Story
Introducing Han Solo, the fluffiest space cadet this side of the galaxy! At 6 months old and 58 pounds of pure fluff, this Great Pyrenees is ready to make the jump to light speed—right into your heart. With a coat as white as Hoth snow and a personality that’s out of this world, Han Solo is the ultimate co-pilot for all your adventures, whether you’re exploring the backyard or cruising through the neighborhood. Han came to us after a brief stint at the shelter where, for reasons that boggle the mind, he went unclaimed. Their loss is definitely your gain because this boy is ready to bring his mix of charm, fluff, and a little bit of swagger into your life. Han Solo has a special talent for making your home feel like the Millennium Falcon. He’s got a knack for finding the coziest spots in the house—whether it’s at your feet while you’re working or right in the middle of your kitchen floor (because who doesn’t need a fluffy speed bump while cooking?). And don’t worry about the Dark Side—Han’s as good as they come, with no resource guarding in sight. He’ll gladly share his toys, his space on the couch, and even his favorite spot by the fountain, which he’s transformed into his personal splash zone. When it comes to car rides, Han Solo is the epitome of chill. He hops right in, ready for the next adventure, and spends the journey either taking in the sights or lying down like the seasoned traveler he is. Public outings? Han’s got potential. He’s still figuring out the whole “don’t jump on people” thing, but with a little training, he’ll be the most charming sidekick at any café or pet store. Han Solo’s leash manners are as smooth as his coat—he doesn’t pull or try to trip you up, which makes him the perfect walking buddy. And while he’s still working on his potty training and learning that shoes are not chew toys, he’s making great strides. He’s already mastered the art of sleeping in his crate and happily goes in for treats, so you know he’s a quick learner. But there’s one other thing Han’s new family should be prepared for: this Jedi-in-training can be a bit mouthy. Whether it’s a playful nibble or a reminder that you’re late for playtime, Han Solo likes to communicate with his mouth. So, if you’re ready to channel your inner Yoda and work with him on this little quirk, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal companion who’s eager to please—once he’s done trying to nibble on your fingers to get your attention that is ;) . Now, about his guardian duties—Han Solo takes them seriously. He’s a Level 3 Guardian Barker, which means he’ll patrol your yard with the dedication of a Jedi Knight, letting you know if a squirrel dares to enter his territory. But don’t worry, he’s not one to bark without reason; he’s just making sure your home is safe from any intergalactic threats. And as a true Great Pyrenees, he’s got a few quirks you’ll want to prepare for. First, understand that Han Solo hears what you say—he just doesn’t care. He’ll acknowledge your recall request with a regal ear twitch, but don’t expect eye contact or immediate compliance. He’s got 3,000 years of independent thinking in his DNA, so getting him to sit might feel like negotiating with Jabba the Hutt. Let’s talk about shedding—if you’re the type to ask if he sheds, just know you’re not adopting Han Solo; you’re adopting a fluffy snowstorm that will cover your floors, your furniture, and quite possibly, your entire wardrobe. Embrace the fur, or prepare to be outsmarted by a dog who truly believes he’s the ruler of his own galaxy. Han Solo is a social butterfly with other dogs, especially puppies, and while he’s not had much experience with kids or cats, his happy-go-lucky nature suggests he could adapt with the right guidance. He’s a mix of playful and calm, enjoying a good game of fetch as much as he loves a quiet moment by your side. He’s also got a thing for water, whether it’s splashing in a fountain or joining you in the shower—yes, you read that right, he’s a water-loving Pyr! This fluffy rebel is still figuring out his place in the universe, but one thing’s for sure—he’s ready to bring a whole lot of love, laughter, and a bit of light-speed energy to a home that’s ready to embrace his big personality and even bigger heart. So, if you’re looking for a loyal co-pilot who’s equal parts playful and cuddly, Han Solo might just be the one to lead your family to a galaxy of fun and adventure. 📍 Pickup Location: Tulsa, OK 📝 Adoption App: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app

Story
