Lucy would best be in a home with the same calm-type family. She would be ok with children as long as they are calm like her and gentle! This sweet girl may appear timid, but don’t let that stop you from taking a closer look! Teegan is a beautifully marked smooth, Tri-color Collie. Although Teegan came from a bad situation, that has not stopped her from starting to blossom into a sweet companion. She didn’t have a lot of human interaction before coming to us, so she is getting to know that people are good and dog beds are quite nice! Teegan has learned a lot under the love and care of her foster family. She is crate trained, house trained, good with other dogs and is learning to walk well on a leash but will still need some more guidance and patience. She likes to relax indoors but playing outside and enjoying the sunshine is her favorite! She has such a sweet personality; however, she isn’t fond of loud noises and new activities so a calm environment would be best for her. Teegan will also need another dog as companion to help her heal from her past, as well as very secure fencing. If you are looking for a smoothie girl, you just found her! Domino is a very handsome Tri color collie who is very much a people Collie. His coat is a very deep black coat that is shiny with a hint of brown that just shines. He knows his name so well he comes when called with a jubilant stride to come see you. Domino walks quite well on a leash, but can be a bit weary of his surroundings in busier areas. He has been responding well to training by using encouraging treats, which his foster parents are working on. When he comes home from his walks, he will find his spot and settle in for the evening. Domino does well with other dogs, cats, chickens and children, although he can be a bit much for young children with his bounciness when it comes to playtime. With his energy level we would like to place him in a home that is active and maybe likes to go on adventures. He does ride well in a car. Could you be the home that he has been looking for? Rickie has arrived to us from very humble beginnings living with humans who did not quite understand how to care for him properly. Until now, he never received any direction in life. Thank goodness we found him and can now give him the training that he not only needs but desperately craves. Rickie is super smart and very willing to please. He has been assessed by a professional trainer who has given his foster family clear guidance and his progress in a short time is incredible. He now knows commands of sit, down stay, giving paw and will retrieve his favorite toy from the toy box and return it to his foster pawrents. We do not feel that living with kids would be in his best interest at this time. He would also be best as an only dog or paired with an older dog that will help guide him to continue his work on becoming a good Collie citizen. Based on his intensive evaluation and his high energy, Rickie would do best with an experienced owner that is dedicated to continuing his obedience training. Rickie loves taking long walks/hikes and we feel he would be an excellent candidate for agility or rally events. Rickie loves everyone he meets and is just waiting for that special adopter to call all his own. Rickie is being fostered in Michigan.
