Story
We adopted Lola in 2020. She was estimated to be around 5 or 6 years old. Lola has been the sweetest girl to us and just loves cuddles and snacks. However with our busy schedules and her being a senior dog it was been super difficult to care of and stay on top of her needs. Hoping to find someone who can provide her unlimited cuddles and love as we unfortunately are too busy and barely home to care for her. Our jobs are super demanding and has forced us to make such a tough decision

Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This girl was brought in with babies when her owner couldn't take care of her. She was not socialized very well so will need some work. She will need a very patient person to get her to come out of her shell. She was kept outside so she has no house manners, nor has she been with cats. She does do well with dogs her size and seems to like to play with them. She deserves a new chance to be a loved dog and companion. She will take a lot of time and investment but deserves a chance!

Story
Otis is a loving, playful, and incredibly loyal pup who's been my companion for the past several years. I adopted him from a shelter in Philadelphia when he was about 1.5 years old, after he was found as a stray on the streets of Atlanta. Since then, Otis has grown into a loyal, curious, and deeply affectionate dog. Indoors, he can be both relaxed and playful; tossing toys around or nudging you for a game of tug or fetch; while still being content to curl up nearby for a nap. Outside, he lights up even more; whether he's chasing squirrels, lying in the sun, or exploring the world around him. He's happiest when he has space to roam, a soft spot to rest, and someone nearby he trusts. My job now requires me to travel frequently, and it’s become increasingly difficult to provide Otis with the stable, active lifestyle he deserves. Making the decision difficult, but I believe it’s the right choice to give him the consistent environment and outdoor freedom he truly thrives in.

Story
Meet Daisy Daisy is a sweet, sensitive girl who has been through more than her fair share and is ready for a soft place to land. She came from a difficult situation in Georgia where she was pregnant, raised her puppies, and then—through no fault of her own—was left behind. Thankfully, now Daisy is safe in foster care.Daisy is about 2 years old and weighs just under 25 pounds. She appears to be mostly Dachshund, though her exact mix is a mystery. Emotionally, Daisy is still learning that the world can be kind. Unlike many fearful dogs who choose “flight,” Daisy tends to “freeze.” When she’s scared, she becomes very still, hoping to disappear—often burrowing into couch cushions or blankets. She arrived in New Jersey just before a major snowstorm, and the sights, sounds, and snow have been overwhelming for her. Leashes currently frighten her, so her foster is carrying her outside to a shoveled deck where she stands quietly and is slowly learning to go potty.Despite her fear, it’s clear Daisy desperately wants connection. She choses the couch spot right next to her foster and, once placed there, becomes pure velcro. She snuggles under the covers, rests her head on an arm, and occasionally gathers the courage to lift her head and sniff—small but meaningful steps of trust. When picked up, her body may go stiff at first, but once settled, she just wants to be close.Daisy does well in her crate with no accidents. She loves her food, takes treats gently, and this has been a great tool in helping her learn to trust. She has done well with other dogs and has shown no interest in cats. A calm, quiet home is essential for Daisy, with a securely fenced yard. Another confident, gentle dog in the home could be a wonderful bonus to help show her the ropes. This is a dog who will truly blossom with patience, routine, and kindness. Daisy is not broken—just scared—and she is already showing how much love she has to give once she feels safe.If you’d like to be the person who helps Daisy continue her journey and finally feel at home, please fill out an application at www.bcaaofnj.org. Interested in adopting this pet?Click here for BCAA's on-line Application! PLEASE NOTE: Our adoption fee helps to cover our expenses and includes all shots, *age appropriate*, distemper and rabies, fecal check, spay/neuter, heartworm test, grooming, and in many cases dental and also the fee we pay when we rescue from a shelter. Story
Sweet just doesn't do beautiful Bianca justice! She has a very loving heart and willing to offer it to everyone. 11 months, 13 pounds, Bianca came from a 'backyard' breeder, where she had some tough experiences with bigger dogs. She is shy at first, warms up quickly with a kind word, soft rub; just fine with dogs and cats too. She's definitely a pup, really enjoys playing, running with other dog, needs an active doggie buddy her size and a fenced yard. She could be adopted with her friend Eden. Bianca is a special little girl who deserves an amazing forever home. She loves people, being close. If you have the time and energy for a youngster, Bianca just may be the girl for you. Adoption fee $575. Fostered near Philadelphia, PA. www.longdogsrescue.org/application