Meet Deborah Harry, the rock star of your heart! At 7 years old, this 86-pound Border Collie mix is ready to steal the spotlight in your home. She came to us after being surrendered to the animal shelter, Deborah Harry has been making her comeback in style, proving that even seasoned stars can shine brightly again. Now, don’t be fooled by her senior status—Deborah may be more "Retired Rockstar," but she’s still got plenty of energy for an encore (as long as it doesn’t involve fetch—she’s strictly a backstage kinda gal). Deborah Harry is the ultimate cool girl. She’s got that laid-back charm, a bit like a roadie who’s seen it all but still knows how to have a good time. When it’s time for car rides, she’s your wing-woman, jumping in and scanning the streets like she’s on her way to her next big gig. Errands, cafe visits, neighborhood strolls—Deborah’s all in, ready to flash that million-dollar smile to her adoring fans. And speaking of that smile, it’s the kind that could melt the iciest of hearts, complete with chocolate chip paws and a tummy just begging for a good scratch. This lady knows how to work a crowd. She loves meeting new people, offering her paw for trade-in pets, or doing the classic "lean and smile" for maximum attention. But don't worry, she’s not one to hog the limelight. Deborah Harry gets along with other dogs just fine—she’s cool sharing the stage, but honestly, she’s just as happy being the only act in town. And cats? Well, she’s curious, but she’s not planning any big showdowns. Deborah Harry is great with dog-savvy kids! She’s the kind of dog who will happily tolerate the excitement of children, as long as they understand how to handle her gentle, laid-back vibe. So, if you’ve got little ones who know how to respect a dog’s space and offer a loving pat, Deborah will be thrilled to include them in her fan club. Deborah Harry is more about the chill life these days. She’s a master of the "find your spot and lounge" technique, particularly if that spot is near the AC. Her hobbies include being brushed (she’s a total diva for it), napping on cool tiles, and giving you those “I love you” eyes that’ll make you cancel all your plans to spend the day cuddling. Now, let’s address the elephant in the room—or rather, the lipoma on Deborah’s leg. She’s got a fatty lipoma, which is just an old-age badge of honor. Think of it like the “extra” pieces that come with aging, like those uninvited gray hairs or the sudden realization that you can no longer eat pizza without regrets. It’s just part of the package that comes with getting older. Deborah Harry’s house manners are top-tier like she’s been training for a spot on "The Real Housewives of Well-Behaved Dogs." Potty trained? Of course. Chewing on non-toy items? Pfft, that's for amateurs. She’s more interested in lounging next to the AC vent like a diva waiting for her close-up. Free roam of the house? Absolutely. She’s so trustworthy she could be left alone with your favorite snacks—and they’d still be there when you got back. No digging, no fence-jumping Houdini acts, and her barking is so minimal, you might think she’s silently judging the squirrels rather than announcing their presence. She’s the queen of calm, guardian mode set to "Low-key Zen Master," and the couch? Well, let's just say she graces it with her presence but never leaves a mess. If house manners were an Olympic sport, Deborah would have more gold than Michael Phelps. In a nutshell, Deborah Harry is the epitome of easy-going. She’s the kind of girl who’ll join you for a walk, relax with you on the couch, and offer emotional support during every Netflix binge. Sure, she’s no longer stage-diving or crowd-surfing, but she’s got a lifetime of love, joy, and affection to share. So if you’re looking for a cool, calm, and collected companion with a heart of gold (and a soft spot for tummy rubs), Deborah Harry is ready to make you her number one fan. 📍 Pickup Location: Tulsa, OK 📝 Adoption App: https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app

Story
Meet Shalane, the 90-pound fluffy enigma that’s likely part Great Pyrenees, part Golden Retriever, and maybe just a sprinkle of Collie—like the canine version of a mixed salad that somehow landed in your dog park. This gentle giant isn’t just here to look pretty; she’s on a mission to be the most loyal footrest you’ve ever had, often choosing to station herself at your feet while you navigate the trials of daily life. Think of her as your personal canine companion and motivational coach—whenever you move, she’ll be right there, making sure you don’t forget to share your snacks. Now, let’s address the elephant (or rather, the fluffy cloud) in the room: Shalane takes a while to warm up to new doggy friends. If she were at a party, she’d be the one in the corner, quietly judging the small talk before deciding if she’d like to join the fun. But fear not! Once she feels comfortable, she can be quite the socialite, provided her potential dog pals are male and relaxed. However, when it comes to cats, let’s just say Shalane’s idea of a good time doesn’t include “sacks-of-meow.” Nope, they’re not invited to her party. As for kids, she’s the gentle giant who’s great with well-mannered little humans. Just remember, Shalane isn’t a fan of kids jumping on her like a trampoline, so some boundaries will go a long way. And when it comes to car rides, you’ll need to buckle her in tighter than a rollercoaster rider, as she’s known to chew through leashes faster than a kid demolishing a birthday cake. She is a bit of a homebody, Shalane loves lounging around and will station herself near you, keeping an eye out like the