Story
Hi I`m Cali, I also go by Cali girl. I was born in 2017. I love to leap through the backyard like a kangaroo chasing after my Kong. We go to the lake and play in the water and take long car rides. I`m a great snuggler so much so I have to be the only animal snuggling. I`m great with kids, love to take long walks and chew on my peanut butter bones. I need a forever home where I am the only one being spoiled. At the facility I enjoy my time in the yard and long walks. If you love my ears in pictures wait till you see them in person!!Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heartworm preventative, heartworm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.

Story
Looking for you ride-or-die soulmate-the kind who sticks by your side through every season of life? Kennedy might just be your girl. She&#39s a survivor with a heart of gold. In 2018, Kennedy was rescued from a shelter where she endured Hurricane Harvey in an outdoor cage, facing 140 mph winds. Whatever came before that storm, she&#39s never let it define her. Kennedy is resilient, wise, and full of love. For the past six years, she&#39s been more than a pet, she&#39s been a steady companion, a hiking partner, a sunset-watching sidekick, and a quiet comfort during hard days. She&#39s snuggled through tears, celebrated joyful moments, and made solo walks feel like shared adventures. Kennedy doesn&#39t just live in your home--she lives in your heart. Kennedy&#39s ideal home is peaceful and loving. She&#39s not a fan of chaos or high-energy dogs, and she&#39s grown less tolerant of small or bouncy pups. She&#39d thrive as your one-and-only or with other big dogs who respect her space and vibe. She is ready for her next chapter, a home where she can be someone&#39s best friend, protector, and partner in quiet joy. If you&#39re looking for a dog who truly sees you, Kennedy is waiting. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Kennedy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.November 26, 2025, 11:46 am

** Meet Kobe — Our Sweet Survivor **Kobe is a young, gentle soul with the heart of a hero. This lovable pup has already been through quite a journey — he came to us after breaking his leg, and though it’s healed, he’s been left with a little limp that only adds to his charm.Don’t worry, though — Kobe doesn’t let it slow him down one bit! He still enjoys his walks, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. What he loves most, though, is being close to people. Kobe is full of affection, gratitude, and the kind of unconditional love that makes every day brighter. He’s looking for a calm, caring home where he can finally settle in and be loved for the wonderful dog he is. In return, he’ll give you endless loyalty, soft snuggles, and a heart that’s already been tested — and proven to be pure gold.If you’re looking for a companion who’s brave, loving, and ready for his happily ever after, Kobe might just be the one. The adoption fee for this pet is $75. This cost includes spay/neuter, microchip, and all vaccines.November 6, 2025, 7:59 pm

Story
We believe Dottie to be a strong Dutch Shepherd mix with those ears! All of her 9 pups inherited those ears too. Her pups have already gone into rescue. Now it's Dottie's turn for a forever home. At first , Dottie was scared of everything and everyone, hiding in the dog house whenever her foster was present. She would even take her food dish into the dog house to hide to eat. She LOVES  other dogs! She now plays, polices the yard and goes in and out of the house. She crates very well and walks on a leash. She Is sweet, still a little shy, but loves to be petted and loved on. She needs slow introductions to new people because of her shyness, never has she shown any aggression. She will do great with a loving, active family. Please give Dottie her chance at a forever family. https://bit.ly/codys_adoption_application. ##2418677##

Story
Meet Saint – A True Survivor Ready for His Forever Home! Saint is a stunning Catahoula/Dutch Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his story. This handsome boy was rescued from a local shelter after being found all alone with a severely broken leg. He was in desperate need of medical care, and thanks to the quick action of Legacy Humane Society and the loving care of his foster family, Saint is now fully recovered and thriving! Now healed and full of life, Saint is ready for his next chapter—with a forever family who will love him as much as he’ll love them. He’s housebroken, crate trained, and fantastic with people and other dogs. (He hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but we’re happy to do so upon request.) Saint is an energetic, athletic pup who lives for playtime. He’s a fan of fetch, tug-of-war, and zoomies, so an active home (and maybe a playful canine sibling) would be perfect for this spirited guy. He plays hard and loves harder! &#226&#156&#148&#239&#184&#143 Vetting Info: • Neutered • Up to date on vaccinations • Microchipped • Heartworm negative DOB: 4/23/24 &#226&#154&#150&#239&#184&#143 Weight: 45 lbs  Adoption Fee: $125 If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a loyal, loving, and playful pup, Saint is waiting for you! Story
Meet Cricket – a gentle, graceful girl with a heart as sweet as her name! This tall and lean pup is likely a Shepherd mix with a dash of Greyhound or something equally elegant. At 45 pounds, Cricket is a lovely companion who enjoys the company of other polite, easygoing dogs and is learning all about the joys of home life. Cricket can be a bit nervous when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she absolutely blossoms—offering the sweetest hugs and soaking up affection like a pro. She’s currently working on potty training and gaining confidence each day in her foster home. She would thrive with a patient, understanding family willing to continue her training and help her build trust at her own pace. Older children who can respect her space will be the best match for her gentle nature. Cricket was dumped at a vet's office as a young pup, but her future is already looking brighter. She was born on February 13, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Fort Worth, Texas. Now she’s ready to find her forever family who will show her what love truly means. All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee for this pet is $200 plus a sponsored transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days. If you are interested in adopting, please complete our application:https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/57167/genericNote: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the animals that fall under our care. ##2470929##

Story
Teddy is a very intelligent, one-year-old Shephard/Lab mix who we had the privilege of adopting and fostering. When Teddy first came to us, he lacked basic skills, but over the past two months, he has blossomed into a loving companion through consistent training and care. Today, Teddy is crate trained, potty trained, neutered, up to date on all his shots, and in good health. He walks wonderfully on a leash. In just a short time, Teddy has learned everything from sitting on command to catching a ball and playing joyfully with other dogs at the dog park. One of our favorite moments was watching Teddy bravely splash into the water for the first time—his excitement was contagious and truly heartwarming. However, our one challenge is that Teddy struggles to get along with our other family dog. He would be a great fit in a home that doesn’t have existing pets. Despite this, Teddy is ready to fill your life with joy and loyalty. He loves to cuddle, play fetch, and follow you around.
