Story
Reno is a true gentleman. I've only had the pleasure of living with him for about 3 months but he is very loving, easy to take places (loves going into home depot and car rides), and low maintenance. I adopted him after my son moved out of state with our Shih Tzu, thinking It would just me Reno and I. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my son is not able to take care of our Shih Tzu and Reno is not ok with a small dog in the house. He is not aggressive towards other dogs and plays well with dogs his size but he is not patient or accepting of small dogs, understandably. It's not fair to either of the dogs to have them separated in the house and Reno deserves to be in a home where he is the only pet and can get all of the attention he wants. I adopted him in Colorado, he was taken to the shelter after his elder owner who he was with since his birth, passed away in their home with only Reno around. Reno is used to being with his human partner a lot and enjoys doing anything.

Story
Tucker is a male, Akira is a the black female and Bear is a little boy. All are 16 week old labradoodle puppies that need forever homes. We expect their fur to be longer and course like dad. We are not breeders just had an unexpected litter. Mom is a lab and dad is a first gen doodle. All vaccines are up to date including rabies. Mom and dad weigh 66 pounds so we expect the pups to be about the same size. The pups are very smart loving and full of energy. They love kids and are very social With some one on one training we know they will be great companions for a dog loving family. We are looking for serious dog lovers to adopt our babies.

Story
Our sweet girl Miss Red has made her way back to us. While it didn’t work out with her previous home, it was through no fault of her own or her owners. We`ve now learned that she truly needs to be the only pet in the household, and that`s okay — she deserves to be someone’s one and only. Miss Red is a 7 year old Redbone coonhound mix who is incredibly smart, playful, and athletic. She is patient during grooming, including baths and nail trims and is a sunbathing queen who loves to stretch out in the grass. She is fantastic on a leash and loves a good walk, but she is also a total snuggle bug on the couch. She’s a classic hound, so we’re ideally looking for someone with hound experience. She’s got a few habits we’re working on — like counter surfing and garbage picking — but she’s super responsive to training.

Story
Hi, my name is Zhara! I am a transfer here. I spent over a year at the last facility before moving here in hopes of finding my forever home. I love attention and might love treats even more. I do have to be the only fur baby in your heart, though. While I love people, I am not a fan of other furry friends. I also require someone willing and able to work on my leash training (I don`t quite know how strong I am :) ). If you are interested, or have any questions, please reach out to my friends here at PHS!

Story
Apollo is a 9 year old certified good boy, with a heart full of love and a need for rolling around in the grass. He is a lab mix, and he sure acts like one! Need a walking buddy? Apollo is the best on a leash! Want a tanning partner? He`s got you covered! Apollo is dog selective, and would thrive in a home with no small children.