loyal guardian she is. She might even offer you her finest footrest as she lays her head on your foot while you cook. If you’re lucky enough to catch her at her best, you’ll see her playful side emerge in spurts, making your heart just about burst with joy and you see this girl start to open up. On the leash, Shalane is a bit of a power walker. She’ll pull like she’s auditioning for the canine version of “Dancing with the Stars” when she spots another dog, but when she’s not distracted, she’s a perfect lady. Training? She’s got potential! With some consistent guidance, she’s learning the ropes and making strides in her puppy education. Shalane's house manners are top-notch! She’s like the guest who comes over, eats all your snacks, and still remembers to say thank you. A true lady, she knows how to lounge gracefully on the couch without turning it into a crime scene. Sure, she might occasionally eye your favorite shoe like it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet, but who among us can resist a tasty sole? Crate trained and polite, she’ll quietly chill while you’re out, making her the perfect housemate who won’t judge your snack choices or loudly critique your choice of TV shows. Shalane’s past may have left her with a few emotional hurdles, but this big-hearted girl is determined to figure out “how to dog.” She’s ready to tackle her puppy emotions and behaviors with your help. The reward? A steadfast companion who believes that every day is a chance to learn, grow, and maybe steal your heart—along with the occasional shoe. 📍 Pickup Location: Norman, OK

Story
Hi there future human! I’m Navy Wigglebutt, a 9-month-old Great Pyrenees/Husky mix, and let me tell you, life with me is like being the star of a rom-com where every day is a new adventure. I’m a happy-go-lucky pup on a mission to make the world my playground, and I’m looking for a partner-in-crime who’s up for some serious fun! Now, if you’re wondering what I’m like, picture this: I’m like a fluffy cloud with a dash of mischief, always eager to meet new friends—both human and canine! Seriously, I’m the social butterfly of the dog park. If there are other dogs around, I’ll be the one bouncing off the walls with excitement, ready for a game of tag or a good old-fashioned wrestle. I might not need a buddy to have fun, but having one would just make my shenanigans even more epic! I’m great with kids, though I can get a little bouncy, so if you have a little linebacker at home, we’ll be a perfect match! As for the cats, let’s just say I’m a little too curious for their liking. I mean, who could resist the urge to chase something that moves? But don’t worry; I promise I’m not a cat-tastrophe waiting to happen—just a playful soul who thinks every creature could be a potential friend! Let’s talk about my car skills. I may still need a little boost to hop in, but once I’m in, I’ll be the world’s best co-pilot. I’ll lay down in the backseat like a pro while we zoom around town, just keeping an eye on the scenery—and maybe barking at the occasional squirrel. When it comes to walks, I’m basically a canine explorer. I’m all about those leash adventures, soaking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the great outdoors. Hiking? Count me in! I’m the furry version of a GPS—always ready to take the road less traveled! As for my energy level, let’s just say I’m playful but know how to chill too. I love toys, especially the crinkly ones that make all the fun noises. And while I might occasionally dig at the dirt like a treasure hunter, my real mission is to be your loyal sidekick, ready to accompany you on all of life’s adventures. Now, I’m not saying I have a PhD in obedience, but I’m definitely treat-motivated and eager to learn. With a little guidance, I’ll be the star pupil of our training sessions—think of me as the doggie version of a “straight-A” student, but with more wiggles and less homework. Oh, you bet your favorite pair of socks I’m potty trained! You can count on me to make it to the great outdoors for my business—no embarrassing slip-ups here! Oh, and we can’t forget to chat about my current obsession: chewing! Yep, I’m in my “let’s gnaw on everything” stage, which is basically like having a toddler who just discovered the joys of a crayon box—everything looks like a drawing canvas. I’m pretty good at sticking to my toys, but I can’t resist a rogue stick I find in the backyard or, you know, that water hose that’s just begging for attention. I have so much fun playing in the water when my foster mom uses it, so can you blame me for thinking that me chewing on it would yield me some of that lovely water? News flash...it didn't! My foster mom says it’s all part of growing up, and while I’m just trying to perfect my gnawing skills, I’m learning that some things, like your favorite sandals, are definitely off-limits. With a little guidance and patience (and a steady supply of toys), I promise I’ll grow out of this phase and become the well-mannered companion you’ve always dreamed of. Until then, just know that my chewing adventures are all part of