Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Lucky is a young pup with an old soul that is incredibly mellow, affectionate and loyal. This precious Frenchie wants to be the center of your world and is always on the hunt for snuggles - he can often be found waiting patiently at the edge of the shower, resting his head on his foster mom's laptop, and sharing the pillow and blankets at bedtime. Lucky always wants to be close to his companion so he would prefer that you don't disappear from the house for work for long hours each day. When out in public, Lucky is a sweet, social butterfly that can be found cuddled up on the lap of a stranger or getting pets from a passerby. He is quick to win over the hearts of others. Lucky has learned a lot from the resident dog - a 5-year-old French Bulldog - including how to: Walk on a leash Run up and down stairs Use the dog door for potty breaks Play tug-of-war Chew a bone (Lucky's favorite pastime) Lucky has a condition called megaesophagus which requires him to take daily medicine and eat three smaller meals each day out of the cutest doggie high chair. This routine has helped him hold down all his food and start to gain some much-needed weight. A true best friend, Lucky is waiting to see if you are his match!

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Dear Future Family, My name is Luna Lou. I am 3 and new to Bulldog Haven. Here are the most important things you should know about me: 1. I only want to cuddle and be with you. It could be intermixed with the occasional short walk. And by short, I mean you'll be dragged to the spot I will do my business and immediately back to the front door. 2. I really do best in a calm environment. Don't tell my foster mom, but the other loud foster dog really scares me. I start shaking and refuse to go near him. But once he stops being annoying, I am fine again. 3. I'd probably be ok with older children who understand I do best with a quiet home. 4. I am ok with other dogs as long as they are non-reactive. If they ignore me, I'll ignore them. Also, we keep our toys and food separate, I'm cool with that set up. 5. I don't know how I'd be around cats, but seeing as how I like to bark at the squirrels that come up to the window, I'd probably chase the kitties. So I'm not sure it'd be an ideal situation. 6. My biggest issue is my allergy situation, which is being assessed. I am very itchy and it causes bigger problems. So while all the doctors are working at helping me try to keep that under control, I'll be in foster care. Once we have a good idea of how to manage the itchiness, I'll be adoptable. But should you think I'd be a good fit for your family, please put your application in! Sniff, sniff, woof! Luna

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html I'm Nala, a three-year-old energetic bundle of French Bulldog! I'm just getting settled in, but my foster mom already calls me "never stops Nala". I love to play and would prefer to play with another dog if you have one! I'm going to need a fenced yard, or be well supervised and leashed, because I LOVE to zoom and zoom and sometimes zoom too far. I'm good with all people I meet, and I have lived with kids, so we know I'm just here to give everyone the love. I'm not food or treat motivated but give me a toy and I will bring it back to you for non-stop fetch play. I'm going to have my palette worked on but then I'll be ready to zoom-a-zoom to my new family and into their hearts.

Beau is a sweet, 9 ½ year old French bulldog. He loves snuggles, food and his people. Currently hates being left alone in a crate and dislikes rain. So far, he is kid friendly, dog friendly and just wants a place to lay next to someone (or on someone). He enjoys barking at squirrels and laying down to chew on a toy from time to time.

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Hi folks! I'm Oliver! I am such a sweet loving boy who just needs to be with my peeps! I love going bye-bye in the car, on walkies, and stroller rides! I have hip dysplasia and at my age, we feel no stairs would be best! I'm a big boy weighing in at close to 40#! We are working on reducing some of my chunkiness to help my body condition. Right now, my foster says my skin has lots of issues so we will be testing foods and reducing inflammation. I love sleeping with my human! They are welcome to share my bed. I am a good boy that lets you know when I need to go outside or if I'm not happy with my current situation. I am vocal with little whines but easily shift into a happy boy! I love sitting by the open door to sniff all the things! I'm good with other laidback dogs and would probably be okay with cats and kids. I am excited to be moving into my future and looking for my forever home.

