Story
Turtle is a pure bred Italian Mastiff (Cane Corso) that I adopted from a Humane Society. As a puppy, he was perfect but he developed some dog to dog aggression, especially with other males, and started to display very protective behavioural issues including leash reactivity and being very protectove of his owner, which, while common for the breed, became harder to control. I recently separated and while I try to give him the time, attention, love and exercise that he needs, I'm sure he could be happier in a different setting and he has complicated my life by isolating me because of his protective nature. He CAN learn to trust new people and when I need to travel for work, I board him at kennel that has fallen in love with him and the young female carers there adore him and he shows no aggression what so ever towards the people he gets time to know. They socialize him with the right type of dogs, usually submissive females, and there has never been an issue.

Meet Denis! 🐾 He is a Shepherd Cane Corso cross and ready to bring joy and excitement into your life! 🌟 With his high energy and playful spirits, every day will be an adventure. Denis loves playing fetch, running, and exploring new places. He is still young and need positive reinforcement to help them gain confidence and positive behavior for their futures! Denis still tends to jump up and nibble out of excitement, but with some easy corrections and light training they will be star pups in no time. He has improved so quickly with their manners and leash training in shelter, but with the right home we're sure Denis will completely blossom!🐕🐕 Due to his large bodies and puppy lifestyle, he is ideal for an adult-only home! Or a home with teenage kids whom are strong and confident with large bouncy dogs with big beautiful voices! He sure loves kisses, so be ready for all the love with this handsome guy, and a big snuggle pile that will keep you warm all winter long!Denis need lots of exercise and a fenced yard to burn off his energy. His perfect family will have dog experience to guide them and keep them happy and healthy, and teach him they joys of life.
