Story
Meet Bruno! A big boy with a big heart. He is neutered, chipped, house trained, and up to date on all vaccines. His favorite spot is by your side, but is also well behaved when left alone. He has enjoyed life as an only dog for most of his days, but would do fine with a low energy pup companion. No children or cats. He enjoys short walks and long games of hide and seek with his beloved toys. He is super smart and loves learning bonus points if there is a cheese reward!

Story
Hello, my name is Hazel and I am 7 years old. I am a male Terrier mix originally from Alabama. Ive moved around quite a bit with my dad who is currently in the military. I've lived with other dogs and cats and tiny humans. I'm very quiet until someone rings the doorbell. I also enjoyed long walks. Unfortunately my dad got stationed in Germany and wasn't able to take me with him. I'm looking for a new house that will be my forever home. I've never been aggressive with any animals or people. PLEASE ADOPT ME!!!

Meet Gauge,  a lovable and spirited rescue dog in search of his forever home. This wonderful pup is 31 lbs, orange/white 1 yr old AKC Brittany.  Gauge has a lot to offer to the right family or individual. He is healthy, UTD on Vaccines, HW & Tick neg and on prevention.  Housebroken, crate trained, neutered, rides well in the car Gauge is friendly and affectionate, always eager to shower his humans with love and attention. He has a goofy side that is sure to bring smiles and laughter to your life. He loves to fetch and play with toys. He is intelligent and even tempered.  Gauge has some basic training, but still needs additional training and guidance.  He does like to test his limits.  He will need positive re-enforcement with a gentle hand to be that loving puppy he can be.  Gauge is known for his friendly disposition and enjoys human and canine company alike.  He is an active dog who thrives with regular exercise and playtime.  He needs a fenced-in yard where he can run and play safely. If you're interested in giving Gauge a loving forever home don't miss out on this opportunity to make this darling boy part of your family! The adoption fee for KS/Gauge, who lives in Olathe, KS is $400,  which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making KS/Gauge part of your family, please complete the on-line application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Contact the South Central Region Coordinators Chris Wagoner at cwnbran@gmail.com  , Melinde Waddle at macgammy@gmail.com and/or Nancy Walker at nwalker@capecod.net  and then let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  A phone interview, home visit and vet check will be required as part of the approval process by your state coordinator, before talking to the foster of Gauge.  Transportation can be arranged up 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.October 1, 2023, 5:23 pm

Story
Winston is a sweet, friendly boy who plays well with other dogs. He has a male cocker spaniel bestie who experiences Winston’s best side every day they are together. Winston enjoys walks and hugs and belly rubs and feeling like he is the center of your world. He is not good off leash, and he can be a door dasher. If he escapes, you will spend the next 30 minutes chasing him down. He will gleefully let you catch him…..when he is done. Then he demands a hug. Winston comes from a home that loves him, but he does not love cats. He sees them as prey. Therefore, he MUST go to a cat free home, and the home must be committed to never having cats. Winston is crate trained, but he has never had free roam in his home because his home has cats. His current owner is his foster mom, and she has some strong emotions right now. So compassionate applicants committed to cat free living only. If you are interested in hanging out with Winston until death do you part, you can find an application at https://forrescue.net/cat-application/
