Story
Hi! My name is Shark, named so because when I play, I like to clack my teeth together and bite the air. I have been with my current owners since I was about five weeks old, but they've got an annoying human baby now that I don't much care for. I'm looking for a home that doesn't have pesky children who like to pull on me and get in my face. I have never bitten anyone, but I am very uncomfortable around children. Aside from that, I am a very spry, healthy, and lively "senior" dog who still acts like a puppy. I enjoy going for walks, hiking, taking trips, going on car rides and hunting small animals. When I'm not being active, I enjoy sunning myself on the front porch, keeping my humans company while they work outside, or curling up on a lap or bed. I'd make the perfect companion for anyone without kids and small pets! Up-to-date on vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm prevention Very healthy, has no health problems and really never has; I'm a tank!   If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   This boy is very sweet and should be a large boy.  About a 1.5 yeaes old. He is about 100 plus pounds..  Need to continue on house training and leash manners.  Good with dogs, but could use a large dog friend to bounce around with.  He has learned many manners at this foster home and doing well.  No children on this boy.  Sweet loving boy who has had training, but could use a refresher class.   Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $300  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##1205134##

This girl is a talker!  Lots of vocal range wants to be by your side can have separation anxiety but super sweet ready to cuddle all around good girl.  Does well with other dogs of all sizes currently in the Rescue. Not good with cats. Life stock is unknown children over 10 would be best for Gabby.Does well walking on the leash close to being housetrained and excellent riding in the car. Would love somebody who is home with her often. Otherwise she might have some separation anxiety talking she’s looking for the correct home that can handle some of her anxiety and vocal ranges. If this girl might be for you, please let us know. Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##1759114##

Story
If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Meet our intelligent and slightly stubborn two-year-old Blue Heeler! This breed is known for their exceptional intelligence, and our Blue Heeler is no exception. She would do best as a single dog, as she has some alpha tendencies.Although she is strong-willed, our Blue Heeler is amazing with people and truly thrives in their company. She is a perfect companion for older teenagers and adults, but we recommend a home without small kids. Additionally, she is not compatible with cats.  Apple, a remarkable shelter dog, arrived pregnant and gave birth to her pups in the shelter. She is incredibly courageous and fearless, even standing up to much larger dogs without hesitation. Her herding instincts are strong, making her a natural header dog. However, we haven't placed her with livestock or cats due to her tendency to exhibit this behavior. Apple's unique personality makes her a special addition to any family who understands and appreciates her instincts. On walks, she does quite well on a leash, and she absolutely adores snuggling and being close to her person. If you're looking for an intelligent, loyal, and snuggly canine companion, our Blue Heeler might be the perfect match for you! ##1784073##

Story
If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Introducing Croissant, the adorable two-year-old all-black Golden Doodle! Despite his color, Croissant is extremely skittish around children and becomes terrified and shakes when they come running towards him. Therefore, he would do best in a home without kids at this time. Croissant is not a good candidate for a household with cats either. On walks, Croissant walks closely on the leash and forms a tight bond with his owner, almost like a Velcro dog. He is highly food motivated and responds well to treats, making training a breeze. Croissant is also comfortable being in a kennel and would benefit from having a larger dog companion to play and bounce around with, helping him understand that the world is a safe place.  He does have a full standard tail, it is NOT docked.  If you're looking for a loyal and food-motivated furry friend who needs a calm and child-free environment, Croissant might be the perfect addition to your family Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##1733943##
