Meet Luna! Age: 3-4 Breed: French Bulldog/Chihuahua Size: 21 lbs Luna is a resilient, gentle girl who’s come a long way and is ready to find a calm, loving home to call her own. After a difficult start—including surviving a car accident that resulted in the loss of one eye and injuries to her front paws—Luna has shown incredible strength and determination. She has healed beautifully and continues to gain confidence every day. Luna can be shy at first and will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. But once she feels safe, her affectionate and loyal nature truly shines. She’ll become your quiet little shadow, happily following you from room to room and soaking up gentle pets. Luna is the perfect low-key companion. She loves lounging on the couch, relaxing while you read or watch TV, and quietly napping nearby while you work. She’s an ideal work-from-home buddy—calm, content, and wonderfully quiet (she rarely barks!). She’s still building confidence and can be sensitive to sudden noises, so she’ll thrive in a peaceful home environment. With time, patience, and consistency, she continues to make wonderful progress—and has even started to enjoy toys and show off her adorable zoomies! Luna’s Highlights: She is house-trained and not destructive when she is home alone. She is quiet and calm in the home and is very affectionate when she warms up. It takes her a little Tim to trust new people. She is low to moderate in energy.    Luna will do best with a patient adopter who is willing to let her adjust at her own pace. She will do best in a home without kids - she does not do well with the chaos that a busy household can bring. Luna is ok with other dogs but has some jealousy if she needs to share a home with them. For this reason she is best as an only dog.  A secure, fully fenced yard is required - invisible fencing is not sufficient.  Luna is truly a special dog with so much love to give. With a little patience and a lot of love, she will reward you with deep loyalty and companionship. Luna is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. She only has one eye but this does not affect her functioning. Her front leg is still healing but she is using it more and more.  Luna's adoption fee is $450 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Nova is a 35lb adult (5yr-ish) French bulldog mix. She is incredibly sweet and affectionate and would love to find a forever home. She is still working on her housetraining (great with #1, still working on #2). She walks perfectly on a leash and adores snuggles and couch naps. She loves to show her excitement by wagging her whole body! She came into the rescue with a number of health issues - like most Frenchies - and needs an adopter who understands the financial committments of owning this wonderful, but expensive breed. She had a corneal ulcer (being treated with eye medication), a UTI (treated), unaltered (we fixed her), and with heartworms (she's on the slow kill treatment). Despite all of that, her spirit is amazing - full of love and happiness!! Nova is located in Houston TX and will only be transported upon completed adoption. Her adoption fee is $400. Inquiries will not be responded to unless a completed application has been sent. You can fill out an application at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. Midora waited. While her sister was chosen and walked out of the shelter, Midora stayed behind overlooked, as the days turned into weeks. Six long weeks in a shelter, simply for not being picked. And then, her time ran out. Midora was placed on the euthanasia list not because she did anything wrong, but because she had been there too long. But Midoras story didnt end there. Church of Pug stepped in and said yes, giving this beautiful French Bulldog the second chance she had been quietly waiting for. Now safe in foster care, her true personality is finally shining through. Midora has that classic Frenchie playful energy, but shes just as happy curling up on the sofa to watch a game of basketball. With her adorable one ear that flips down, she has a look thats as unique as her story. After being left behind once, Midora deserves a home that will choose her every single day a place where shell never have to wonder if shes forgotten again. She waited once.She shouldnt have to wait again.

I was left abandoned at the shelter from a very questionable background. Unable to hold in any food my timeline was cut short at the shelter. Thank goodness Church of Pug said yes to giving me a chance. My foster mom took me to this dog doctor who did not think I had much time left. No one could explain what was happening with me. Luckily my foster mom and the dogtor did not give up on trying to find out what was causing me to be so sick. All I knew ... I was SO HUNGRY, but no matter how much I ate I could not gain weight, and my body was breaking down. Luckily, a special test gave everyone the answer ... I have something called Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) which I guess means my pancreas does not work so well UNLESS I have these awesome enzymes that help me absorb nutrients AND I am FINALLY feeling full and getting healthy and strong. Even with all of these things I can proudly say I am completely potty trained. No accidents for me. I like my space ... and I gravitate to the cat vs. the other dogs in the house. I sleep through the night and when I want to be pet or cuddle, I put up my paw and gently grab your hand or arm. I am still unsure about people ... I don't like to be picked up ... so when I want on the couch I growl when I go from floor to next to you ... but then I stop. If I am not sure what you are doing or your intentions, I will growl. It's my way to say I'm uncomfortable but I would never hurt anyone, I swear. I am really trying to behave like a dog who is loved, vs a dog who was hurt. I believe I can learn to trust again I just hope my forever home has the patience to help me get to that happy place. For my comfort a home with kids and wild hyper pups would not suit me. I prefer the calmer of the pack and the kitty cat. I know I am ready to find my forever home now that I'm all healthy and strong. Is that potentially you?

Meet Tiny! Dont let the name fool youthis little Frenchie comes with a big personality. Tiny is a young girl full of sass, wiggles, and classic French Bulldog attitude. She is funny, stubborn, and very opinionated. Tiny does have a bite history, and full transparency is important. In both bite incidents, Tiny was attempting to go after another dog, and a person was bitten while intervening. Because of this, Tiny must be kept completely separate from other dogs, both inside the home and in public settings. Tiny is not dog-friendly and does not do well with other dogs on walks or in shared environments. She must be the only dog in the household, and careful management around other dogs will always be required. She is also not suitable for a home with children, particularly small children, due to safety and liability concerns. Tiny is a strong-willed girl who likes to test boundaries and believes it is her job to walk you by grabbing the leash and confidently leading the way. She will need a very experienced, confident French Bulldog owner, or someone familiar with handling strong-willed breeds, who can provide clear structure, consistent boundaries, and responsible management. In the right home, with realistic expectations and experienced handling, Tiny has the potential to be a loyal, funny, and affectionate companion. If you are an experienced French Bulldog owner looking for a high-personality dog and are prepared to manage her needs appropriately, Tiny may be the right fit.
