Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.June Carter June Carter has been with us since she was rescued as a tiny 5-week-old pup from the Wind River Reservation. She has grown into a gentle, cautious soul who bonds deeply with women and thrives when she feels safe and understood. June doesn’t trust men and will not do well in a household with them, but with the right woman she becomes affectionate, playful, and loyal. She adores snowy adventures, quiet outdoor play, and the company of other dogs and cats. Because she is shy and takes time to warm up, we’re looking for a local foster-to-adopt home where she can adjust at her own pace. June lives with hip dysplasia, which is managed with daily supplements, and she will need a securely fenced yard for her active spirit. She is crate-trained, eager to learn, and does best in calm, structured environments. June’s perfect match is a single female adopter who will give her patience, consistency, and the chance to blossom into the loving companion she truly is. Puffin was bottle-fed and raised with love alongside his sister Aurora. He’s grown into a confident, playful pup who is ready to take on the world with an amazing forever family. With his adorable markings and curious expression, Puffin resembles a small pit mix (breed unknown). He’s inquisitive, playful, and always ready to see what’s going on around him. Puffin loves: Playing with dogs of all sizes Hanging out with kitties Toys (especially if they squeak!) Car rides and new adventures Snacks and mealtime Snuggles and naps He is not fully potty trained yet but is litter trained and making great progress. He’s a typical happy puppy: energetic, affectionate, and ready to learn. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Orbit Orbit is a smart, loyal, and affectionate girl who loves her people and enjoys being part of the daily routine. She’s the perfect mix of playful energy and cozy companionship, happy to join you for a hike, a game of fetch, or to curl up beside you after a long day.   Orbit has great house manners, is fully crate-trained, and knows several commands including sit, down, shake, and come. She walks nicely on leash (especially when there are treats involved!) and has solid recall in calm, low-distraction areas. She’s also a big fan of chew bones, squeaky toys, and belly rubs.   This beautiful black-and-white girl thrives with structure and gentle guidance. She’s happiest in a calm home where her people are experienced and can help her continue to feel secure. Because she can be selective around other dogs and has not lived with cats, Orbit would likely do best as the only pet in the household. She’s not suited for a home with children, but will make a deeply devoted companion for an adult-only household that appreciates her affectionate, intelligent nature.   Orbit is a wonderful mix of fun, loyalty, and love. She’s looking for a person or couple who can offer her consistency, exercise, and lots of love. Once she bonds with you, she’s your loyal shadow, ready for every walk, road trip, or quiet evening on the couch.   If you’re looking for a smart, loving companion who will adore you endlessly, Orbit might be your perfect match. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yeti This young Heeler mix is bursting with curiosity, joy, and energy!  Yeti has a classic Heeler personality: playful, smart, people-oriented, and eager to please. He loves being near his humans, enjoys toys and treats, and is already picking up training quickly. While he’s still working on house training and leash skills, he’s crate-trained and responds well to structure, especially when treats are involved! He’s a great eater and handles a variety of foods with no issues. He’s doing well with the dogs in his foster home (including a blind pup!) and would thrive with another playful dog to keep him company. He’s a bit unsure around kids but calms down quickly with gentle energy. Cats are unknown. Yeti is still getting used to being touched, so he’ll need a patient adopter who can gently continue socialization and build trust. Yeti is not a calm, cuddly lapdog, he’s an active, social companion who needs regular interaction and stimulation. If you’re looking for a quiet pup who sleeps all day, he’s probably not your guy. But if you want a hilarious, high-energy sidekick to explore the world with, Yeti might just be the perfect match. He’s done great on car rides and is eager to be your ride-or-die adventure buddy. Yeti is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and in great health. He’s looking for a home that understands working breeds and is ready for the rewarding, fun challenge of raising a smart, energetic pup. ** Yeti came to us as a young puppy from a reservation in South Dakota. His breed mix is unknown.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   February 27, 2026, 4:34 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sully Sully is a 9-year-old Australian Shepherd he was born in 2016 and weighs aprox 45 pounds. While he may be considered a senior, Sully still has plenty of energy and loves being involved in daily life and is looking for a loving forever family. Sully is friendly with new people and has done well with visitors in the home. He forms strong bonds and prefers to be near his person whenever possible. In the evenings, he settles down nicely and enjoys cuddling close. He knows sit, lay down, shake, and leave it, walks well on leash, enjoys car rides, and is housetrained. He’s very food-motivated, which makes continued training both fun and rewarding. Sully enjoys daily walks, zooming around the yard, and spending time with his people. He can play a bit rough when excited, so a home with older kids may be the best fit. He has previously lived with a cat and enjoyed playing though proper introductions are necessary. It is also noted that he has done well with other dogs. He does like to bark at bicycles, motorcycles, trucks, and when people or dogs pass by the house. This is something that is being worked on and will benefit from continued consistency and patience. Sully absolutely loves food. He will counter surf and search for any accessible snacks if given the opportunity. His future family will need to be mindful about keeping counters and tables clear and limit Sully's access to the kitchen.  He is not a fan of being kenneled and has been known to escape. However, when left free in the home, he has not been destructive, aside from investigating for food. Sully  enjoys being brushed and with his medium-length double coat regular brushing  grooming is required to prevent matting.  Sully is a loving, loyal companion who thrives on connection. With structure, companionship, and a little kitchen awareness, he will make a wonderful addition to the right home.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.   February 27, 2026, 4:34 pm

For more details, visit:  Foster to Forever Program Copper Copper is the definition of an easygoing, smart, and loving companion. She’s a thoughtful pup who enjoys being close to her people and would happily curl up on the couch for a cozy afternoon. Unlike her brother, Copper prefers warmth and comfort and is perfectly content spending much of her day indoors. She’s incredibly bright and picks up on routines quickly; she understands where to go potty, responds well to commands she knows, and has a naturally gentle demeanor. Copper has lived with other dogs and absolutely loves cats, making her a great candidate for a multi-pet home. Copper has been around children and done well, especially with calm, respectful interactions. She would be a wonderful match for a family with well-mannered kids, an older adult, or just about anyone looking for a loyal, low-key companion who’s still playful but not overwhelming. Sweet, affectionate, and wonderfully intuitive, Copper is the kind of dog who quietly steals your heart and fits seamlessly into your life. (We estimated her date of birth is around November 7, 2025.
