Hi! My name is Pawparazzi and I am available for adoption.I weigh 61 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home! Actually i`m overlly loving because I have shown some signs of seperation anxiety while in the shelter. Seperation Anxiety isn`t all that uncommon in dogs and is something that can be helped with proper training and patience.I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy. Actually, my breed is known for being very smart and needing a lot of stimulation. I would love for someone who wouldn`t mind doing training and fun tasks with me.I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!

Hi! My name is Vanecia and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on December 3, 2024.I weigh [number on scale] lbs and am considered a `large breed`dog.I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to hang out with you at home!I am full of energy and I love to play! I tend to calm down more when the people around me stay calm. I do best when I have lots of exercise and something to keep my mind busy.I am a puppy!! I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. Puppies require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. I am not potty trained or crate training yet and teaching me those skills will help tremendously on a road to success! If you and your family are ready to fall in love my awesome self, please check me out!!I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Meet sweet, gentle and smart, 5-month-old Holly. This delightful shepherd-husky mix beauty was one of six in a litter rescued in central Washington. Sadly, Holly is the last of the sibs to be adopted due to being diagnosed with a condition called Megaesophagus. While it does make her care a bit different, this condition is completely manageable and these pups live normal and healthy lives. Megaesophagus is managed with a special feeding regimen and a “Bailey” chair to help her sit up while eating. Holly is such an amazing dog and so loving that some extra time spent with her at mealtime is enjoyable too. Holly is doing super well in foster care and putting on weight. She currently weighs 24lbs but will be on the smaller side at 40-50lbs when full grown. Holly’s condition won’t stop her from living an otherwise normal, happy and active life. She is completely mobile, active and has no exercise or activity restrictions. Holly is super affectionate, loves people and other dogs and really digs her play toys. Her foster is working on basic commands and crate training and she is nearly house trained. She loves to be outside and enjoys the yard and is a great gardening helper! A good nap in her chair after a meal ranks pretty high on her list as well. Holly has not been introduced to cats yet so we don’t know about kitties for her. She has had some interactions with children at adoption events and is very sweet with them but would probably do best without toddlers. Older kids & teens who can understand her condition and won't try to feed her things she can't have would be best. Holly is currently in foster care in Wenatchee, but her rescue, Finding Finnegan, can arrange transport. Holly is spayed and vaccinated and ready for her forever home. For more information, an adoption application or meet and greet-please email Kate at kate@findingfinnegan.com. Please help us help Holly. She will be a terrific companion and make you proud and happy every day!

Story
Animal Profile: Buttercup is a 3-year-old, 55 lb spayed female "Texas Brown Dog" who joined us from Texas on 7/15/22 as an unsure adolescent. We have worked diligently with her in training to improve her confidence so she can be successful in her forever home. Foster Update: This energetic girl will do anything for a treat and very much wants to please her humans. She is building confidence; however, her anxious energy translates to reactivity at times. Off-leash she greets humans with excitement or indifference both in the house and the yard. She is doing well with the three large resident male dogs in the house after structured integration. She can play all day and has benefited from dog companions who can gently correct and/or join in her exuberance, as well as lead her in confident appropriate behaviors. She is potty trained and crate trained and often goes into her crate on her own to relax. She has demonstrated some significant prey drive toward the neighbors cat, so we think this girl will be best in a cat free home. While in foster care, Buttercup has received training from Bulletproof Balanced Training; her adopter will receive a private take-home training session. This girl is destined to be a wonderful loving member of her forever pack. Adopter Profile: Adult-only household Large breed experience preferred Secure fenced yard preferred Other dogs preferred (not required) Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $400 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA guidelines, negative heartworm test for dogs 6 months and older, and microchip. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization.  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  December 6, 2024, 11:33 am

Story
Ghost is a strikingly handsome young boy with a strong personality and a heart full of love to share! This confident pup knows what he wants, and he’ll fit perfectly into a home that appreciates his independence and zest for life. Ghost loves being around people and kids, and his playful spirit shines when he’s out and about with his human friends. Ghost does best with female dog companions and would thrive in a home without cats. His ideal family is one that loves to stay active and can match his adventurous energy. If you’re the kind of family that enjoys hiking, jogging, or exploring the outdoors, Ghost will be your loyal sidekick every step of the way. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning, and he’d love a family dedicated to continuing his training and mental enrichment. If you're ready to welcome a bold, spirited pup into your life, Ghost is ready to be your loyal, lifelong friend! To add Ghost to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2218341##

Story
I have had PJ since he was a 6 week old puppy and he is my beloved best friend. Finding a new home for him is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve ever had to do. As mellow as PJ is, he is unfortunately not trustworthy with kids and we can no longer have him in our home with one small child and another on the way. He is nearly 13 years old and in good health other than increasing weakness in his hind legs. He prefers to spend most of his day laying in whatever room his humans are in, or laying outside when there is sun. He still enjoys short neighborhood walks, but exercises only a small amount these days. He has so much character and love to give and really is a good, loyal boy who would be an excellent companion for someone looking for an elderly, low maintenance dog.
