Rosa is 2 1/2 year old, spayed Pyrenees, Great/Akbash. Rosa is very loving. she is a pet and sleep inside at night. She likes to chase chickens and cats but lately has made friends with the inside cats. She lives on 10 acres but runs all day on the electric fenced 2 acres. Typical Pry her bark is fierce and keeps away everyone. Also typical is poor recall but she is wonderful to walk on a leash and loves going for rides to town. Her coat and build is powerful and shines when she get groomed also something she loves to have done. She can tend to bark but calms down when brought inside. Her diet has made her into a powerful dog. Sardines 2 boiled eggs mixed into quality kibble...treats are milk, cheese almond butter on toast, nuts, occasionally cooked liver (she no longer likes it raw) frozen basa fish fillets in summer esp, and once in a while raw beef. We will want to see where she goes, and have an agreement that if she doesn't work out you send her back to us. Good if you know this breed. Email: snowpeach@mail.com if interested in Rosa.

Genie is a pretty Shepherd X girl who didn't grow up around people for the first few years of her life. She's very healthy and her hips are great. When she trusts you, she’ll be happy to hang with you and even likes to be petted. She’s comfortable with most dogs. She needs a structured environment and a 6’ fenced secure yard. A dog door to a fenced area would be perfect, as a leash is a no-go, likely due to her roaming without a home for several years. Her perfect home would be with an older person that will offer her a low-key lifestyle. This girl would be thrilled to sit with you and watch TV. If you think you can offer Genie the home she’s been looking for, please give us a call. She fits the criteria for our Senior 4 Senior program as a permanent foster or she can be adopted to the right home at a reduced rate. Give PAWS a call to meet her.

our two Cane Corsos. They are mother and son and are bonded. Mostly black in colour with some brindle. Benny our 2 year old male is not neutered and has only 1 testicle. Bella our female is spayed. Both were wearing harnesses with their names and phone numbers. Missing since January 13 in the Wynndel area, specifically at the site of the Wynndel watershed where they have gone for many walks and are familiar with the area. Very friendly.
