Physical appearance:  Juno is a 2-year-old female Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail.  She is average size for a female weighing about 60lbs. Personality:  Juno is a sweet girl. She has a bit of a stubborn streak, but will do just about anything to be pet and cuddled and given all the attention. She absolutely LOVES to chase her ball. She’s not the best at dropping it, but if you have 2 balls, she will drop the one in her mouth for you to throw the other one. She’s great with people but not good with dogs or cats. She has a strong prey drive and will fixate on cats and chase them. Dogs she will also fixate on and get defensive if they get in her personal space, so she needs to be an only pet. We are not sure how she is with little kids, but because she can wants to grab your fingers while grabbing treats, small kids are not a good idea. Why she's in rescue:  Juno was found as a stray and picked up by animal control. Her family never came to claim her so she was transferred to rescue to find her new forever home. Manners and Training: She knows how to sit and will walk okay on a leash with a light correction. She’s eager to please, but is over eager with her treats so you have to be careful giving them to her or she’ll take your fingers with it. Juno is potty trained and crate trained and goes right into her crate with the world “kennel”. Vetting: All our dogs are brought up to date on rabies, Bordetella, and combo, negative for intestinal parasites and heartworms, spayed and microchipped before adoption.   ##2034590##

Sweet sweet Mary Dell is looking for a home for her golden years after her beloved owner passed away. She will need an understanding home who will understand that she is quietly grieving and, while she will wag her tail and love on you, that she will not want to eat much and will be anxious for her first week or two in a new home. Mary Dell is an almost 11 year old Doberman. She is a sweet older gal and she LOVES to be pampered! Grooming time is her favorite. Even with her short fur, she loves to be brushed. She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. She is playful with other dogs in spurts and then likes to do her own thing. Mary Dell does have arthritis, but is on cosequin and rimadyl for it. She is crate trained and house trained. We do want Mary Dell to go to a home with out many stairs and with minimal hardwood floors. She has trouble walking on slick floors, but does well with rugs. Bella Adoption fee: $350 Physical appearance:  Bella is a 2-year-old female Doberman with cropped ears and a docked tail.  One of her ears does not stand. Personality:  Bella is incredibly sweet and surprisingly calm and mellow for her age. She has her playful streaks, and loves to play with her daughter Donna in her foster home. She is good with other dogs, small children, and cats. Given some time to adjust, she should fit in to almost ant situation. Why she's in rescue:  Bella was rescued as a breeding dog from an irresponsible breeder. She was rescued by a Good Samaritan along with her 2 puppies, but one of them passed away. She was surrendered over to rescue so she could find her new forever home. Manners and Training: Bella is potty trained and crate trained, but she can have some anxiety in her crate, Crating her is important though because that anxiety manifests as destruction if she’s left out to her own devices. She needs work on her basic commands and leash manners, but she is eager to please and will learn quickly with someone who will spend the time. Moose is active and curious. He loves spending his days outside exploring the yard and checking what everyone else is doing. He enjoys taking walks and walks well on a leash. He would be great with someone who could spend more active time with him and stimulate him. We originally took in Moose from a friend of a friend who lived in an apt. He had to stay in his cage for hours during the day. We had a fenced in yard and other dogs so we thought we’d be the perfect fit. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. Moose would thrive with someone who is active and could spend more dedicated time with him. He gets along with other dogs but I would recommend taking it slow and really understanding if your current pets will welcome another dog in their crew.
