Story

I got Barney as a puppy in May 2020. He sired a litter of puppies with my dalmatian in February 2021 and was fixed shortly after. He was taken to dog parks and was incredibly well-tempered while there. He has been attacked twice by other neighbors dogs since and is wary around other dogs. He has been very submissive to my dalmatian their whole lives and has only displayed aggression against her corrective behaviors twice. His recall is inconsistent, and when he is on a smelling adventure he can be very stubborn, but he is a sweet animal and loves to be curled up next to your feet whenever possible. He is housebroken and is hesitant to crate up, though he can be convinced with treats :) My work schedule keeps me away from the house for 4-5 hours at a time twice a day and he has shown resilience to that schedule without destroying things. He loves to play tag outside and has been around different humans his entire life, so he is well socialized to people.

RIP was adopted from humane society in sioux falls sd by my grandson grandson moved i have dog he’s a big baby very intelligent and high energy. he was boarded and professionally trained but im unable to meet his demands and cont training. he’s 1 1/2 old and im hoping he can find a family to give him attention he needs.

Story

I got Emily as a rehome in 2020, and she and my springer had a litter of eight puppies in February 2021. She was attacked by my parents' dog while pregnant and has been very defensive around other dogs since. She is very loving with my springer and with humans of all ages, but every other animal she encounters is a significant emotional event :) She would be wonderful as an only pet, especially with an owner that works from home or does not leave for long periods during the day. She is housebroken well and is not crate averse, though she has not been crated regularly except during recovery from spaying. She loves to cuddle constantly! She is also food motivated and has shown resource guarding tendencies, though she has never bitten anyone who reaches for a toy or her food dish.

Lucy is a tiny dog with a massive heart. Originally the runt of her litter and a rescue, she has spent the last year blossoming into a loyal, intuitive companion. She is a world-class snuggler who prefers to spend her nights burrowed under the blankets. Her "Superpower" is she is incredibly sensitive to her human’s needs. She has naturally learned to alert when blood pressure or blood sugar levels are off. While she is an ESA, her natural intuition is just to have someone check on her.She has her Boundaries. She is not child-friendly and needs an adult-only home where her space is respected. She is "all growl and bark" when meeting new people or dogs.She’s a protector! She needs a confident leader who can tell her, "I've got this!" She is sensitive about her paws, has some "delayed puppy" behaviors (occasional chewing), but she easily redirects and is responsive to commands. She would thrive as an only dog or with a very balanced, calm "pack"that can give her space to integrate.
