Story
Zeke is a handsome dog, with the 2 breeds listed below. He is a little over 5 years of age, has been neutered and has all vaccinations. Zeke's story is much the same as numerous others out there. Zeke needs to be the only dog, and must have a secure fenced yard. He is not good with small dogs or cats. Zeke takes a little to get to know you and we think no small children. Zeke has been loved at one point and knows commands. He loves his toys and especially his toy bone that he shows off everyday. Zeke would be a great dog for a single or a couple. He would love you forever and just needs an opportunity to share that love in a fenced yard situation. Zeke's positives are he is loyal, loves to play and very handsome.

Story
Nina is her name and she is a sweet girl that needs a home. She came with her 4 puppies, and they are all adopted to good families. Now it is her turn. Nina would work great on a farm or acreage, but probably not good with small dogs or cats and no chickens. She seems to have a protective attitude to her kennel, so she may be one who will watch after your home or farm when you are away. Nina is medium in size and has a fluffy coat. We placed her as a German Shepherd mix, and she seems to fit that breed. She loves people and does well on a leash. She has been doing great in her area with her friend Josie, so we know she can do well with other females. Sometimes it is up to the dog to choose the other dogs they like to be with. So, spayed, vaccinated and up to date, this girl needs a family.

Story
Meet Clara Bear a very sweet mixed breed that has a lab head and possibly a body of a chow chow. Clara Bear is close to 18 months of age. She is spayed, vaccinated and almost ready to go to a home that can offer her patience and love. Clara is shy and we are working on her social skills at this time. She is going for walks on the leash, and beginning to feel more secure. Clara seems to like kids, but we say 8 years and up at this point. Clara will need a fenced yard to help her feel secure, and someone who can take the time and patience to give her the reassurance she needs to be the awesome dog we know she is.

Story
Oreo is a big doggie that was adopted as a puppy and returned. The reason given was that he was too large and active for the children in the home. He is now neutered and vaccinated and waiting for a family that cares enough to give him a 2nd chance. Oreo is house trained, but needs training in obedience. He doesn't realize how large he is. In a nutshell he needs a person that can give him the time and training he needs He is very handsome with a white coat and beautiful black spots. If interested in Oreo please fill out an application at 12hillsdogrescue.org UPDATE: Oreo has been going for walks with our trainers. He is doing great and gets along with all the doggies he walks with. Oreo looks like a big Oreo cookie, he is sweet and just needs a family to love him. We think a family with older kids as he is so large

Betty is his best friend and they are great together. Diesel weighs close to 50# and has a handsome brindle coat.
