ADOPT ME HERE (click on or copy and paste link into web browser): https://tinyurl.com/bdhxsfhdHi there! I'm Roxy, a young ball of energy who loves to play. Tug-of-war, fetch, you name it, I'm game! My days are filled with tail wags and zoomies. I do have a confession though, I can be a bit of a diva. I love all the attention on me, so I might do best as your one and only fur baby. But trust me, I have enough love and energy to keep you entertained all day. I'm just waiting for someone who can match my enthusiasm for life. So, why should you adopt me? Because I promise to fill your life with laughter, joy, and endless love. Are you ready for a lifetime of playdates and cuddles? I know I am! I am vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, had flea treatment applied, and sterilized. If you are interested in adopting me, come visit me at the shelter during visiting hours or you may copy and paste the link above into your web browser and fill out an adoption application. I cannot wait to meet you!

Story
Radar is a Dutch Shepherd mix, neutered male, shelter rescue, between 2 & 3 years old, 58 lbs, potty trained. 2022 Graduate of a 3-week Board & Train program; responds to these commands: Sit, Stay, Come, Off, No, Place, Crate, Heel, Free, Wait, Drop (drops ball while playing fetch). Radar is a healthy, intelligent, handsome, lovable, loyal, and playful dog. He loves his ball for playing fetch, loves to go for walks with his human, enjoys going to the dog park and also chewing on his peanut butter filled bone. He’s a blast to play with and a wonderful companion outside as well as inside the house. His comfy bedded crate is his safe space, and he’s perfectly content in his crate for a several hours a day or overnight. A fenced in yard would be perfect for him to run around and play with his human or another dog. Radar is current on all vaccines, vet visits, and preventive flea/heartworm treatments. Getting to know his goofy personality has made us laugh every day!

Story
Kennedy is a survivor. I rescued her in 2018 from a shelter in Rockport where she had endured 140 mph winds in an outdoor cage during Hurricane Harvey. That was in addition to whatever abuse she endured before she was taken to the shelter. But Kennedy is resilient. She became a treasured member of my pack of pups, and has been a faithful friend to me for these past 6 years. She has been instrumental in my own healing, and has joined me for countless solo hikes, trips to state parks, sunsets, and snuggle sessions. I hope that she can now find a new owner who can love her as much as I do. Kennedy is 6 years old + 75 lbs. She is spayed, and is fully up to date with vaccinations, heart worm prevention and monthly flea+tick meds. She loves to just lounge around the house and would do anything for a carrot, her favorite treat. She is great on a leash and is very well behaved. I think she would do best in either a one dog household or one with only big dogs.

Story
Status: not yet available Monroe has been on our radar for over 18 months. Originally, she showed up with her two buddies, and one of our volunteers began feeding them and building trust. We found and rescued her puppies in January 2023, but Monroe remained elusive. She recently resurfaced, and we were able to catch her soon after her latest litter was born! She will be available for adoption soon. Questions about this sweetheart? Story
Meet your cutest curious companion...Ravioli (or Ravi for short)! Ravioli (born March 4) is always up for an adventure: so many sights and smells that must be investigated! Her curiosity has no limits: all indoor nooks and crannies must pass the Ravioli smell test. While she is a confident and independent gal, she's also playful and affectionate. After a good romp around the yard with her siblings, she loves a cuddly nap. Ravioli would do great in a home with another dog, or she could be your one and only. She is a puppy who is experiencing many "firsts" (like her first ball), but what she'd really like to experience is her first forever home! Don't miss out on this loveable gal! Fill out an application to meet your best friend. Questions? Email placement@thestreetdogproject.org. Story
We adopted Maverick from a shelter when he was a puppy. We had wanted a second dog to play with our first dog, a micro-mini golden doodle. While the dogs tolerate each other, their play style and even demeanors are totally different, to the point where our golden doodle won’t play when Maverick is around. Maverick needs a larger dog to be his companion. He LOVES playing with other dogs, but sadly our first dog isn’t really into the way he plays. We also have two cats who have become stressed out by him. He loves the cats, but he barks at them “playing” with them, and they don’t like it. As we had all three of these other pets before Maverick, it’s just not fair to the others to be in a situation with another family member that they don’t feel happy with. We love him, he’s an absolute joy to have, but he belongs somewhere he can play with another young dog who can match his energy.
