Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This beautiful girl is equal parts chaos, cuddles, and pure personality. She loves zoomies, wrestling with doggy friends, investigating everything, and curling up for serious snuggles. She would thrive with an active family or a home with another playful, confident dog to keep her company and help show her the ropes. A fenced-in yard would be ideal for running and playing, followed by cuddles in a big, cozy bed. She is crate trained, though she can be hesitant to go in during the day. At bedtime, she settles in more easily. Patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement will help her build confidence with her daytime crate routine. Kooky, beautiful, affectionate, and playful, she has the kind of personality that makes you fall in love instantly. If you’re looking for a dog who is a little wild, wonderfully cuddly, and completely unforgettable, she may be your perfect match!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 16, 2026, 11:04 pm

Story
We recently moved to Weatherford to be closer to our grandbabies, and with our jobs requiring frequent travel, we’re no longer able to give Jersey the time and attention he deserves. He’s a loyal, loving 10-year-old German Shepherd/Collie who thrives when he has space to run and play. Jersey isn’t used to small children, and he can be hesitant around strangers-sometimes barking when he feels unsure. He does best in a calm, patient home with plenty of room and adults who understand his personality. He’s a wonderful dog who just needs the right environment to feel safe and happy. If you or someone you know might be a good fit for him, please reach out as soon as possible. Please contact Melanie Latimer at (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Meet 🌟SPAZ🌟 He's such a happy, well-rounded and mannered guy. He can shift from couch potato to adventure buddy as needed. He really just wants to be around his people as much as possible. He does live up to his name when he's having fun; trips over his own feet and bonks his head on tables and walls. He loves to throw toys for himself and flops around. He's a character! Spaz: 🔸️Listed as a ~4 year old, 44lb border collie mix from his shelter stats 🔸️Loves people, but can be a little intimidated by loud voices and environments 🔸️Great with dogs 🔸️Absolute rockstar with cats (even those that don't like him! He does not react) 🔸️Stellar with children of any age. He doesn't have a reactive or aggressive bone in his body. If he's uncomfortable he will simply tuck into himself or walk away. 🔸️perfectly house trained 🔸️walks well on a leash and loves going on walks 🔸️he does cry when he's in a kennel, but otherwise generally silent when out-and-about. He does bark to notify us of visitors but stops upon request. 🔸️LOVES toys and to play fetch 🔸️travels perfectly in cars 🔸️tolerates being brushed and washed 🔸️wants to be your shadow Spaz is an all-around rockstar of a dog and would thrive in nearly any environment once he's given the time to acclimate and feel confident.
