Bonnie is a beautiful mixed breed/collie who is about 2.5 years old and around 45lbs. She had 7 puppies at our shelter and is now looking for her own perfect home! She is a sweetheart, who loves to jump up on you for hugs and attention. She is incredibly smart and agile and would love a home to keep her active and enriched! She is dog friendly and kid friendly. Once she bonds to people she does have the tendency to guard/protect them, so we are looking for a home with previous experience dealing with any potential guarding issues. Due to the guarding/protective behavior we are marking her for households with children over 12 yrs of age. She seems to enjoy other dogs at the shelter, but due to her small animal prey drive, will need a home without cats or small pets.

This mellow, house-trained senior girl loves staying close to her people and would thrive in a quiet home that can support her slower pace and mobility needs. Kirby is a 11-year-old Rough Collie whose sweetness and easygoing nature shine through in everything she does. She’s fully house trained, rarely vocal, and content with a simple routine that includes short, regular walks and plenty of couch time. Kirby prefers to stay near her adults, soaking up gentle affection and companionship rather than high-energy play. She’s learning to loosen up and play a bit from her foster siblings, but her favorite role is quiet, loyal shadow. Due to significant muscle loss in her rear legs, Kirby has difficulty with stairs and getting up, so she needs a home that can accommodate her mobility challenges. She’s doing better with supportive care and supplements, but still benefits from a safe, stable environment where she can move at her own pace. A fenced yard is always desirable but she doesn’t require it as long as she gets age-appropriate exercise. Kirby moves carefully around seniors and would be an ideal match for a calm, patient household ready to offer her comfort, consistency, and love in her golden years.

BUT what if we told you Sylvia is more collie than she looks, cleverly disguised in a cuddly, 35-pound, perfectly portable, low-coat-maintenance package! With many of the classic Collie qualities that Smooth Collie lovers know to love and adore. Listen how her foster home describes her: people-oriented, thoughtful, exceptionally intelligent-just like both Smooth and Rough Collies - eager to please, sensitive, devoted… Sounds familiar, right? Stay with me. Sylvia has the soft, affectionate disposition that collie fans crave. She knows how to settle and chill, she chooses to rest on foster dad's foot instead of a doggie bed, whenever possible. She loves to cuddle but is always ready for fun, outdoor adventures, easy-peasy rides in the car. But most of all she enjoys simply being included in everyday life with her family. Now, she IS still a young dog - under a year old - with a playful curiosity and joyful energy of a puppy, balanced by an impressive ability to settle and connect with her people. Bo Peep and Woody were found as strays together, very scared. It took a few days for them to realize we’re all ok here, but they always looked to each other for comfort. We’re hoping these 2 can stay together in their forever home. They are both very sweet and adorable! We don’t recommend small kids in their new home since they came in so scared.

Flynn is a 1-year-old mix of some of the smartest, most loyal working breeds out there—Australian Cattle Dog, Husky, English Shepherd, Australian Shepherd, and Border Collie—which basically means he’s equal parts brilliant, active, and deeply devoted 🤍 He came to us as a stray back in September with his brother, who has since been adopted. Flynn likes to take a moment to assess new people or situations before deciding he’s all in—and once he is… he really is. He forms strong bonds with his people and naturally wants to look out for them and his home, making him a loyal companion who just needs a little help continuing to build confidence in the world around him. Flynn is house trained, highly dog-friendly, and absolutely thrives when he has space to run—he loves being out in the yard and staying active. Because of his breed mix, he’ll do best in a home that understands working dogs and can provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. He would benefit from continued confidence-building and positive training to help him feel his best in new situations, but he’s already a smart, capable dog who wants to learn and connect. We don't feel that he would do best with young children as he's still learning himself. Flynn may not be the type to immediately demand attention from everyone he meets, but give him a little time and consistency, and you’ll discover a loyal, intelligent, and loving dog who will be right by your side every step of the way 💛

Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. Found as a stray with his sisters, Sammy is an outgoing, happy and playful pup. He gets along with other dogs and strangers. He has gone on a few overnight stays and has done really well. He is learning to walk on a leash and does well in a car. He is ready for his new home.
