Meet Klein💚 💙 Klein Update Account: @klein__55 1️⃣ Health Status * Spayed: Yes. * Other: Microchipped, and heartworm negative 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Klein was rescued from a slaughterhouse in Jeongeup along with four siblings when they were puppies. After spending a year at the Jeongeup Shelter, they were placed on the euthanasia list. Fortunately, all four siblings, including Klein, were rescued just in time. 3️⃣ Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with People: Is shy but simultaneously curious and affectionate. Her social skills have improved significantly. Now, tries to approach strangers first to sniff them! While she is warmer toward women, she remains cautious around adult men and may hide behind her guardian. Greets her family with a wagging tail and happy whimpers and loves sleeping near her female guardian. Showed little interest in young children when visiting dog cafes. * Interaction with Dogs: A true gentle soul. Approaches other dogs calmly with a wagging tail. Is more proactive and playful with close "dog friends," showing a desire to interact and play. * Interaction with Cats: Her excitement level regarding cats has decreased, but she may still try to chase them during walks. Sudden leash pulling may occur, so handlers should stay alert. * Separation Anxiety: It has improved, but she still shows symptoms (chewing plants, howling, barking) if the guardian’s outing is irregular. Even with a routine schedule, she may open doors inside the house or howl if she feels anxious. * Potty Training: Previously refused to go indoors but has recently started. If pads are laid out, she is about 90% successful. However, she strongly prefers outdoors and likes to mark during walks. * Grooming & Care: Tolerates baths and brushing well, even if she doesn't "love" them. Is still wary of the hairdryer and might try to run away. Nail clipping is a bit scarier for her, so it currently requires two people (one to hold, one to clip). Toothbrushing is being introduced slowly using soft gauze and finger brushes. * Walking Habits: Can be a "puller" when she sees a cat. While she sniffs stranger dogs, she doesn't linger and follows the guardian immediately when asked. As her confidence grows, she has become a bit stubborn—sitting or lying down to stare at the guardian when she wants to go a specific way. Her excitement levels usually drop after she relieves herself. * Motion Sickness: No car sickness. However, she is frightened by neon signs or bright lights at night and prefers to be held. * Biting/Aggression: None. Shows zero resource guarding or defensive/territorial aggression. * Barking: May howl or bark after the guardian leaves. Also lets out short, happy whimpers when the guardian returns or comes out of a room. * Likes: Treats and walks! Loves rolling in the grass. Enjoys chewing on hard objects (charging cables, plastic hangers, pencils, shoes) and loves lounging on the sofa when alone. Prefers warmth, so she enjoys wearing clothes and sleeps more soundly in them. * Dislikes: Strangers approaching suddenly, loud noises, and bright neon lights at night. Dislikes sitting on cold floors and is wary of cramped, dark spaces like crates or kennels. * Personality: Is a dog who is fearful of people but simultaneously leans on them deeply for support. Needs a patient family who can build trust over time. Thrives in a quiet, comfortable environment and is slowly learning to express her personality more every day.

Story
Princess is a very very loving dog that loves to go on walks and loves to cuddle and sleep with you🥹. We had to keep her for a while because she was given to us after she had a litter of puppies and is not spayed. Her Rabbies shot is the only one about up to date but is about to expire. Unfortunately princess is little sick and we are out of a job and can’t take care of her any longer 😭 it hurts me to have to let her go but we rather see her go with someone who is financially more available to take care of her and help her. She is weak on one of her back legs, has become vey skinny. We have also switched her food many times to see if that would help but the issue I guess is deeper than that. She also has a few bumps in the back that have developed within these past months and we just can’t have her suffer here anymore without being able to take her to the vet😭😭 If you find it in your heart to please take her we would really appreciate it. May God bless you everyday single day!!

Story
Meet Rex, a 1-year-old French Bulldog mix weighing around 40 pounds with a truly one-of-a-kind look that makes him stand out wherever he goes. Rex is house-trained, crate-trained, and has settled nicely into home life. He’s still new to the city and learning about all the sounds, movement, and excitement that come with it. Rex does well around other dogs, but with new people he can be a little shy, and some strangers may feel intimidating to him at first. Because of that, he’ll do best with patient adopters who understand the value of slower, respectful introductions. Once Rex trusts you, his affectionate and playful side shines through. He’s calm and happy to lounge around the apartment, but he also has a fun, energetic streak when it’s time to play. Rex is a special dog looking for someone who will give him the time he needs to feel secure and loved. Approved adopters interested in Rex can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. If you're not approved yet, apply today at hbrdogs.com!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Joy (GA)—a 6yearold (as of March 2026) French bulldog who lives up to her name so completely it should probably be trademarked. She was rescued from a shelter, dusted herself off, and immediately began her second career as a fulltime happiness ambassador. Joy is the kind of dog who greets every human like they’re the surprise guest at her birthday party. She’s friendly, funny, and has perfected the art of the “Frenchie wiggle”—a fullbody celebration that happens whenever she sees someone she likes (which is… everyone). She’s great with people, great with other dogs, and great at convincing you that maybe you do have time for one more walk, one more cuddle, or one more treat. Joy is basically a living reminder that life is better when you laugh, snort, and nap often. If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you, entertain you, and occasionally judge you with those big round eyes (but only lovingly), Joy is your girl. Apply to adopt Joy (GA) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. She’s ready to bring the joy—she just needs someone to bring her home. Joy's adoption fee is $450.Please be sure to reference this pet's name as Joy (GA) in case of duplicate names within the rescue. Thank you!RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. We can, however, provide transport support for pets in foster at a considerable distance from the adopter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2026, 11:33 am

Story
We love Charles very much, but after the passing of my husband we had to move to an apartment. Charlie is amazing with babies, and has been around a teen and an infant. He is a snuggler, does not bite and love to sleep in bed. He turns 4 June 12th. He is friendly and loves other dogs. My husband did keep records of the shots, so I believe he is up to date, but I do not have the records.
