Story
Meet Jake! Jake is a sweet older guy with lots of love to give! He was abandoned on a doorstep in a dirty crate, and taken to a local shelter before being transferred to Gray Muzzle Society. Jake does well with cats and dogs, but is leash reactive so would be better suited to a house with a yard. Jake does well with a doggy door, but needs patience with house training when he first adjusts to new places. We performed a dental, and are working on helping Jake lose weight, but he's otherwise an active, healthy older dog!

Story
Gibbs - MN Dachshund x 3.5 yrs est. birthday 10/28/2020 and he is a whopping 9.8 lbs.   Can you believe we saw Gibbs at a shelter and no one wanted this adorable little shortie? Gibbs is a doxie/chi mix and those ears are to die for!  I just want to pet him and snuggle him.  Since he has the doxie in him and a long doxie back, older children over 10 are going to be the best fit as he can be injured easily.  Gibbs will need a safe yard (they can get out easily) and door safety rules (if you have kids). He would like a friend to play with as he is playful!  Put in an application today at eapl.com.  His adoption fee is $375 May 11, 2024, 9:03 pm

Story
Meet Squeaker (she squeaks like a doggie toy lol) and amazing young lady who's ready for her forever home.  She LOVES playing with the other dogs in her foster home big and small,  and is doing great with the cats as well.  She's a Doxy mix maybe with some Labby/Shep??  She is a little shy with people at first but has come out of her shell quickly with her foster parents and is now seeking lap cuddles and being with them. She will do best in a home with other doggies and humans that are willing to take some time to remind her that humans can be really awesome!!!  Put in an application at EAPL.COM.  Her  adoption fee is $375 May 11, 2024, 9:03 pm

Story
Beanie is a sweet, spunky, cuddle bug! She is approximately 6 months old. She is shy at first but warms up quickly, she is kennel training, potty training, gets along with other dogs but it doesn’t take her a minute to warm up to them. She is an incredible snuggle bug, she will snuggle up in your arms and sleep, play or watch tv. She can be a little mouthy while playing or getting your attention so her family could have children but they should be older and understanding. Her ideal family is loving, snuggly, and outgoing and wants a loving lap dog. Put in an application at eapl.com Her adoption fee is $375 May 11, 2024, 9:03 pm

Story
Cooper is a very sweet 5 year old. He wants all your attention and will love sitting in your lap all day. He is okay with other dogs after he gets used to them. He is wonderful with children and cats. Unfortunately, he doesn’t play with toys or our other dog. He pees when he is excited or scared. He constantly competes for attention and barks at every thing. He gets separation anxiety. We adopted him from a previous owner at 4 years old and we haven’t been able to get him where we would love to keep forever. We are expecting another baby and we dont have the time or much patience left to work with him. He may be happiest with a person who will give him all their attention while being the only dog in the home. If someone is familiar with his breed type (we were told dachshund and Corgi mix) and training dogs would be ideal for Cooper. I want to make sure he is safe, loved and in a better suited environment so he can flourish.

Story
Evie is a very sweet dog recently rescued from a Colorado breeder. She is five years old and has a shy and quiet disposition. She is doing exceptionally well in her house training and will ask you quietly to be let outside so please be willing to pay attention to learn her cues. She is crate trained but prefers to snuggle with you in bed at night and hang out with you during the day. She would prefer someone who is home throughout the day or who is willing to take her along on errands. She loves other dogs and especially enjoys the outdoors and meeting new friends along the way. She would love to have a family who is patient and kind so she can feel both safe and secure in her environment. Her new home must have a secure fenced in backyard OR someone in the home willing to take her for multiple 30 minute plus walks per day as she seems to really shine outdoors. We are looking for the perfect fit for little Miss Evie and not just any home. Adoption fee negotiable to right family.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Cute little low rider, nice medium size, and a great age, too! Deku's previous family shared with us his love of dissecting plush toys, and lounging in the fun. Deku has lived successfully with several other dogs and may enjoy doing so again.Deku wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's expressive when he's frustrated, anxious when out of his routine, and he tells you when his needs aren't being met. Deku's ideal family will be one that enjoys the processing of getting to know their new dog, delighting in finding favorite toys or activities, and unphased by the need to tweak a plan or change a routine when encountering an unexpected road bump.Because the playful and chaotic way young children live their lives has been agitating for Deku previously, he is now available to families without children, or those over the age of 10. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: White Weight: 41 Age: 5yrs 0mths 3wks