the charm that comes with adopting my handsome self. So, if you’re looking for a fluffy bundle of joy who will always be ready for a snuggle session, an outdoor escapade, or even just a Netflix binge with you (and let you know when something exciting happens on screen), look no further. I’m Navy Wigglebutt, and I’m ready to fill your life with endless love, laughs, and tail-wagging happiness. Let’s embark on this journey together, as long as you understand that I fully intend to be your "forever dog" and not just an "until dog". I deserve better than that, and just because life changes doesn't mean you need to toss me out! I would never do that to you, so please don't do that to me. I just don't know that my heart could take it. ❤️🐾 With lots of love Navy Wigglebuttt

Story
Oh, hey there! Name’s Socks, and I'm a dapper 4-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with enough fluff to stock a winter coat factory. At 31 pounds and counting, I’m growing fast and have big plans to keep my family safe from all the invisible dangers (like butterfly sneak attacks and phantom crickets). Alright, here’s the backstory (cue the dramatic music): My brother, Ghost Bear, and I had a bit of a rough start. We somehow ended up in the shelter together, just a couple of fluffballs trying to figure out what happened. It was loud, cold, and honestly pretty scary for a pair of sweet pups like us. But then, we got our lucky break—we landed with the awesome folks at Pyr Paws N Fluffy Tails Rescue, and now we’re on the lookout for our forever homes! Here's the rundown: I’m a certified sweet boy who loves affection but won’t demand it 24/7. In fact, I'm the type of pup who appreciates a little me time here and there—I’ll even stroll over to my kennel and settle down all by myself, like a proper gentleman. But don’t worry; I still keep an eye on you because someone has to make sure you don’t sneak off without me! I’m happiest when I'm within eyesight of my humans. You want to go outside? Great, let’s go. Hang out inside? Yep, I’m in. I’m flexible like that, just as long as I’m part of the action. And if you’re busy, don’t worry—I’ve got a bone-chewing hobby to keep me occupied, though I might take a break to see if you’ve dropped any snacks. Now, I’m not gonna lie—I approach life with a healthy dose of skepticism. New places? Hmm. Gonna need a minute. New things? I’ll take a hard pass at first, thank you very much. Bathtubs? Nope. That’s where I draw the line. Water might be nice in a bowl, but in a tub, it’s basically lava, and I will absolutely fight you on that one. But put a treat in front of me, and suddenly, I’m ready to conquer the world! Did someone say “sit”? Oh, I know that one. I can sit for a treat like a pro… though staying seated might be a challenge when my puppy energy kicks in. I've got moves that could rival a pogo stick, especially when my brother and I get into a wrestling match—playtime is the best time, after all! Now, if you’re more of a homebody, don’t worry—I’m totally good with that too. Whether we’re kicking back on the couch or watching TV (I hear dogs in shows are endlessly entertaining), I’m right there with you. Alright, here’s the deal on my potential future roommates—furry and otherwise: I’m a pretty chill dude when it comes to other dogs, especially if they’re cool with my play style. My brother and I have wrestling matches that look like they belong on pay-per-view, so if you’ve got a playful pup at home, I’d be happy to team up. But if you’re more into the single-dog lifestyle, that’s fine too! I’m good at entertaining myself (give me a bone, and I’m set), and I’ll gladly soak up all your attention without needing a tag team partner. Now, about cats… that’s a mystery to me. I haven’t met one yet, but I hear they’re pretty tiny and fast. If your cat has a “no dogs allowed” policy, fair warning: I might need a little practice in respecting feline boundaries (hey, I’m a curious pup!). As for kids, the same story. I haven’t spent time with any mini-humans, so I can’t promise I know all the kid rules yet. If your household includes younger ones, I’d be happy to give it a try. I’m gentle at heart, but a little patience would go a long way as I learn the ropes. Alright, let’s get to the heart of the matter—my vibe. I’m what you might call a “happy-go-lucky, play-hard-then-chill” kind of guy. I’ll jump into playtime with other pups, wrestle for a bit, and throw my best puppy moves. But once I’ve had my fill, I’m just as happy to lay low and recharge my batteries (preferably somewhere cozy with a good bone). Energetic? Sure! I’ve got a solid dash of spunk, and I do best with a buddy who can match my play style or a family who’s ready to keep my brain working with all the right toys and games. Now, full disclosure: I’m still figuring out this thing you humans call “fetch.” I mean, I’m happy to watch you throw the ball, but me bringing it back? Not so much. I’m more of a “you throw, I cheer you on” kind of guy. Could I do apartment living? Sure… with some fine print. I’d need a schedule packed with walks, playtime, or