Boone is both child-friendly and dog-friendly, making him a wonderful fit for a family or a multi-pet home. He’s potty trained and kennel trained, rides calmly in the car, and has excellent house manners. Boone is not possessive, doesn’t beg or steal people food, and isn’t a chewer—he truly respects his home. He loves to play fetch and enjoys time with his people, but he also knows how to relax and settle nicely. Boone is the kind of dog who’s easy to live with and a joy to have around. We believe Dottie to be a strong Dutch Shepherd mix with those ears! All of her 9 pups inherited those ears too. Her pups have already gone into rescue. Now it's Dottie's turn for a forever home. At first , Dottie was scared of everything and everyone, hiding in the dog house whenever her foster was present. She would even take her food dish into the dog house to hide to eat. She LOVES other dogs! She now plays, polices the yard and goes in and out of the house. She crates very well and walks on a leash. She Is sweet, still a little shy, but loves to be petted and loved on. She needs slow introductions to new people because of her shyness, never has she shown any aggression. Dog was tested with a larger high energy dog. The first few introductions she acknowledged the dog but wanted nothing to do with him. During the final test, she did let out a small quiet growl, but with no teeth baring, snarling, or lunging, just a warning that she had reached her limit.VIP RESCUE ONLY- Dog becomes over stimulated very quickly and has a low tolerance for high energy animals at this time. She came in with a larger submissive male . No overly aggressive behaviors displayed. She will be reassessed in a few days.
