Story
WATCH CHELSEA'S VIDEO VIA YOUTUBE! Meet Chelsea 💕 Chelsea is a small pitbull mix with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for love. She was found abandoned at a local state park alongside her loyal buddy, Teddy. Despite the hardship she endured, Chelsea’s spirit has remained bright and full of hope. When she was rescued, Chelsea was unaltered and nursing injuries she sustained while trying to survive outdoors. Thanks to the caring team at Noah’s Arc, she has since been spayed and received the medical attention she needed to heal. Today, she’s healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. Chelsea is incredibly loving and social with people. She’s gentle, affectionate, and truly happiest when she’s right by your side—whether that’s lounging on the couch, going for a walk, or just keeping you company around the house. She bonds deeply with her humans and will be your most devoted shadow. While she adores people, Chelsea would do best as the only pet in the home. She needs a family where she can soak up all the love and attention as your one-and-only—no other dogs or cats, please. If you’re looking for a loyal, joyful companion who will greet you with a wagging tail and a heart full of gratitude every single day, Chelsea might just be your girl. 🐾✨

Story
Sirius may be the biggest of his six siblings, but it’s his heart that truly makes him stand out. This good-natured boy is as sweet as they come—content with the simplest joys in life. A gentle “atta boy” or a quick pat is all it takes to make his day complete. With his easygoing spirit and loving nature, Sirius is ready to share his big heart with a family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them. Could you be the one to make Sirius’ simple pleasures last a lifetime? All of our animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments encountered during veterinary examinations. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue our work. Sublime K9 in Jefferson City has a basic 4 week training program with owner and dog. It covers leash training and basic commands. This program would be available at no cost if Sirius' adopter is interested. An application does not obligate you to adopt. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will be in touch as soon as possible. Noah’s Arc is manned by volunteers, the shelter is not open to the public. Meet and greets for the animals are by appointment only.

She’s the kind of pup who greets the world with a wagging tail and an open heart, ready to soak up love and give it right back. Now thriving in a loving foster home, Cookie is already proving what a smart little star she is. She’s mastered “sit” and is doing wonderfully with sleeping in her crate, showing just how adaptable and willing she is to please. Her gentle spirit paired with her playful energy makes her the perfect blend of fun and calm—a puppy who’s just as happy romping around as she is settling in for a cozy nap.
