Hi there, My name is Tucker and I am an adorable little 9 lb Pug mix puppy. My brother Parker and I were found abandoned on the side of a highway in an open field in Laredo Texas in the middle of a grueling summer heatwave with temps well over 100. We were terrified and in real danger of heatstroke and at just a few months old, we didn't know how to take care of each other. Thankfully someone saw us and brought us to a dog rescue, and now we are 4 months old, healthy and happy, playing with the other foster dogs and waiting our turn to find forever families. We are sweet and adorable boys, just a bit shy at first, but then 5 minutes later we are playful and trying to kiss you. Both of us interact very well with other dogs and are always excited to meet new doggy friends and play our favorite game of tug-o-war. We both love playing with doggy toys, but I like to carry mine around with me and I love to play in the water! We are snuggly and affectionate and very calm when held in your arms. We are both already house-trained and potty-pad trained, we have not tried walking with a leash yet, and we both do well in a doggy crate. We are officially on our way to Connecticut, making it easy for you to meet us. Hi, my name is Petunia, and I am a pretty little black Pug mix puppy almost 4 months old, I weigh 8 lbs and I was surrendered to a San Antonio Animal Shelter when my owner couldn't care for me. Fortunately, I’m adorable so 4 Little Paws Rescue snapped me right up and I have been living in a foster home ever since. I think saying I’m a happy girl is an understatement. When I meet people I wag so hard my butt is wiggling as I try to greet you with puppy kisses and so much joy you can't help but fall in love with me. I am a champion Zoomie runner in my foster home, an expert with doggy toys, I excel at my playtime abilities, and eventually, I poop out and take a nap. My foster mom says I’m hilarious, very silly and nothing hurts my feelings. I already know how to use a potty pad and I sleep nicely in a puppy playpen… until I see you in the morning and then I’m bouncing, and jumping, and so excited to see you, like you've been away for years! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Billy (TX) is a male Pug rescued in Texas. Our veterinary partner estimates that Billy is 4 years old at the time of intake in July 2023.  Billy is good with people and other dogs.  Billy has not had it easy, he's a little guy alone and ended up attacked by street dogs.  Unfortunately Billy was injured in the attack and lost both eyes but he's on the mend and doing fantastic.  He needs a special family who can help guide him and let him be the super pup we know he is.  He has his silly antics and is so well mannered. He is a quirky little pug with pug behaviors , can be a couch potato but also bring so much life to the house. He is absolutely so smart. He can find his way around so quickly. He has even mastered going upstairs. (We are not sure how to teach him to go down) He adjusts to any activity going on. He is wonderful with all!. Onyx is a 1-year-old and 25-pound pug / terrier mix.  Onyx has adjusted very well during her time in New York City. Onyx enjoys her time going on walks, playing with her toys and meeting new people. Onyx is currently in the process of working on her obedience training with her humans. During her  time with her foster family, She seems to be housetrained.  Onyx  is still working on her leash skills, and how not to get overzealous when she meets new people during her walk. Onyx is a lovable and nurturing pup pup. Her forever family will need to continue working with Onyx to reinforce and advance the progress she’s been making. Onyx has done well in her crate during the day but since she is still a puppy will need a family to reinforce boundaries. She  loves to be cozy with her foster family and can often be found with her favorite squishy toy. Onyx is looking for an active  family. She appreciates downtime and active moments! She would do great with an active family who can properly stimulate her especially when she has her puppy zoomies. We would recommend Onyx go to a home with older children. Vaccinated for rabies, DA2PP, and bordetella. Heartworm negative, neutered, and microchipped. Flea, tick, and heartworm prevention due 10/23.
