Story
Hope to rehome my 11yr old cat, Kamoon, bc of my son's health issues. My 3yr old has asthma. We end up in the ER at least once every 2mths. His most recent allergy tests indicate a high sensitivity to cats & dust mites. Our cat is likely worsening his reactions and making his preventative meds less effective. Kamoon also needs social attention. With two kids under 4 and a job that requires office 5 days a week, I admit I'm unable give kamoon attention like I used to. That weighs on me. He loves being brushed Kamoon needs an experienced cat owner. He's a fun cat with the usual cat quirks. He WILL take a few weeks to get used to you, so prospective adopters have to be patient. Overall, he is affectionate and loves being around people. Kamoon also ironically can experience asthma during cold months, but it's very easily managed with a weekly dose of meds. Avg cost for Kamoon is ~$30-40/mth food, meds, litter. Serious inquiries only plz! Adoption fee will be donated to charity.

We aquired Buddy from Angell Memorial shelter 2 yrs. ago, he is about 6 0r 7 yrs. old, very quiet and polite. a very sweet cat. Needs a new home soon as we are moving and no pets are allowed, ( very sad). He sleeps during the day but is active at night. He will need space to get used to you but he is very affectionate. A very nice cat. I will include a covered litter box, food and a bed for him to sleep in also have toys.

Meow! I’m Simba! I’m a sweet 5-year-old female cat. I am a petite girl who enjoys getting pets from my humans. You’ll hear me purr loudly telling you how happy I am! I have a history living with other cats, but I could also be okay as the only cat in the home as long as my humans give me lots of love and attention! I am available through Kitty Connection in Medford.

MEET MATT! Matt was a known stray that a good person saw sleeping on his porch from time to time. Matt is still getting used to people bringing good things but he is making great progress. Matt seems to like the regular meals and gentle scratches on his head. We really don`t know much about this gorgeous hunk but if you have time and patience (experience with undersocialized cats is highly recommended) to help him realize that life with people can be fun, he awaits visitors in Boston. Matt is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Matt or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. Story
Lincoln - Available for Adoption Lincoln is a super sweet boy who unfortunately got dealt a bad hand earlier in life. He was known to have been eating at a feral cat feeding station for at least several months before he was trapped and brought to the vet. His paws were dirty, his long fur was matted and unkempt, and his poor ears bore numerous scars, no doubt from tussles with the other local tomcats - which meant it wasn't very surprising when he also tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). Shortly after his neuter and initial vet care, Lincoln became very sick. He had bad diarrhea and suddenly couldn't keep food down. His condition rapidly worsened and he required emergency veterinary care. Bloodwork revealed he was anemic and had a dangerously low platelet count. Further diagnostics were inconclusive, so a barrage of medications were prescribed in the hope that something would do the trick. Miraculously, Lincoln seems to have made a complete recovery! Follow up bloodwork showed his platelet count was still low, but nowhere near as bad as before. And, of course, he still has FIV, so he'll be more susceptible to other illnesses in the future. Being sick, however, never diminished Lincoln's spirit. He is a very affectionate and outgoing gentleman (he charmed the pants off everyone at the ER!) who is always eager for human interaction. He loves to be pet and even held. He would do well as a family pet; according to Lincoln, the math is simple: more humans = more attention!! Lincoln is doing amazing in his foster home. He is a super sweet guy. He loves to be your loyal companion and will follow you wherever you go. He spends most of his time asking for treats by doing a little vertical stretch, and lounging around the apartment. In his free time, he likes to chase balls around and purr at maximum volume. Lincoln is estimated to be three years old and a handsome domestic long hair polydactyl. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and negative for FeLV. Given his FIV+ status and his known medical history, his new family should be fully prepared for future veterinary expenses. If you are interested in meeting this super sweet boy, contact Boston's Forgotten Felines on Facebook or at catadoptions@bostonsforgottenfelines.org
