Meet Bluey! 💙 Bluey is a handsome 31-pound, 1-year-old Blue Heeler/Corgi mix looking for an active family who will keep up with his playful personality and help him continue learning. Bluey is a very active, energetic boy who loves life and is always ready for the next adventure! He is already housetrained and kennel trained, and he has been neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, and is current on heartworm prevention. His previous family describes him as a good boy who simply needs some additional training to help him learn how to settle and manage his excitement. With his Heeler/Corgi heritage, Blue is an intelligent, energetic boy who will thrive with someone willing to provide plenty of exercise, structure, mental stimulation, and consistent training. Bluey does well with the 7-year-old child in his foster home. Because of his energy level and need for continued training, we believe he would do best as the only dog in the home, where he can be the center of attention and get all the activity and guidance he needs. Welcome Foxy Lady to CCPAL Rescue. She is a Corgi/Cairn is our best estimate on her breed. She is 15 months old. She has a longer coat and weight about 25 pounds. She should be full grown and if anything may fill out some. She will be a small dog full grown. She is good with other dogs, good in a crate and getting used to Rescue life. She has an adorable underbite and her teeth are in great shape. We think her best home would be with someone who has had a Corgi and has the time to finish her training. I would say moderate to active family is best. She could be with kids. We think 8 or older is best. She likes the women at the shelter and warms up more slowly to new people. She readily accepts women. She will be worked with on her leash manners and she has ridden in the car without problems. Her best home would be a more quiet one that she can get more one on one attention. She would be great for an older couple, or single person that wants a nice companion. She doesn’t seem to be the social butterfly but very content with being home. If you think this sounds like a good fit for you, put in an application. She is a wonderful dog and a head turner for sure. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Benji also gets really excited when you pull his harness out - He loves going on walks, although his little legs don't make it very far - he's happy with a nice stroll around the block. I’m Tinker. I may look like a big dog in photos, but surprise!! I’m only 16 pounds of pure personality. What I lack in size, I make up for in energy, confidence, and zoomies. I’m basically a large dog trapped in a fun-sized body. I like to be in on all the fun. Lately I've been exploring local pubs & parks. I'm told I have good table & leash manners. I'd LOVE a running partner or someone who is active. I’m a one-year-old who’s still polishing my manners (think: puppy brain in a slightly bigger body). Except I walk well on leash. Impressive, I know! I need another confident dog in the home and honestly, I prefer friends bigger than me. A female would be fantastic! Big dogs? Yes please. I also require a secure fence because I’m quick, curious, and not afraid to test the perimeter. I would benefit greatly with an experienced handler & obedience classes. I’m potty trained, learning commands, and my favorite hobby is tossing my stuffies in the air, catching them and racing off like I just won a championship. If you’re looking for a small dog with big-dog energy, a little sass, and a whole lot of love… I’m your guy. 💙🐾 Adoption fee: $595
