Story
Dairy is a 9 year old female. Her daddy just passed away and she is very sad, she has been with him since she was just a pup. She is shy/timid with humans and takes a while to warm up but once she does, she is loving and loyal. She loved her daddy so much she was so loyal and protective over him. When he passed, she would not leave his side until she had no choice. She misses him so much. I am not sure how she is around other pets, so I think a home without other pets would probably be best, and a home with someone who is patient with her until she can warm up to them. Once she does, she will be your favorite companion ever. Please help me find her a home so she doesn't have to get euthanized.

Story
Remy is an extremely loyal and loving dog. My wife and I are looking to rehome her at this time because we cannot give her the life she deserves as we have a toddler and just had our second child. It hurts our hearts to have to do it since she is such a great dog but we feel it would be best. She turned 5 years old on June 21st. She is so soft and cuddly and amazing with kids. She has a great curious and playful personality but does not play too hard. She has never bitten anyone ever. She is spayed and has all shots. She has keloid scars on her head that she got with she was a few weeks old from a barbwire fence and they don’t bother her. The vet has said they are benign. She does great in a crate during the day and is trained to use the bathroom on grass or tan bark. She loves any type of food. She would thrive with a bigger yard and more regular walks. Any family or individual would be lucky to have her. $20 adoption fee only to cover the listing fee.

Story
Hi! My name is Charlie. I am a dog. I am a boy dog. Everybody tells me that I am a good boy dog and smart too! I really like to go on walks and I like to run a lot because I am young (approx. 6 months), I am a happy boy and pretty quick to learn to do as I am asked. I can be calm and patient when I need to be. I am really afraid to get into cars and I like cookies a bunch. I have big feet and am growing fast. Everyone says I am going to be a tall good boy dog. Me and my Mom and two sisters were abandoned on a San Joaquin County farm road in April. Luckily, we were close to a farm animal sanctuary. The people came out to the road and saw the four of us and saw that we were lost and tired and hungry and scared. They said, "Come on in. We will feed you and give you a safe place to sleep." Boy! Was I glad! The people at the sanctuary have taken care of us real good. They made certain that we all got our shots to keep us healthy. My Mom and one sister have been fixed and I am scheduled at the end of July. I am not scared because I am brave (except for cars!). It is now time for us to look for our forever and ever homes. Us kids are all growing fast and it is a lot of work for my Mom. My Mom says that it will be best if we each had a home of our own. I dream of a home with lots of activity. A big yard where I can run and play. I dream of a home where other dogs live so that I can run and play with them. I dream of a home in which I can go to sleep and wake up knowing that my new people will still want me tomorrow. I promise to be good because everybody says I am a good boy dog. Your friend, Charlie

Story
Hi! I'm Betty! Some call me Busy Betty because I like to keep busy. I am only about one year old and that is a good thing because being so young gives me lots of energy to keep busy. Busy Betty! That's me and I am glad to meet you! I am hoping that you have room in your busy home for me! I would like a home with a BIG (fenced) yard so I could run and play with you and other dogs. I LIKE other dogs a lot! I am practicing to not pull when I am on a leash and people say that I have improved a bunch!. I would like a home where people and dogs like me a lot and are happy to spend time with me. I promise to keep learning stuff to make that happen. Betty, her Mom and two siblings (from another litter) were abandoned on a San Joaquin County farm road in April 2023. All were underweight and demonstrated food aggression. None knew how to walk on a leash and proper dog manners were negligible. Staffs and volunteers have given these four deserving dogs plenty of attention and the improvements have been enormous. Betty initially demonstrated a strong prey instinct which, while greatly improved over the course of a few months, it would be best if she not be with small animals (cats, rabbits, birds, etc.) She really enjoys her leash walks and has learned not to pull. Betty is skilled at jumping fences. She doesn't do it to escape, but rather; to be with whoever is on the other side! Betty is a sweet and happy girl. Her smile is particularly endearing due to an underbite. Betty tries hard to please. Betty is looking for a forever home where she can practice 24/7.