maybe a doggy daycare hookup to keep my energy in check. Otherwise, I might get a little stir-crazy without all my usual backyard exploration. As for potty training, we’re almost there! I’ve got the hang of most things, but every so often, I’ll still surprise you with a little pee accident (usually just a couple of times a week). But hey, no indoor pooping for this guy—I’ve got standards! I can sleep a solid 6 hours in the kennel before I need a bathroom break, so we’re getting close to the potty-trained finish line. Now, here’s my one mischievous quirk… I’m a bit of a shoe thief. Don’t worry, I won’t destroy them—I just think they make great collectibles. Barking? I’m a Level 2 Guardian: I’m cool as a cucumber until the other dogs start barking. Once they sound the alarm, I’ll join in, just to make sure everyone knows I’m on the job too. One thing you should know about me: I’m not looking to be a part-time pal. Nope, I’m here for the long haul! I’m what you’d call a forever dog—the kind who wants to be part of the family through every chapter, not just for the easy ones. So, if you’re thinking of adding me to your life, know that I’ll be there through all of it—the moves, the new babies, the changes, and every wild and wonderful thing in between. I’ve already had my fair share of uncertainty, and I’m ready for a home that sees me as family. If that’s what you’re looking for, too, then we might just be the perfect match. 📍 Pickup In Yukon, OK

Story
Hi there, I’m Koa! Now, before you ask: yes, these are my real ears. I know they look like they belong to a satellite dish company, but they’re 100% mine, and they come with a lifetime warranty. These bad boys can hear a snack bag rustle from three rooms away or detect a squirrel plotting chaos from across the yard. Pretty impressive, huh? At two years old, I’m a delightful mix of Golden Retriever and German Shepherd, which basically makes me the ultimate combo of smart, loyal, and drop-dead gorgeous. My golden coat is soft enough to make you question why people spend money on blankets, and my petite 60-pound frame is perfect for all your hugging and cuddling needs. I’m like a pint-sized supermodel who loves belly rubs. I didn’t always have it this good though. Not too long ago, I was out on my own, wandering the streets as a stray. I don’t know how it happened, but no one came looking for me. I ended up in a shelter, and before I knew it, I was on death row. Yep, me—sweet, smart, gorgeous me—was about to have my story cut short. Luckily, the amazing folks here at Pyr Paws N Fluffy Tails swooped in and said, “Nope, not on our watch!” They gave me a second chance, and I’ve been making the most of it ever since. I will never be able to repay my foster family for their generosity and for taking a chance on me. Now I’m looking for a forever home where I’ll never have to worry about being forgotten again. So, here’s the scoop—besides being ridiculously cute and having ears that could pick up radio signals, I’ve also got a little health challenge I’m tackling right now. I tested positive for something called heartworms. No, it’s not a heart-shaped worm (that would be weirdly cute, but also gross), but rather a parasite that lives in your heart and lungs. It’s not a fun thing to have, but the good news is it’s treatable! I’m currently undergoing treatment to kick these little guys to the curb and feel 100% again. The process takes a little time, so I won’t be available for adoption until mid-December. If you're local to the OKC area and can help me with finishing my meds and getting to my vet appointment in about a month or so, you could be the one who gets to bring me home sooner. Now, let’s talk about my vibe in the day-to-day stuff because I know you’re curious about what I’m like beyond the glam shots and witty charm. Car rides? Oh, I’m a pro—or at least I like to think so. I’ll hop right in, no hesitation, and might even try to call dibs on the shotgun seat because, hello, VIP status. Once I’m settled, though, I’ll lie down in the back and chill. I’m a great road trip buddy. When it comes to outings, though, I’m still a work in progress. Public places like cafes or pet stores? Not quite my jam yet. I get a little too excited when I see other dogs, so I’d need some practice and patience to keep my cool. For now, being a homebody is more my speed—cozy couches, backyard hangouts, and snuggle sessions are totally my vibe. Think of me as your introverted bestie who loves staying in and binge-watching your favorite shows. Leash walks? We’re still figuring those out. I haven’t had much experience yet, but I’m learning! I definitely prefer a harness (fashionable and functional, thank you very much) because I tend to pull on the leash. Patience and practice will be the key to turning me into your perfect walking partner. Meeting new people? Oh, I’m a mix of excitement and shyness at first. I might play it cool and hang back, or I might lean in and plop down right in front of you for some pets. Once I decide you’re friend material, you’ll have a loyal companion who will soak up every ounce