Since not all of our pets come into the store each day, adoption meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment.
Meet Miss Birdie!
At 3–4 years old and 18–20 pounds, Miss Birdie is ready to trade her rough past for a lifetime of love.
After she and her son were found running loose and brought to Animal Control, Birdie has shown everyone just how sweet she really is. She’s wonderful with the small dogs, is doing great with the larger dogs at the store, and is learning house manners and harness walking in her foster home.
This girl absolutely adores people. Meet her once, and she’ll act like you’ve been best friends forever.
Birdie likely didn’t have the easiest start in life. When she thinks she’s in trouble, she’ll drop flat to the ground and freeze. Because of that, she wouldn’t be the best fit for someone who uses a walker or wheelchair or isn’t steady on their feet.
What Birdie needs most is a kind heart, a little patience, and someone to show her that she’s finally home.
Think Miss Birdie might be your perfect match? We’d love to introduce you!
Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed. Adoption fee is $250
We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things. We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.
