Beau is a beautiful 64 lb, 3-year old German Shepherd mix. He loves walks, fetch, zoomies in the backyard, car rides, doggie daycare, humans, and other dogs. No cats!!! Beau is house-trained, crate-trained, and leash-trained, although he still pulls a little on the leash and will need help with that. Beau was rescued from being an outside dog 24/7, regardless of the weather. His previous owners also declined heartworm preventative for Beau and he has tested positive as a result. We are paying for Beau’s heartworm treatment and are committed to fostering him until his forever home is found. Please know that if Beau were not cat-aggressive, we would be his forever home. He is an incredibly good boy! Sadly his behavior with our cats is not okay, and our attempts to train him otherwise have failed. We know there is a great (cat-free) home out there for Beau.
