Story
Lucy was found as a stray in N Florida and kept safe by a relative for two months. They were unable to keep her as an inside pet and I offered to find a good home for her. She's approximately 2 yrs old and 18 pounds. Loving, smart, energetic and bonds quickly with her human. Loves to run and play outside tossing a toy in the air and catching it on the run, and shes a lap dog. She can also be stubborn, and independent. Typical min-pin traits. If you're not familiar with the breed you should read up on its characteristics and personality. About 90% housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door to gain outdoor access. (I don't know her cues yet when she has to relieve herself so it's on me when she has an infrequent accident). I do have to walk out with her at this time. We've only been fostering 8 day but she learns quickly. She was previously ok with other small dogs. A fenced yard would be best and she can not be kept outside.

Story
Hi there! I’m Darla, a 1 year old female Doberman. I am so lucky to be here in rescue! I was found by one of the awesome vets that works with SHDR in the middle of a busy highway. When no one came forward to claim me, I came into rescue, and I’m really glad I did! I am a very smart and friendly girl who is ready to find a forever home! I am great with other dogs and kids! I am still young, so a family willing to work through the rest of my puppy phase would be amazing! *Darla has some amazing athletic abilities, a 6 foot full perimeter fence will be required for this young lady. ##1697173##

Story
Howdy! I'm Ghost, s 6 year old male Doberman. We are a pair of BIG boys (over 90 pounds each!) that like to cuddle with our people, lounge around the house, and take long walks as a family. We are good with other large dogs and have so far been cat friendly as well! Ghost does have a thyroid condition that will require lifelong management with medication, but he takes his medicine very well. These two are likely related (either brothers from different litters or father and son) and were very lucky to stay together in their amazing foster home. We have determined them to be a BONDED PAIR and will only adopt them to a home willing to adopt them both. They get anxious when separated and we do not want to further traumatize these buddies! ##1541218##

Story
Hey there! I’m Remy, a 3 year old male. Boy howdy! I am super glad to be in rescue! I was found as a stray in central Alabama during the cold winter months. I was relieved to get off the streets, and I’m even more happy to be in a foster home! I am a very clingy boy - I like to be right with you whenever I can. I live up to the standard for “velcro” with no problem! I am a very friendly and happy guy with plenty of energy to run and play! I like other dogs, but I need a proper intro at first to set us off on the right paw. After that, I can be friends with anyone! ##1631436##
