With his stunning brindle coat and soulful eyes, Juno may look a little intimidating at first glance ~ but he’s truly a sweet, loving, and loyal boy once you get to know him! Juno bonds deeply with his people and loves being out and about with his handler. He would make an excellent adventure companion for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle. He’s affectionate, eager to be close to his person, and may even jump up for an enthusiastic “hug” when he’s excited to see you. Once Juno chooses his person, he’s all in. He’s a smart, eager-to-please dog who thrives with structure and consistency. Juno already knows sit, down, and his adorable “happy spin” at mealtime, and he would do great in a home that wants to continue working on training while providing both mental and physical outlets. Juno walks well on leash and enjoys getting out for walks and exploring. He would do best in a standalone home with a fully fenced yard (no apartments or condos) where he has space to decompress and move freely. When it comes to other dogs, Juno can do well with canine companions, especially with slow, thoughtful introductions. She was found in the middle of nowhere, in the bones, and with too much fear, she tried to bite us until she could understand that we were not going to hurt her, we just wanted to help her, and she got on her belly, letting me know that she trusted me. She is a really sweet, intelligent, loving dog, she has too much love to give, and she needs to receive even more. She is a very loyal dog, and tends to dance with her front paws when she gets excited. She gets excited when she goes for a walk, she likes to see new places and sometimes she is a little shy at first with strangers but she understands quickly when people don't want to hurt her. On the contrary when she knows that people are a threat to her or to you, she is very protective. She gets along well with very few male dogs, she is dominant and does not usually play with other dogs, but she gets along very well with adults and children, she would be ideal for a family with small children, she knows how to measure her strength, and she is not at all rude with babies.