of love you’re willing to give. Long story short, if you’re looking for a sweet, goofy, playful gal who also knows how to chill, I might just be your dream dog. I’m a solid mix of active and calm. You want to toss a ball? Great, I’ll play fetch with you all day long. (Seriously, I could probably qualify for Fetch Olympics.) You want to curl up and binge-watch something? Perfect—I’m down for that too, as long as you don’t mind sharing the popcorn. I’ve recently discovered the pure joy of toys, and let me tell you, I’m making up for lost time. Squeaky toys, tug toys, plushies—it doesn’t matter. If it’s fun and makes you laugh, I’m all over it. Oh, and speaking of laughs, I’ve got a new move I like to show off: standing on my back legs and gently placing my paws on you. It’s my way of saying, “Hey, I love you!” in the most adorable way possible. Alright, time for a little honesty—I've got a tiny quirk I’m working on. I’m a bit iffy around men. Sometimes, when I meet one, I get a little nervous and might let out a “grumble” to make sure they know I’m still figuring them out. But don’t worry! With some patience, kindness, and maybe a treat (or five), I’m starting to realize that they are not going to hurt me. Once I trust you, though? You’re in for a lifetime of love, snuggles, and enough goofy antics to keep you laughing. So, if you’re willing to give me a little time to warm up, I promise I’ll make it worth your while! Now, let’s talk about my living situation, because I’m a flexible girl and I’m pretty adaptable to whatever you’ve got going on. Apartment living? Yep, I can totally do that—with walks, of course! I’ve got plenty of energy to burn, and I’ll gladly take you on some adventures around the neighborhood. Potty training? Check! I know the drill and am all about doing my business outside like a well-mannered lady. Kennel trained? Absolutely! I’ll happily settle into my crate when needed. Couch potato? Oh, you bet I am! I mean, if you have a couch and you’re not letting me on it, we need to have a serious talk. I’m a cuddle queen, and the couch is my throne. Chewing? Nah, I’m not the destructive type. Toys are where I direct all my chewing energy. You don’t have to worry about me munching on shoes, furniture, or anything else that isn’t a toy. Barking? As far as I know, I’m a pretty quiet gal. You won’t hear me barking at every leaf that blows by like soooooome dogs I know. ;) Free roam of the house? Absolutely! Once I’ve settled in, you can trust me to roam freely. I’m a good girl—just let me know where the good snacks are hidden, and we’re all good! ;) Okay, let’s talk about my potential future siblings and housemates, because I know it’s important to figure out where I’ll fit in best! Other dogs? Uh, I’ll be real with you—I’m still working on my “doggie diplomacy” skills. I was kenneled with another dog at the shelter, but the other dogs in my foster home? Not so much my vibe. I tend to get a little reactive around them (I know, I know, not my best look). So, while I may not be the most social butterfly with my fellow pups, I’d say I’m better off as the only dog in the house. After all, who needs competition when I’m this fabulous? Cats? I’m not sure about the whole feline situation. I’m not currently hanging out with any cats, so I don’t know if I’m more "best friends forever" or "I’m just gonna stare at you" when it comes to them. But hey, I’m always open to new friends if they’re willing to be patient with me! Kids? I haven’t had any kiddos in my life just yet, so I can’t say whether I’ll be the ultimate playmate or more of the “I’ll watch you from a distance” type. But I think I’d be great with older, dog-savvy kids who know how to give a lady like me some space while we figure each other out. Alright, let’s get real for a sec. I’m looking for a forever home, not a “until” kind of situation. I’ve been there before, and trust me, it’s not the fun kind of ride. I was picked up as a stray and left unclaimed at the shelter, then I ended up on death row—yep, I almost lost everything because someone decided I wasn’t their forever. When I say I want to be with you, I mean I want to be your constant, your companion, your snuggle buddy for life. I’m not interested in being a temporary fix. I want to be the one you come home to every day, the one who’s by your side through thick and thin. I promise, if you make me your forever dog, I’ll make every day worth it. I’ll give you all my love, my goofy moments, and my loyal heart—because I’m in it for the long haul. I’m not looking for a pit stop; I’m looking for my home. So what happens next? Well, I would hope that you would submit an adoption app for me. You can find the app on the rescue's website, message them for it, or find it in the comments below. I am being fostered in ✨Norman, OK✨ so if you live outside the area..no worries. Just be prepared to pack for a road trip because this rescue doesn't send us on transports. So, both they and I will be expecting you to come pick me up. And what better way to start the bonding process than with a road trip?! With all my love, Koa
