Story
Rhiannon (aka Rhi-Rhi aka Little Lion) is a special cat looking for a calm home to spend the rest of her days. She loves to give gentle face sniffs, get a good brushing, and of course receive some good chin and ear scratches. Her two absolute favorite things in the world are lounging in afternoon sunny spots and her crinkled paper ball. Rhiannon spends most of the day dozing, but as soon as she hears the rustle of her paper ball she is at the ready to play a very slow game of fetch. She truly carries one of her many crinkled balls with her everywhere she goes and back to her bed before snuggling up to nap again. She also loves to stand on her hind-legs at the window and chirp at the birds! While Rhiannon still has a playful side, she is arthritic and a bit wobbly when she moves around. She takes 3 medications daily mixed into wet food (no fuss). She would do best in a home without other pets or very young children. (She has lived with another cat successfully while in the shelter, but she has not befriended her foster’s cats.) She’s made great progress in her foster home, opening up to receiving pets and being brushed, but she can still startle easily. She would benefit from living with someone who can read cat body language well and provide her space when requested. She will do best in a calm home with children.over 10 years old. Yourtube video playing fetch: https://youtu.be/-paUD1sGXn8 Rhiannon is vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped.

Best Match: May be a good match for first-time adopters Could join a calm home with school-aged or older kids May be OK with other cats Needs to be indoor only Sunny is a loving and beautiful ladycat who would love to brighten your days! She and her daughter, Reign, are a bonded pair- so you get double the fun. Sunny takes daily medication for a manageable respiratory condition, and fortunately for all, she happily eats it in a treat! She will need a caring adopter who can monitor her health (in coordination with a veterinarian) and who can remind Sunny to take a breather in between play sessions to give her lungs some time to rest. Sunny is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is negative for FIV and FELV. Story
CASTRO VALLEY, CA:  Hello! We are Spicy and Buddy, two adorable bonded siblings looking for our forever home together. As you can see, we are both quite beautiful: Spicy (female) has dilute calico markings, while Buddy (male) has white fur with gray markings. We are also very affectionate and enjoy following our person around the house. Spicy is a little more curious and adventurous; she loves to be held and cuddled. Buddy is happier hanging out with you on the couch (like a real buddy, right?) than being held. We are still quite young — born in May 2025 — so we’re very energetic and love to play. We do great with the other cats and the dog in our foster home, but would probably do best in a home without children, as we still get skittish around loud noises or fast movements. We can be a little shy and nervous at first. Buddy is very food focused, which helps him get over his shyness, and Spicy just loves to love! We have both been fixed, microchipped, and are up to date on our shots. In a loving and patient home with people who give us the time we need to adjust, we are sure to blossom! All Angus & Friends cats are healthy, fixed, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. This is a Courtesy Post, and Spicy & Buddy are with Angus & Friends Cat Rescue in Castro Valley, California. For more information, please text (preferred) or call Deborah MacDonald at 510-909-4961 or contact her via email at angusnfriends@outlook.com. Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue organization in Alameda County, CA.  Visit their website at https://angusandfriendscatrescue.com/. Please Note: These cats have not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cats' status with the rescue group and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.January 7, 2026, 12:13 am

Meet Sweetie: A Sweet Heart Seeking a Quiet Home SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CA:  Hi there, I'm Sweetie! I'm a darling calico girl with a huge heart, just waiting to share my love. I might be a little shy when we first meet – new places and faces can be a bit much for a quiet girl like me. But with just a little patience and understanding, I promise to blossom into your most devoted furry friend! I get along wonderfully with other feline pals, and I'd be a perfect match for a calm home with older kiddos who appreciate a gentle soul. As for dogs, I haven't met any yet, so that's still a bit of a mystery! I'm a young lady, born around 2023, and I have been spayed and vaccinated. I'm ready to bring quiet joy and endless purrs to my forever family. Ready to Offer Sweetie a Peaceful Place to Land? I'm currently enjoying life in a private foster home in Lodi, California. To learn more about me or to arrange a meet-and-greet, please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001. You can also get a head start by filling out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67. Once approved, we can meet! Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with their rescuer and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.December 24, 2025, 10:32 pm

Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Cautiously inquisitive as he learns to be indoors again. About one year old the Vet said. Found in busy warehouse area, but was being fed occasionally. Likes just hanging out with you; looks like he was around people when a kitten. OK with older teens, OK with quiet, calm dogs. Sometimes aggressive around food. Litter box trained, & travels well in a carrier. Sometimes aggressive around food, but might calm down once in a forever home and neutered. Neutering is scheduled for january 20th. Up to date on vaccines. Stool and blood tests good. He is FIV positive. Might need more checkups per year due to FIV status. He enjoys being brushed out gently. He is a street rescue, but is not feral. He enjoys being brushed out gently. We would keep him if not for existing cat that won't tolerate him. He should not be outdoors as he could fight another cat and transmit the FIV.
