Story
Hey there! I’m Watson, a 2 year old male Doberman. Howdy y’all! This rescue life is kinda weird isn’t it? I am BIG Boy from the Carolinas that found myself in need of a new home. Luckily the folks here at SHDR took me in and are helping work on that! I’m basically a big puppy who has finally opened up and really learned how to be a dog. I really like playing with my foster siblings, but since I’m such a big boy, I can overwhelm them sometimes. I would love a home either all to myself or one with dogs as big or bigger than me to play with! I would also love a patient and understanding family who will work with me to overcome my trust issues and anxieties, while also having a confident leadership style that I can learn from. Story
People Stare At Her Like They’ve NEVER Seen A Walking Goddess Freyja is a 1 year old Pointer/Pitbull mix weighing in at 50 lbs. This beautiful girl truly lives up to her name, just like the goddess of love, Freyja is ready to give you all her love and get all yours in return. LOVE is Freyja’s love language, kisses, snuggles, rubs, and all the treats, this girl loves it all. A professional zoomer, Freyja will show you just how fast she is, sometimes she’s not sure if she’s a goddess or The Flash. Maybe she is half goddess/ half flash! Freyja is affectionate, eager to please and a lover of snuggle time. Freyja doesn’t believe only small dogs are lap dogs because she loves to lay in her person’s lap too. Freyja has mastered her doggie manners, she is crate, leash and potty trained. Our girl loves to go on walks and enjoys outside playtime. Absolutely fabulous with kids, dogs and cats, however she’s a little nervous around men at first. A securely fenced in yard is required in Freyja’s new home for all the playtime shenanigans. Extremely food motivated Freyja will do just about anything you want for a treat. Fun, kind natured, loving and energetic Freyja is the whole package. Looking to shower you with all her love, this sweet girl will have you falling head over heels. We don’t know what all Freyja endured in her past but we do know she is resilient, strong and full of love. Let’s rewrite her fairy tale and fill it with all the good things in life… she sure does deserve the best. Will you be her happily ever after? All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption.
