Story
Ruger is a very loving lap dog. He loves to lay on the couch with you and rest his head on your lap. He loves to be outside in his fenced in yard. He has to have fenced in yard or he will run. He requires lots of toys to chew on when he is outside or he gets bored and digs. Rugers major handicap is that he is terrified of thunderstorms. Even if is is just lightning outside he is terrified. He does not like the forth of July. Too loud. Ruger needs to have his own food dish because he has food aggression. Ruger is very protective of his yard and house. He doesn't like strangers in his yard but if you meet that same stranger on a walk the stranger is his buddy. So he likes people when they are not in his yard. Ruger will walk on a leash but he pulls and is very strong. Ruger will take you for a walk. Ruger has never been around cats, other dogs, or children.

Story
Bear is a big loveable dog. He does very well the the other dogs in the household. He has done well with other dogs when he is out running. Oh yeah he does like to run. He needs a fenced in yard. He is not leash trained. He is not fully house trained, he still has accidents. He thinks that you are his personal pillow. Your lap is for him no questions asked. He does have some food aggression, so he has his own bowl to eat out of and that takes care of that problem. He is not too bad on drooling. He drools if he is eating or running or just gotten a drink but but any other time he is dry. He does not walk on a leash. His breed mix is actually St. Bernard/Malamute mix. They didn't have Malamute as an option.

Story
Unfortunately my sister is in the hospital with stage 4 cancer and it’s only a matter of time before passes, and I have need to rehome her dog asap, he is an XL Bully he weighs around 130lbs. He is good with people and kids but not sure about other animals. I just don’t know enough about the dog , I think he may need to be in a home with no other animals. I do know he stayed at her feet and slept with her and loves car rides. If we can’t find him a home quickly we will most likely have to have him euthanized because we can’t keep him. We are trying to fulfill her wishes by trying to find a home for him.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Archie was an unclaimed stray saved from our local pound. He is fun and goofy...LOVES to play with his ball and (in warm weather) splash in his baby pool. He's good in the house and not destructive - but he has a serious mistrust of strangers. He will warm up to them after a session of ball throwing - but would need to be heavily managed at first. He'd be a great companion and protector for a woman. For more information - call or text 217-473-9044; or email scottcountydogrescue@gmail.com.

Bucky is a sweet boy with energy at times. He is a couch hippo looking for that forever couch. He would have to be the only dog as he does not play well with others.
