Story
🐾 Loki – 4.9 lbs, 8 Weeks Old | Chi/Rat Terrier Mix Meet Loki, the fearless leader of the pack! If he’s awake, he’s bouncing — not running — think baby pygmy goat zoomies. Loki loves tug-of-war, collecting every toy in sight, and trying to convince his older foster siblings to play (they’re a little intimidated by his tiny-but-mighty energy). Cuddles? Absolutely… but only after he’s burned off some serious zoomies. Nap time is serious business, usually belly-up like the king he is. He’s currently using pee pads successfully, but is starting structured potty training now that quarantine is over and business needs to be handled outside. Expected Adult Size: 13–16 lbs Puppy Disclaimer: Loki is 8 weeks old and will need patience, consistency, and time to grow into a well-rounded pup. He’s full of personality, nonstop entertainment, and tiny joy — the perfect pint-sized companion for an active home. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. Our requirements are non-negotiable and include the following: All current pets in the home must be spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, unless there is a documented medical exemption with veterinary confirmation. All current dogs must be up to date on Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (DHPP) vaccinations. All current dogs must be on consistent, consecutive heartworm prevention. Past dogs listed on the application must also show a consecutive history of heartworm prevention. 👉 To start the adoption process, please fill out our application here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/WAG/Dog Please also take a moment to read our requirements located in the application. Please note: The dog you’re applying for may already have a meet-and-greet scheduled, be on a trial with another family, or have been offered to another rescue within our network. If that happens, don’t worry—we’re always happy to help you find another great match! Our goal is to make sure every pup ends up in the best home for their needs (and yours too!

Story
🐾 Leia – 3.7 lbs, 8 Weeks Old | Chi/Rat Terrier Mix Don’t let her size fool you — Leia is the tiniest sibling with the biggest personality. She starts most of the drama, then immediately demands cuddles afterward. Leia alternates between full-speed parkour events and claiming the softest bed in the house. Got Squishmallows? She’ll claim every single one — and you won’t even argue because she’s just that cute. She’s currently using pee pads, but is starting structured potty training now that quarantine is over and life’s business needs to be handled outside. Expected Adult Size: 13–16 lbs Puppy Disclaimer: Leia is 8 weeks old and will need patience, consistency, and time to grow into a confident, well-behaved pup. Sweet, spunky, and slightly dramatic — she’s a tiny princess with main character energy, ready to steal your heart. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption. Story
🐾 Leini – 3.5 lbs, 8 Weeks Old | Chi/Rat Terrier Mix Leini is the ultimate cuddle bug. She will happily nap on your chest for hours and make you forget about chores. Tiny but mighty, she fears nothing — broom, mop, or vacuum? She’ll take it all on. When running, she bounces like a little pygmy goat, which is impossible not to smile at. Leini loves toys — especially the ones bigger than her — and takes tug-of-war very seriously for someone her size. She’s currently using pee pads successfully, but is starting structured potty training now that quarantine is over and daily life is back to normal. Expected Adult Size: 13–16 lbs Puppy Disclaimer: Leini is only 8 weeks old and will need patience, consistency, and time to learn life skills. She’s a tiny snuggle partner who brings equal parts bravery, sass, and cuteness. 🐾 Adoption Info: All of our animals are fully vetted, which includes spay/neuter, up-to-date vaccines, deworming, heartworm testing and treatment if necessary, current flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and microchipping prior to adoption.
