Raiden – Available 18 Month Old, 36 pound, neutered Shepherd/Shar Pei/Husky Mix Hi I’m Raiden. A 36 pound make Shepherd mix. I say mix cause my DNA report says I’m a little of a bunch. Yup best ways to say I’m a Supermutt, a Chicago Shepherd or a Heinz 57, you choose. I’m house trained and crate trained. So I can be apprehensive at first but I warm up quickly and turn into quite the snuggle bug. I also act like I’m not trained but I know sit and down. I come when called, but walking on a leash I could use some extra work on. I love dogs big and small. The more they play the more I play. When it's couch time I’m good with that too. Cats are pretty foreign to me. Foster mom thinks I might be a bit too much for a feline friend. I met kids and I like them. Again they have to let me warm up to them. Raiden’s adoption fee is $425. Complete & submit your application, which will serve as the basis for a conversation, & you will be contacted. Raiden’s adopter must live in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.***

Story
Bonnie is a beautiful collie mix who is about 2 years old. She had 7 puppies at our shelter and is now looking for her own perfect home! She is a sweetheart, who loves to carefully jump up on you for hugs and attention. She is incredibly smart and agile and would love a home to keep her active and enriched! She does take longer to get used to some men so a slow and patient home is needed. She is dog friendly and kid friendly. Once she bonds to people she does have the tendency to resource guard them so we are looking for a home with previous experience dealing with any potential guarding issues. Due to resource guarding we are marking her for households with children over 12 yrs of age. She will need to have more time getting used to cats but seems to enjoy other dogs at the shelter.

Meet Coco- a dashing 4-year-old Collie/Shepherd/Terrier type mix who came to us after being surrendered to another shelter. He weighs in around 35lbs, though is a bit skinny, so will likely even out around 38lbs. He is a playful and fun guy, who enjoys walks and running around outside. He's an active dog and doesn't mind wading in his kiddie pool! Coco is a bit selective with his dog friends and has done best with submissive females. Coco walks well on a harness and is very curious about exploring his surroundings. He can be nervous meeting new people and will need slow introductions. He has been moved around quite a bit recently, so we would love to get him back in a home!
