Story
Junior and Chip were born in a dumping ground to an almost-feral mama in Texas and took a little time to get adjusted to being around people and being loved on. They have turned the corner and are great little guys--sweet, playful, smart (characteristic of the breed), great with other dogs and working on being more trusting of people. Chip is looking for someone who is willing to be patient with him as he figures out how to live in a home and get comfortable around people. He plays incredible with dogs so having another confident dog in the home would be very beneficial for him. If you are willing to give Chip a shot at becoming a wonderful dog, come down and meet him today!

Story
Hey there! Let me tell you about Rosie, an awesome 9-year-old girl with a zest for life! This girl is all about adventure, especially when it involves hitting the trails for a good hike. Rosie`s got energy to spare and absolutely loves running and exploring everything nature has to offer. While she can be a little cautious around other dogs at first, a proper introduction usually does the trick. The best part? She`s fantastic with kids! Just keep the kitties away though, as they make her a little nervous. Above all else, Rosie is a total sweetheart who loves nothing more than getting some good old-fashioned physical affection.

Story
Bear is an older dog that is good with kids and most other dogs and can live with one as long as it is respectful of his boundaries. No cats though, the game of chase is just too enticing. He`s a love bug that is always up for an adventure, so don`t let his age fool you, he`s still got a lot of spunk in him. Since he is over 7 years old, his adoption is free to anyone over 55! Bear would make an excellent hiking companion who would love a good snuggle at the end of the day. He rides fantastic in the car, he`s housebroken, he`s eager to hike and sticks close to you. He walks wonderful on the leash and enjoys leisurely strolls by the river. He is truly a great dog, but he takes longer than most to really settle in and feel comfortable. If you are willing to give this spunky boy a second chance, come down and meet him today, you really won`t regret it!

Story
Honey is a powerhouse of affection wrapped in a sturdy, wagging package. With a coat the color of her namesake and eyes that crinkle with perpetual joy, she embodies pure, uncomplicated sweetness. Her default setting is a cheerful, tail-thumping welcome for every single person she meets—stranger or friend, it makes no difference; to Honey, they are simply a potential new best friend waiting to happen. She’s outrageously outgoing, strutting through the neighborhood with the confidence of a celebrity, utterly convinced that every passerby is delighted to see her. Play is her love language; a tossed ball ignites a spectacular, joyful frenzy of zoomies and gleeful grins, and she’ll initiate a game of gentle tug-of-war with a fallen branch or your favorite sock with infectious enthusiasm. Despite her muscular build, her touch is gentle, her snuggles are profound, and her entire being radiates a friendly, playful energy that transforms a simple house into a truly happy home.
