Minnie has a very high energy level and loves to be outside. She is a bit timid but she is very affectionate once she warms up to you. She was rescued from death row after being found as a stray. She likes to play with other dogs. She has been decompressed and ready for a forever home now. Shelter said she was 2 yrs old. Its time for her to find her forever home. Story
WHY IS PARKER STILL HERE? No really. Someone explain this to me. Parker came out of the shelter nine months ago skin-and-bones, shaking, unsure if the world was done being cruel to him. Every rib showing. Spirit bruised. A dog who had clearly been someone’s responsibility once—and then wasn’t. And yet. Nine months later, Parker is thriving. Just under 60 pounds of healthy, athletic, ridiculously handsome brindle goodness. Apricot-and-gold coat. White chest. White-speckled legs. And photographic evidence suggests he has outstanding headgear confidence. When it comes to accessories (especially antlers!), this boy’s got game! Parker is about two years old and checks every single box people say they’re looking for: 🏠 House-trained 😴 Quietly sleeps through the night in his crate 🐕 Great with other dogs 🐕‍🦺Leash trained 🤐Well-mannered and genuinely easy to live with He is not chaotic. He is not destructive. He is not a “project dog.” He is just… here. Still waiting. That’s the part that hurts. Because Parker doesn’t demand attention. He doesn’t fall apart. He doesn’t scream his story. He just shows up every day as a good boy who asks for very little—food, love, consistency—and somehow keeps getting passed over. Here’s what he does need: a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can safely stretch those long legs, and an adopter with a solid veterinary history—someone who understands that good dogs stay good when they’re cared for. Parker’s been safe in foster for nine months. He’s healed. He’s ready. What he hasn’t gotten yet is the one thing that actually matters: permanence. ❤️Parker is available for adoption through ARLO Rescue 🎉Ask about our adoption specials! Includes neuter, vaccines, microchip, deworming, heartworm test & prevention, flea/tick treatment. 👉 Apply: https://www.arlorescue.com/adoption-form.html If you’ve ever said, “I just want a good dog,” 🐕 congrats. You found him. Now please explain to me why he’s still here.

Story
ADOPT LUKE DUKE! What a handsome guy! Luke is 1 year old and a gorgeous boy! He is ready to find his forever home. He had a rough start at life but wants to put that all behind him. He is doing very well in his foster home. Luke is a soft-hearted guy and learning that not all people will hurt him. He is loving and affectionate. He is dog and cat friendly. He is crate trained and house-trained. He loves to lay on the couch and watch TV with you. He really enjoys wrestling with the other dogs in the home and can entertain himself with toys. He can be a little unsure of new things and people, so a little patience is good with him at first. 🎉Ask about our adoption specials! This includes spay/neuter, deworming, vaccines, heartworm negative and started on prevention, flea/tick free and microchip. Apply to adopt at www.arlorescue.com ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and good vet history.

Story
ADOPT OLIVE! Olive: Will Trade Eternal Devotion for Treats and Netflix Marathons 💚 [Please share-share-share so Olive can go to her forever home.] Meet Olive: 2 years old | 50 pounds | The goodest girl who just needs time ⏰ Olive's life started rough. She was dumped with her sister—starving, terrified, and convinced that humans were something to fear. But here's what the last few months in foster care have taught her: not all people are bad. Some are gentle. Some bring treats. Some offer love without asking for anything in return. What Makes Olive Special: She's calm 🧘‍♀️—no drama, no chaos, just quiet sweetness She's playful 🎾 with dogs and toys once she feels safe She's treat-motivated 🦴 (the way to her heart is paved with snacks) She's a perfect couch potato 🛋️ for Netflix marathons and lazy Sundays She walks fairly well on a leash 🐕‍🦺 and She's good with kids 👪 She is completely house-trained! ✅ What Olive Needs: 💙 Patience as she learns to trust 🏡 A secure fenced yard 🤫 A calm, quiet home (no chaos, please) ❤️ Someone who understands that the best things take time The Truth: Olive isn't the dog who bounces up to strangers with instant affection. She's the dog who watches, waits, and decides you're safe before she gives you her heart. And when she does? You'll have earned the loyalty of a dog who knows what it's like to lose everything—and chose to trust again anyway. If you're looking for a calm, sweet companion who will appreciate your patience and repay it with devotion, Olive is waiting for you. 🎉Ask about our adoption specials! Includes neuter, vaccines, microchip, deworming, heartworm test & prevention, flea/tick treatment. 🖤 Apply: https://www.arlorescue.com/adoption-form.html ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: A secure fenced yard and good vet history. Olive has been waiting for someone who gets her. Is that you?
