Story
Dixie is a sweet girl about six years old. We originally adopted her from the Sevier County Humane Society when she was about 4 months old. She has special needs. Around three years old she began having seizures. We have worked with the vet to try several different combinations of medicine but the medication is not stopping her seizures. She has them every couple of months and normally has between two and six seizures within a 72 hour period then she will be fine until next time. She currently takes two seizure medications and medication for her thyroid and an over the counter pill for liver support. We think the best home would be one without carpet. I would like to see how she would be with another dog in the house as I think that would help to keep her occupied and not left alone. It would be ideal to have a doggie door that goes out to a fenced yard so she could go out as needed. She has been around older children but not younger children.

Story
Mellow is a super sweet boy with a good bit of energy! He could run and play all day, with puppy naps in between of course! I found him tied up, malnourished and sick. He’s healthy as a horse now and eats like one too. He needs a home where he gets allot of love and plenty attention. This pretty will make someone a great forever fur baby! He is very playful with my other dogs but for some reason my German Shepherd just does NOT like him! That boo boo on his head in one of his pics is from a fight that he didn’t start. I will say he does puppy chew when he’s bored or is wanting more attention. He needs to be a mostly outdoor dog I think. A day in the life of Mellow right now is as follows…we get up and he goes out to potty and has breakfast, plays all day long and naps in between. I feed him again after work and leave dry food for him to snack on while I’m gone. He sleeps inside at night. I have 🐻‘s! He wants to be the center of attention and pouts when he’s not. He needs lotsa ❤️🐾!

Story
Hi, I am Copper. I’m a very sweet boy who comes when I hear my name, and I also know how to “go”. I’m completely potty trained. I’m also neutered. Unfortunately, kids make me very nervous. I really need a home without children, where I can rest, and live a peaceful little life. Please note: we do currently have him on Prozac. You will need to get him established at your vet if you choose to continue the medication. He needs a patient owner, and has a preference towards women. He really needs a fenced in yard or someone willing to take him outside only with supervision, and someone who wants to spend a lot of time with him. NO KIDS.

Story
Good with other dogs... Unknown! Good with other kids... Unknown! Good with other cats... Unknown! He is very energetic, protective, AMAZING guard dog, 99% crate trained, knows lots of basic commands, good with "MY" cat and "MY" 9 year old niece and the neighbors dog that he grew up around. He loves bath time, loves car rides, loves peanut butter in his Kong toys, loves walks and fetching, he hops around like a little baby Billy goat :) and loves to lay near you, he's neutered and microchipped so you will need to be willing to go to your vet to have ownership transferred to you, he's due for another rabies shot in a few months but currently up to date and I have paperwork on rabies and neutering. I have food, toys, bowls, a leash, a collar, and a few other things for him as well.

Story
We are having to rehome him due to health issues with my mother Colton is a very lovable almost 3 year old, he does suffer from separation anxiety and requires medication for it. He does know his commands ( sit, wait, leave it, come) we work with him several times a week to keep up. He has been around little kids and cats, he forgets just how big he is sometimes while playing.

Story
Remington is a fun loving 6mo Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. He is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle in the evenings, he loves bananas and ice cubes as treats, and he is very food motivated. He knows basic commands (e.g. sit, shake, etc) and he is a good guard dog that will alert you when there are strange sounds, someone's at the door, or there is unusual activity around the house. He's good with other dogs but has not been tested with cats and he loves his people. There are some issues we've noticed with him, however. He tends to guard his food, chew toys are a must to keep him busy, and his nose tends to get him in trouble when exploring (and can lead to him chewing on something he's not supposed to). He is still a puppy so he has a lot of puppy energy that he needs to get out during the day and due to this, he may not do well with small children. He needs a family that can spend a lot of time with him, to train him and reinforce the rules of the house.
