Meet MacIntyre! She also goes by Mac (or Mac n’ Cheese). She’s a 3 year old (born on Valentine’s day!) spayed female blue heeler mix. She’s silly and sweet, though not much of a cuddle dog. She loves to go for runs and hikes and is excellent on leash. She’s very smart and has been professionally trained (though she also has a stubborn streak).She is anxious around new people and has to be intentionally introduced. She can be reactive if a stranger tries to touch her. I have two children who she has lived with since she was a puppy, but I would not recommend she live in a household with small kids. She could be introduced to other dogs, but that, too would have to be an intentional and slow process. I would not house her with cats. She’s a really good dog and would thrive with the right human.

Hi, my name is Romy! I am a 5 year old, 30 pound mixed breed who is hoping to blow this popsicle stand with my best friend, and adopted sister, Michelle! Michelle and I decided to go on a little run around town and ended up at the shelter, and have been together ever since! Michelle is my BEST friend and I get really sad when we are apart. Her and I kept knocking cones when we were put back together after our spays, but we were so excited! But, you probably want to know about me myself. As you can see, I am ALL smiles. I am the happiest girl who just loves to be around people and making new friends. I also am a really good singer in my opinion. I mean I have never had any complaints, I evens sometimes start a choir! But, Michelle definitely brings me out of my shell.
