Story
ELLA - (super senior, would be open to adoption IF the PERFECT family is found) Oh Ella, Princess Ella, … 💕 What a SWEETHEART you are! And so affectionate! Ella found herself in a local shelter on the euthanasia list list because she was ‘medical’. After a rough shave & nail trim, Ella was able to break out of her ‘chains’. The vet checked her out & reported: old as dirt 😂, luxating rear patellas, minor trachea restriction, bad teeth, cataracts, hearing impairment. Nothing unusual for the 12/14 years of life. Has an ear infection & is getting treatment. A dental was done 2/22/2026. Vet said her heart is strong ❣️❣️ Her spirits match her heart❤️ She is a happy happy girl now! From horribly neglected to cherished like she deserves. Welcome to The Ranch ole gal, we are the lucky ones 💕🐾💕 🐾approx. 12 to 14 yrs old 🐾 spayed 🐾approx. 14-lbs 🐾poodle- mix 🐾cataracts/ vision impaired, but she can see a tiny bit & gets around just fine 🐾hearing impaired 🐾fully vaccinated 🐾microchipped 🐾eats well (only has 3 teefers left, I soak her dry food with water) 🐾gets along great with all our dogs & cats 🐾luxating rear patellas (slipping knee-caps) dont seem to bother her at all 🐾the minor trachea collapse doesnt bother her either (will need to wear a harness in lieu of a collar) *grade 2/6 heart murmur but her heart is strong

Story
Cali, Cal Fire Cali, found herself at the doorstep of a local fire-station. A fireman contacted us because "she was too special for the shelter". Cali quickly made friends with their resident dog, and won the hearts of the firefighters. Cali was chipped but unregistered. The chip was tracked back to a local shelter who confirmed that Cali had been adopted from them as a pup. The shelter contacted that family who said they gave her to another family. That family, never returned our calls. So Cali found herself abandoned, for the third time, before she was 1-year old. Cali is VERY loving and is so happy to just be by your side. She has started basic obedience training and has proved to be super smart and eager to please. Welcome Cali, you are a Lucky Dog now! *approx. 1-year old (est. DOB 7/19/2025) *MIX – looks pitty/boxer/boston/cattle dog/who knows *spayed *up to date on vaccinations & rabies *approx.. 35-lbs *knows sit, loose leash, auto-sits, learning stay and spinning-heel *easy to handle; SWEET, eager to please, LOVES people, good with other dogs, been good with our cats, goats, & horses when she sees them *good in the car (back-tied & in carrier) *had a mass on her back that was removed & biopsied (benign) *old injury on front leg that healed on its own, xrays confirm it healed fine, just a bone-bump *minor luxating patella’s, vet said she might grow out of this

BROOKLYN - (in training, accepting applications) Poor Brooklyn (originally Gianni Versace) found herself abandoned & tied to a pole in Visalia in Dec. 2024. The ACO could not say enough good things about her & she was a shelter favorite. So when she became urgent, LDR swooped in & grabbed her. She is definitely a people-dog & wants to be with her humans❣️ She is sweet as pie & eager to learn (to make you happy). Welcome Brooklyn, we are LUCKY to have you in our Lucky Dog family. 💕🐾 🐾 3-years old (dob est. 12/5/2023) 🐾 female 🐾 approx. 70-lbs 🐾 good with dogs & people 🐾 knows basic obedience & is working on intermediate training (knows sit, down, stay, heel, middle, loose leash & auto sit; both verbal & hand signals) 🐾 spayed & vaccinated 🐾 microchipped 🐾 eager to learn & LOVES pets & being with her humans 🐾 has been around cats, goats, & horses while on a leash, with no issues 🐾 PRETTY😍😍

Story
Meet Fay – This little sensitive angel found herself at a Fresno shelter on the urgent list because she was shut down. Because we have a soft spot for the bullies, I sent in my crew, Megan Zahariades & Lilyane Yoakum, to assess her for me. Although she has some resource guarding & barrier reactivity, we thought she deserved a chance. WELCOME to The Ranch baby doll! Lovingly named Fay (in memory of a bully that was lost to extreme abuse). We are the lucky ones 💕🐾💕 🐾approx. 3-years old (est. DOB 2/8/2023) 🐾female (spayed) *approx. 35-lbs 🐾microchiped 🐾 fully vaccinated including rabies 🐾very sweet & affectionate 🐾typical wiggle butt 🐾walks on loose leash (like a rock star) 🐾sits (like a rock star), down, stay, up & off, heel, middle (verbal & hand signals) 🐾good with stairs 🐾waits at thresholds (no bolting/door dashing) 🐾good with nail trimming (a little wiggly but does great) 🐾good in the car (I always tether & she sits quietly) 🐾takes treats so gently 🐾good with other dogs (with slow & proper introduction) 🐾starting on crate training (knows “crate” & likes being in her special cave) 🐾sensitive & wants to be a good girl (so will need a soft & patient hand) *SHY
