Apply on our website ( https://www.healingheartsrescue.org/adopt )  to  set up a private meeting or check below for my adoption event schedule.     Age: About 7.5-8 years old Weight: 21 pounds Dog friendly: YES, REQUIRED IN HER HOME Cat friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes, but prefers a quite home Potty trained: Yes, on a schedule  Crate trained: Yes   Oh boy just look at this pretty girl!! Little Miss Joni is ready to shower you in love and affection with her corgi big smile in tow. She's a very happy, wiggly, and smart little girl whose life wasn't always sunshine and rainbows.  She was rescued from a breeder who kept her in an outside pen and sadly when she was young her signature corgi ears were burned by the heat lamp. They are all healed now and Joni doesn't give two cares about it and hopes you can see past it as well!   &#226&#128&#139Joni is very well mannered, affectionate, gentle and sweet. She's happiest lounging quietly in the house but has just the right amount of energy to keep up on long walks, camping and hiking.  She's excelled and basic obedience and knows how to sit, down, stay, come, walk nicely on leash and has an excellent recall.   Joni great with other dogs, cats and livestock. She actually will require another dog in her home and prefers her dog sibling to have a relaxed energy (no young, high energy or pushy dogs for her life  partner). She is good with all people but really doesn't love a lot of fast moving action so young kids are not her jam. She'd thrive in a quite home with another dog friend or two and people who love her.   Joni does have some anxiety that is mostly triggered by thunderstorms but also fireworks, power tools and loud children. She will pace and pant and sometimes have potty accidents when she's scared.  She loves her safe spot (kennel) during these scary times.  This pretty girl can’t wait to meet you and love you endlessly    Adoption Fee: $495  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.INTERESTED IN MEETING ME? My name is Mocha (mochers, mochee, mochster) and I'm the cutest little corgi in town! I was born 4/13/24 and love to play!   I'm energetic but in a short legged kind of way :) I don't get anywhere too fast and am unable to jump on the couch! I can go up the stairs but am way too afraid to go down the stairs! I love children, other dogs but have yet to meet a cat although I know I would love them too!    I sleep in my kennel at night and am still working on potty training! :) I would do best with a family that loves to play with me and give me lots of love and attention! I'm excited to find my furever home!!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
My name is Squints and I’m a Corgi puppy born 4/13/24. I am adorable! My foster mom and dad think my ears are funny and cute. I am a smart, energetic and active puppy that would love an active and energetic family to call my own. My breed is considered very smart so get ready. I will cuddle with you but I need to be tired and ready to cuddle or I will just try to walk on your end tables. Yes, I’m that small. I love to play with my brother and all the resident dogs. Some think I am a bit much but my foster mom says that is because they are old lol. I am still learning. I am excited to find my forever and home so maybe you will be it!    Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Hello, I am here to introduce our handsome little foster pup, Benny. He is a Corgi born 4/13/24. He is all things Corgi. This breed is very smart, curious, playful, adventurous and needs to be exercised and challenged. He loves to play and will cuddle when he’s ready. He is working at potty training, likes to herd us and our dogs and loves to play with his brother. He is not kennel trained. When he goes into our 8’ x 6’ running kennel in the garage at night, he will let you know that he is not a fan. If you have the time, energy and love this breed, he would make an amazing addition to your family!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
My dog Rio, 13 years old, was adopted by me roughly 10 years ago. In that time, he has been the most loving and loyal friend I could ask for. But due to my allergies, I need to rehome him. For someone considering adoption, please note that Rio is very protective. He is a one person dog and always will be. His new owner should expect to keep him isolated the majority of the time, and be prepared to take precautions when visiting the vet or groomer. If you are interested in my dog, I would gladly cover everything you will need to know including his history. I’m hoping to find someone that will love him just as much as I have, because he really is a good boy, he just is misunderstood.
