Story
MEET TIGGER! Tigger was originally adopted as a kitten from us. It sounds as if the homes he has lived in were not the right fit for this orange hunk. Tigger was a little scared and shy when he first arrived but after some gentle love, he opened up to pets and currently loves company. We think an adult-only (older, respectful children ok) home as an only pet is what Tigger seeks for his next chapter. If you have a quiet house and an inclination to give lots of love, Tigger would love to be the newest member of your family. TIgger is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Tigger or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.

Story
MEET GIZMO!Gizmo is looking for a quiet, low-traffic place for his next home. While he was said to be vocal and silly, this sensitive guy was not a fan of loud noises or lots of visitors, hiding when he got nervous. Gizmo can often be found chilling under his blankets but with just a quick lift and he is happy to get some gentle attention. Gizmo was said to nap near his person so, we think he would love a new environment with just one or two people (shy cat experience a huge plus) who are patient and loving to let this handsome guy blossom again. Gizmo is currently up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick preventative, has been neutered, microchipped, and examined by our vet team. For more information on Gizmo or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170 x604. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. Meet beautiful Stormy!Stormy was surrendered to us when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. In her former home she reportedly mostly ate and slept (sometimes in bed with the owner). At the shelter she has been livlier, accepting pets and rubbing against people for attention. She doesn`t, however, like to be held.Stormy is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and been seen by our vet team. For more information on Stormy or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. Story
Tina is a sweet, gentle and curious black cat -- and a bit goofy. She loves to hang out with the family and loves kids. She will occassionally cuddle on your lap but also likes to spend her time exploring. She has a big personality and although she loves time with her humans, Tina has started to struggle with behavior around other animals. After a cross country move she has developed anxiety toward her cat housemates that resulted in them being put into separate spaces and limits their freedom and interaction. Despite our love for her, we think Tina would thrive in a home where she can get as much attention from her owners as she deserves. While she has a relaxed demeanor her anxiety around other pets makes it challenging for her to coexist with other animals so we would not be willing to rehome her to a house with another pet. We have no timeline and are looking a great match where she can run around the house with a laser pointer and get zoomies and also lounge about snoozing.
