She loves spending time outdoors, whether she's chasing squirrels or playing fetch with her stuffed animals-just don't expect her to fetch a ball; she has standards. Sophie enjoys her meals at her own pace and happily snacks on both her dog food and any fruits or veggies you share. When she's not exploring the yard, she's glued to your side. On the couch, in bed, or in the recliner, she loves being right on your hip and soaking up all the affection she can get. She's also a fantastic traveler. Her first choice is the driver's lap, of course, but she's content riding shotgun or sprawled out in the back seat like the royalty she is. Sophie is mostly house-broken-she's had a couple of poop accidents, but that may just be part of learning the new routine... or her opinion about the current weather. She plays well with other dogs, though her feelings about cats are still unknown. She's quiet overall and rarely barks unless someone arrives at the door. One thing to know: Sophie loves to jump. I am bonded with my sister, Paloma, who loves to keep me in line - and steal all my toys, so our ideal home will be both of us staying together. I love long snuggles on the couch, keeping watch outside through the windows, sunning myself on the patio, and letting you know, loudly, when I need something. I also enjoy going for walks, but only on my preferred timeline, and may just become a bowling ball and stop walking when I'm done. I have allergies and am the best boy at taking my chewable pill daily to keep me from itching too much or licking my paws. But my foster family is working on a better diet, and weekly baths to help get my skin feeling nice and itch-free.

Ludacris is a 3-year-old male French Bulldog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This compact powerhouse is overflowing with joy, enthusiasm, and love-so much that he can hardly contain himself when he sees you! His favorite place to be is anywhere right next to his person, and personal space is absolutely not on his list of priorities. Ludacris is house-trained and crate-trained, and he'll happily trot into his crate when asked. At bedtime, he may whine or bark for about 10 minutes after being covered, but then he settles in and sleeps soundly until morning. He already knows how to sit and is extremely food-motivated-just say the word treat and he's ready to work for it! He's a playful little guy who enjoys a good game of keep-away, even if fetch isn't really his thing. He's full of happy energy and is settling into his foster home with an upbeat, curious attitude. The resident cats, however, are still deciding how they feel about him-he's a bit enthusiastic for their liking, but with time and patience, they may warm up. He will probably do best in a home with no cats. Ludacris is new to rescue and will need a medical assessment before he's ready for adoption.
