Born in 2022, Agnus and her sister KK are dealing with grief and uncertainty after losing their family - their beloved human mom passed away; their dad had to move far away and could only take three, much shyer siblings with him.   Agnus is very lovey, especially when foster mom is snuggling with the human infant, and she will follow you around in anticipation of pets and treats. Her gorgeous fluffy coat gives serious Maine Coon vibes and her stunning green eyes radiate beauty.     Agnus and KK have temporary digs with other family members for now, but would really like to land in quieter forever home where they get all the attention.    Agnus and KK prefer to be adopted together. If you are interested in providing them with a loving forever home, contact LouAnne at laflammemarcus@gmail.com. They are located in Contra Costa County, CA. March 7, 2026, 12:02 pm

Story
Want to meet? [Fill out the Application], then email it to the contact in this bio. Tia, born in 2021 (estimated), is a sweet, beautiful community cat-turned-foster cat. Tia was taken in when her rescuer noticed that her left eye appeared cloudy. The vet suspects this is due to an old injury, which has affected her left eye’s vision but does not seem to cause pain. Tia's ear was tipped, so she had previously been TNR-ed (Trap, Neuter, Return). Tia turned out to be super sweet, so her rescuer is now fostering her. Under her foster's care, Tia had blood work and a dental treatment with one tooth extracted. Tia is cuddly, gentle, affectionate, and gets along with cats. She needs time to warm up to new people, so she needs a patient adopter. She would be fine as a solo cat or in a home with a friendly resident cat.  If you are interested in providing Tia with a loving forever home, contact Nisha at nkchauhan@gmail.com. Tia is located in Contra Costa County, CA. March 7, 2026, 12:02 pm

Story
He was recently rescued from the shelter and looking for a loving forever home Kittens are best adopted in pairs to help with Single Kitten Syndrome. It is not a good idea to adopt a kitten in a house with a senior cat. Older cats typically don't like to "baby sit". Here are great links to help you transition with your new Cat/kitten. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/bringing-home-your-new-kitten https://www.meowfoundation.com/resources/new-cat/ Please give your new kitten/cat time to acclimate to your home. It’s called the rule of 3/3/3. The first 3 days your new pet will be unsettled and scared, unsure of what’s going on. About 3 weeks your new pet will start to feel at home and more confident. Within 3 months your new pet will feel safe and secure that he/she has finally found a final forever home. Smooth Transitions A new cat/kitten should be isolated in one room (a bathroom is best so he/she can’t hide under a bed or couch) for 7-10 days. This also allows the cats to become familiar with the sounds and scents of the house. If you have other cat(s) and/or dogs this allows for proper introductions for each other before meeting, which tends to smooth out the first encounter considerably. Make sure you spend lots of quality time with your new cat/kitten during the isolation period so that he/she associates the new smells and sounds of the new cat with positive attention. Eventually, you may introduce the new cat within a carrier to the other cat and judge the response. When the introduction response becomes neutral or calmly interested, a barrier-free meeting may be in order. Trust your read on the mood between the cats. We feed our kittens/cats Kirkland brand cat/kitten food.. Make sure to transition onto the food you will be feeding slowly to help from getting loose stool, continued diarrhea can cause dehydration and can become a medical emergency. PLEASE TAKE THE STEPS NEEDED TO REGISTER YOUR PET’S MICROCHIP We are a 100% volunteer run organization. We are always looking for amazing volunteers.
