Story
Lizzie has been the best kitty a girl could ask for. She is sweet, trainable, and stunningly beautiful. A little shy with new people but give her some time and Ive never known her not to warm up to someone. Her adorable chirps will melt your heart. I was hoping to temporarily house her with family during pregnancy and early baby days, but it wasnt feasible. I struggled with the decision because of how much I love her, but decided it was for the best that I rehome her to a new loving family. I know she would thrive in most situations. She would come with everything she needs that her new owners would want to take with her. I have a folder with her medical records and shots. She is highly food motivated and you can get her to do just about anything for a tube. But her gut is sensitive to fish-based treats and foods, so I recommend a chicken-based diet. String toys are the best to give her that cardio workout. And she will personally bathe your feet in adoration to thank you.

Story
Bela is a very sweet, but shy 4-year-old, and would need someone with patience, and willing to give her time to adjust. Leaping for a high-flying feather toy, and chasing after a laser light will keep this little girl busy. She would be fine as a single kitty, or with another cat that has a calm personality. Story
Calypso (Callie) — Gentle Soul, Loyal Friend, Love That Grows Hi, I’m Calypso — but my friends call me Callie. I’m a soft-hearted young lady who was rescued and grew up at Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, where I spent much of my kittenhood. Because of that, the world (and especially people) is still something I’m learning to trust — but my heart is huge, and my love runs deep once I feel safe. Animals are my comfort zone. From the moment I arrived at my foster home, I confidently greeted the resident cat and dog with polite head-butts and instant friendship. I truly thrive when I have another friendly, outgoing animal by my side — someone to show me the ropes, invite me to play, and curl up with for naps. I’ll happily pester my furry siblings for cuddles, playtime, and companionship, so I’m looking for a social, energetic cat or dog who enjoys being adored as much as I do. Humans take me a little longer — but I’m trying. With patience and consistency, I’ve learned that people can be safe too. I started allowing gentle pets in my favorite safe spots (especially my window hammock), and now I even sneak onto the bed at night for quiet snuggles. When you do pet me, I melt instantly — silky-soft fur, loud purrs, and all the love I’ve been saving up. I’ll need time, calm energy, and understanding to fully trust — but with a patient adopter and a confident furry friend by my side, I blossom more every day. The bond we build won’t be rushed… but it will be deep, meaningful, and incredibly special. Follow her foster adventures @whiskers_in_waiting on Instagram. Best fit: A loving home with a friendly, playful cat or dog, and a human who understands that the most rewarding bonds are sometimes the ones you earn. Please note: Calypso needs a playmate in her new homeIndoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1769673629&src=aap]
