gold eyes and a personality as intriguing as his lineage. Is he part Australian Shepherd? Part Border Collie? A little of both—or something delightfully unexpected? Even his foster mom isn’t sure, and honestly, that mystery just adds to his charm. What is certain is that Gatsby is absolutely stunning. He has a beautiful feathered coat in a soft, silvery taupe coloring that shimmers in the light. His look is perfectly finished with a white throat and chest, dainty white markings on his toes, and the most adorable large oval feet—a classic nod to his herding breed ancestry. Speaking of herding instincts… Gatsby loves to gently and playfully nip at heels to guide his foster mom where he thinks she should go—because obviously, Gatsby knows best. 😉 It’s all done in good fun and with plenty of enthusiasm, making him endlessly entertaining and full of character. At just over 1-year-old, Gatsby is full of energetic joy. He is fun-loving, smart, and engaged, always tuned in to what’s happening around him. He especially loves sharing adventures with his best girl, Daisy. These two are truly inseparable—whether they’re running, playing, or relaxing side by side, they’re happiest together. As a bonded pair, Gatsby and Daisy are looking for a home that will welcome them both and celebrate their special connection. If you’re ready for double the love, double the beauty, and a dynamic duo that will keep life joyful and active, Gatsby (and Daisy!) are ready to steal your heart. 💛🐶🐺 Personality traits Affectionate, Curious, Friendly, Playful, Loves
