Story
Hi, I’m Brownie  I’m about 1 year old, and people say I might be a terrier/Corgi mix (I just say I’m 100% adorable). I have this really pretty ombré coat—mostly brown with a silvery undertone—and the softest brown-gold eyes you’ve ever seen. Yes, I know… I’m hard to resist. If I'm on a schedule I'm potty trained.  My Foster family is still learning what my ques are & they're also trying my skills at ringing a bell.  I already know how to “sit” and “leave it,” and I’m working hard on learning more—especially kennel training. I do best in my kennel when I can see my people or when I’m near other dogs. I like to feel included, you know? One of my FAVORITE games is hide-and-seek with treats. If you hide them, I will find them. I’m basically a tiny detective. Okay, full honesty time: I’m a bit of an athlete… I can jump baby gates (impressive, right?), so I’ll need a double gate if you want to keep me in one room. I’m also what they call an “escape artist,” which just means I’m very curious about the world. Because of that, I need to always be on a leash outside—and even in the car if I’m not kenneled, because I might try to make a surprise exit. I walk nicely on a leash, but loud, unfamiliar noises can make me nervous. I just need a little reassurance that everything’s okay. I love love LOVE my humans. Cuddles are my absolute favorite, and I just want to be close and make you happy. I do have a tiny habit of “borrowing” things like socks, shoes, undergarments, and kids’ toys… but I promise it’s because they smell like you, and I love you already. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, slightly mischievous cuddle bug who will keep you smiling, I might just be your girl  Love, Brownie Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 13, 2026, 9:08 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Thank you for stopping by to see me!  Please fill out an application to set up  a private meeting.       Hello! My name is Fergus. I can’t wait to go to my furever home! I adapt very quickly and smoothly to new surroundings. I am still shy around new humans, but I like dogs a lot and I’m more confident around them. Outside the home I’m not so confident and sometimes I get a little bit scared! My biggest fears are loud noises, overwhelming commotion, and new sights. My favorite treats are chew treats, carrot sticks, and apple bits. I don’t like toys, but I may be more interested in them in the future. I’m fully crate trained and I’m very close to being fully potty trained. My furever home needs another similar sized dog living there so that I can have a fur friend to play with and become more comfortable with new humans more quickly! My furever home also needs a fenced yard. I like the fenced yard I have at my foster home to much not to have one at my furever home! I walk outside on a leash daily, but I usually get scared and pull the human walking me. I only bark when I’m alarmed and I don’t have experience with fluffy cats, so I bet that they are scary to. I am a super cute and super sweet corgi who gives every nice human so much love! I can’t wait to continue to grow into an amazing little fluffy companion who will happily stay by your side in our furever home. Sincerely, Fergus. Some of our dogs are obtained from commercial breeders where they spent their lives getting comfort from their canine friends. Others have come from various situations where they are lacking confidence in humans. In turn, most require another companion dog in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. If you are interested in a particular dog, and do not currently have a dog residing with you, please understand that your home might not be the right fit for many of our dogs.   ***Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes our emails end up there***Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.If you have other questions about me you can email Underdog Rescue at <inquiries@underdogrescuemn.com> ADOPTION EVENTS:      Adoption events are updated at the top of each dogs animals' as their foster home signs up. Check back for updates on which events they will be attending. If an event is not listed within their bio above, the animal is not planning to attend.  Please understand that all of our pets are in volunteer foster homes and sometimes "life" happens and the foster family cannot make it to their scheduled adoption event. If you are traveling from a far distance to meet a specific animal, please understand we cannot guarantee event attendance. We recommend filling out an application and we will set up a private appointment. Private appointments are only scheduled after an application is submitted and approved. ADOPTION PROCEDURE: The first step in our process is to complete an online adoption application on our website: http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/adoptionprocess/   Note: In most circumstances Underdog Rescue will only adopt within 60 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  All of our foster animals can be seen by appointment with an approved adoption application. Contact us at http://www.underdogrescuemn.com/contact-us/ if you have further questions. FOSTER CARE: All of our animals are fostered in individual homes or doggie daycare facilities. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home. Each animal's behavior is evaluated and we have a sense of its temperament and personality, but it cannot be guaranteed. We look for adopters who will give each animal the wonderful life and permanent home that he or she deserves in time and with patience.  If you have an interest and ability to be a foster home, please visit our website  www.underdogrescuemn.com/foster-applications  and fill out a foster application. NUTRITION: Nutrition is vital to the rehabilitation and life-long health of our pets.  All of our foster animals are fed a premium diet such as NutriSource, Canidae, Orijen, Nature's Variety, Fromm, Pure Vita, Stella and Chewy's, Primal, or balanced raw diet.  All adopters are required to continue providing premium diets for the life of the animal. Age: 1 year Weight: 27 pounds Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Yes, respectful older children please Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes. Also does well loose in the home. ***Requires a Companion Dog*** Cricket is an amazing 1-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Border Collie mix with a heart as beautiful as her smile. She has been through a lot in her young life, yet she remains incredibly trusting, gentle, and loving. Cricket is a true cuddle bug who loves being close to her people and is happiest when she can share affection with those she loves. Despite her young age, Cricket is well-mannered and eager to please. She is house-trained, potty-trained, leash-trained, knows several commands, and listens exceptionally well. She is patient, adaptable, and enjoys car rides, making her a wonderful companion for everyday adventures. Cricket gets along very well with other dogs and will need a canine sibling in her new home. Having another dog around helps her thrive and gives her the companionship she enjoys. If she needs to spend time in a crate, a fun treat or chew will keep her content and occupied. One of Cricket's many strengths is her versatility. She could be very happy in an apartment or a house, as long as she has love, companionship, and opportunities for exercise. She does well with older, considerate children and would also make an excellent companion for seniors looking for a loyal, affectionate friend. The only thing Cricket is still working on is remembering not to jump up when she gets excited to greet people. Other than that, she is a truly special little dog with so much love to give. Cricket is a beautiful soul who is simply looking for a family to call her own. Whoever adopts her will be rewarded with endless affection, unwavering loyalty, and that adorable smile every single day. 🐾❤️ Adoption fee: $595

Age: 1 Year Old Weight: 16 lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home Cat friendly: TBD Kid friendly: Yes, older considerate kids Potty trained: Good on a schedule Crate trained: Does well in crate **REQUIRED**: Physical Fence & Companion Dog within the Home Hi! I’m Tinker. I may look like a big dog in photos, but surprise!! I’m only 16 pounds of pure personality. What I lack in size, I make up for in energy, confidence, and zoomies. I’m basically a large dog trapped in a fun-sized body. I like to be in on all the fun. Lately I've been exploring local pubs & parks. I'm told I have good table & leash manners. I'd LOVE a running partner or someone who is active. I’m a one-year-old who’s still polishing my manners (think: puppy brain in a slightly bigger body). Except I walk well on leash. Impressive, I know! I need another confident dog in the home and honestly, I prefer friends bigger than me. A female would be fantastic! Big dogs? Yes please. I also require a secure fence because I’m quick, curious, and not afraid to test the perimeter. I would benefit greatly with an experienced handler & obedience classes. I’m potty trained, learning commands, and my favorite hobby is tossing my stuffies in the air, catching them and racing off like I just won a championship. If you’re looking for a small dog with big-dog energy, a little sass, and a whole lot of love… I’m your guy. 💙🐾 Adoption fee: $595
