Story
This dog is a courtesy listing and not one of our dogs. Please contact the email listed in this post. For more information about Willow Ray, please contact: Kassi McCreary at 720-498-4335 Meet Willow Ray! Willow is a very sweet and loving girl. She is 2 years old, spayed, kennel and potty trained, knows her basic commands. Would do best in a home with no other dogs (has never been around cats) and no children (at least younger than 13 years old). She is a little nervous with new people but once she warms up she will be on your lap giving you kisses. She loves to snuggle and sleep under the blankets. Not food aggressive, very gentle when taking treats, grazes throughout the day. She loves to play with toys and go for walks, would love a very active new parent. She will give you the goofiest howl greeting when you come home or when she is waking up. She truly is a sweet girl and has so much potential she just needs an environment that is more conducive to her needs so she can thrive!  August 19, 2026, 3:53 pm

Story
Meet Dakota! Dakota is a gorgeous tricolor puppy born safely in rescue on May 21, 2026, to our beloved Mama Desi. According to her brother’s DNA results, she is a spectacular mixture of 19 different breeds and appears to have inherited the very best ingredients from all of them. This 12.75-pound girl is affectionate, intelligent, playful, gentle, and wonderfully observant. While her siblings bounce at the front of the pen, Dakota often hangs back to watch her foster mom before quietly placing one paw on her leg for attention. It is subtle, devastatingly effective, and the reason Dakota frequently ends up exactly where she wanted to be: in someone’s lap. Dakota loves tug-of-war, running, jumping, burrowing under blankets and furniture, exploring puzzle treats, and following her people while they work in the yard. She is often the first puppy to try something new and has already established herself as a clever, confident little leader. She currently uses potty pads consistently and also goes potty outside, frequently beating all five siblings to the important business at hand. Dakota is learning “Outside,” “Potty,” “Crate,” “Good Girl,” “Come,” and “Let’s Eat,” with particularly good responses to “Come” and “Let’s Eat.” Dakota has been gentle with children ages 3, 8, 10, and 15. She does well with small dogs, older dogs, male dogs, and female dogs. Cats are unknown. A large, very playful dog initially startled her, so she may need gradual introductions to bigger canine friends. When Dakota is not playing, cuddling, or supervising household projects, she enjoys chewing ice cubes while sitting directly in the ice-water bowl. We cannot explain her methods. We can only respect her commitment. Dakota could thrive with other friendly dogs or as an only dog. She is adaptable, affectionate, intelligent, and ready for a family who will continue her training, socialization, and enrichment while loving her for the extraordinary little dog she already is. IMPORTANT ADOPTION INSTRUCTIONS To learn more about Dakota or apply to adopt her, you must visit: www.pawsitiverestorations.com Applications submitted anywhere other than the official Pawsitive Restorations website may not reach our team. Story
Kojo is a sweet 6-year-old, 12-pound dachshund looking for his forever home. After his person became ill and could no longer care for him, Kojo’s world changed suddenly. He’s now safe in foster care and ready for his next chapter. Kojo is fully vetted and recently had 12 teeth removed—but his appetite hasn’t missed a beat! A little warm water in his kibble does the trick. Kojo is affectionate and loves being close to his people (especially snuggling in bed!), but he’ll need a patient, consistent home to help him continue building confidence. He can be shy and barky around unfamiliar people, dogs and sounds, and he’s still working on potty training. A predictable routine and belly band help him succeed. He can be crated for short periods and has been left alone for about 3 hours. Kojo can also be a little escape artist, so extra care around open doors is important! Most of all, Kojo needs someone who understands that he’s been through a lot of change and is willing to give him the time and security he needs to settle in. August 17, 2026, 7:49 pm

Story
Mila girl is on the hunt for her forever home! Mila is an adorable 11-month-old, 12-pound girl who is sweet, playful, affectionate and loves her people. She adores her foster family, does well with the kids and dog in her home, and LOVES playing in the grass.  Mila is also a sensitive girl who can be nervous around new people and dogs and when left alone. When she feels overwhelmed, she may bark or react, so she needs a patient family willing to help her continue building confidence. She doesn’t need someone who can devote hours a day to training—she needs consistency, patience and a willingness to work her training into everyday life. Slow introductions, predictable routines and positive reinforcement will go a long way.  Mila would love: • A patient, predictable home • Kids 8+ • A calm, non-reactive dog or life as your one-and-only • A yard for her beloved grass! • Someone willing to give her time to trust and blossom  Mila doesn’t need a perfect dog trainer. She just needs someone willing to help her become the confident little dog we know she can be. August 17, 2026, 7:49 pm

Story
Meet Frank – Your New Favorite Shadow If you’ve ever wished for a best friend who thinks the sun rises and sets with you, then it’s time to meet Frank. This handsome, all-black, 15-pound dachshund has one life mission: to love his person with his whole heart. Wherever you go, Frank is right behind you, looking at you like you personally hung the moon and the stars just for him. Whether you’re folding laundry, cooking dinner, or relaxing on the couch, he’s happiest simply being by your side. Frank has the sweetest, most easygoing personality. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes—from tiny pups to giant breeds—and takes life one tail wag at a time. He’s a professional cuddler who loves curling up beside you, claiming your lap as his favorite spot, and at bedtime, don’t be surprised if he burrows under the covers to sleep right next to you. We’re still working on potty training, and Frank is making great progress every day. With a little consistency and patience, he’ll continue to thrive in his forever home. Frank is available for pre-adoption while he completes his medical care, giving his future family the opportunity to fall in love with him before he’s officially ready to go home. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who will fill your days with unconditional love, endless snuggles, and a constant reminder that you’re the center of someone’s world, Frank is waiting to meet you. ##2820378##

Story
Chiweenie!  Say hello to 11 pounds of fun.  Zena is the perfect mix of Dappled Dachshund and Chihuahua. She had a rough start in Kansas, where she and her litter were picked up. She is now ready for her new life! She is so loving, incredibly cute, energetic, and fun to be around. She is potty trained, is working on getting used to a leash, and she learns new things really quickly. She was very shy at first, but within a week is confident and coming out of her shell. She has the Chihuahua strut and thinks she can chase bunnies twice her size! Her crate is her safe haven, and she loves being in it when she is not zooming around the house. She gets along great with other dogs and is a submissive girl who loves praise.  Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##2711757##

Story
Luna is great on walks. She does like to smell all the things so I typically let her lead. She is great in her crate. She likes to build herself a little nest and be covered. She is potty trained. We have had a few poop accidents when she is not let out in a timely manner. Typically this is just a result of poor communication with my partner and I. She also wanted to mark everything when she first came to us. She loves a good stuffed animal. She enjoys cuddling with her people and will take naps near them.  ##2782213##