Story
This is Richie, or lovingly known to his foster parents as "Chanchito (little piglet in Spanish), or "Chito for short because of his enthusiastic appetite and his precious little snorts. Our sweet, chunky French/English Bulldog puppy, who is bursting at the seams with his large-as-life personality! It is IMPOSSIBLE to keep a straight face around Richie with his hysterical antics and facial expressions. Richie is a rough & tumble playmate, with a great play style for other dogs or humans, who don't mind his endearing clumsiness! Luckily for you, he comes with an '"OFF switch'', as he is no match for a good scratch below the ears. He has fallen asleep on a walk at the park, he has even fallen asleep in the bath! (By the way, he appreciates a low-fan, low-heat body blow dry after a bath!) He loves a good nap, snuggle, photo shoot or car ride, you'll always have him happily snoring by your side. If you are looking for an absolutely one-of-a-kind dog with the softest hair and most adorable run, who will keep you grateful, laughing and "aww'ing, please consider being his new parents, we think he's out of this world! * Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Little Dog Rescue. Our dogs come from a variety of sources and backgrounds. They are all in need of adopters that have patience, an understanding of where these dogs have come from, and that there will be an adjustment time when they transition into their forever home. This can include learning basic commands, walking on leash and potty training. Some dogs will pick up on your routine and expectations faster than others. Potty accidents will happen. We find that positive reinforcement, consistency, and routine from the adopter achieves the best results. We are a small, all volunteers team and give 100% of our efforts towards doing right by these pups. We are often juggling many responsibilities at the same time and do our very best to process inquiries and applications in a timely manner. We do prioritize inquiries that have a submitted application on file through the Little Dog Rescue website. We do our best to accurately assign breed designations, however we are unable to guarantee 100% accuracy. Sometimes we only have the dogs appearance to go on. Our adoption fees are thoughtfully considered. The adoption fee is not a purchase price for the dog. It is a fee that is designed to support the overall work of our rescue. Highly desirable dogs and puppies are intentionally listed with a higher adoption fee. This is done to help offset the enormous medical expenses we incur when taking in older pups and special needs medical dogs whose adoption fees do not come close to covering their expenses. In addition, the vast majority of our dogs are brought in from out of state and incur transport fees along with their medical and acquisition costs. We ask that you take all of these things into consideration, and we look forward to finding a great match for your family.

Story
Charlie Mistermeanor is a French Bulldog/ShihTzu mix. DOB 10/2/2022. He is a sweet boy who is compact but heavy like a tank (25ish lbs) and is unintentionally a little too rough for my littlest 5yr old 8lbs & 11lbs chihuahuas Rex & Ruex. Charlie loves to snuggle but also can have a lot of energy especially around other dogs. It might be best he be an only dog for awhile. He has a funny personality and will probably bootie bump you for some back scratches, just above the tail is his favorite. He loves kids but again needs to learn his size and to be gentle. He doesn’t bite but does love to nibble and lick fingers and sometimes toes too 🤣 Charlie is not neutered, as I try to wait till they are at least 2 years old. we tried for over a year but the adjustment period never went away and I realize I love Charlie but a different environment would be better for him, my 3 other dogs and myself. He has the cutest face and the oddest coat I have ever seen on a dog. 🙏

Story
Meet Brown🩵 Brown, a survivor rescued as a young pup from a slaughterhouse, found refuge at Korean City Shelter. A year later, he and his siblings, initially on the euthanasia list, were saved at Adogs. *Social Relationships: Enjoys good camaraderie with his dog friends at the center, especially active play with his peer, Calvin. *Stranger Interaction: Barks at strangers initially but quickly calms down if given time to smell and assess. *Affection Style: Still getting used to active touching, prefers approaching slowly, and enjoys gentle interaction. 😊 *Ideal Home: Would thrive in a multi-dog family, especially with a friend like Calvin. However, he'd also do well as the only dog, receiving lots of individual love!

Hello, we got our puppy in Japan in 2018. He was born in October 30, 2017. Short walks are recommended because he does run out of breath. We had him get the surgery to expand his nostrils and help with breathing. All the essentials will be provided.

These pups are in Woodinville, Washington too!

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Hello! My name is Bully. I was found as a stray and sprung from the shelter by BHNW. Everyone who has come into contact with me gets the giggles at how sweet, affectionate and goofy I am. My one floppy ear gives me great character. My underbite makes me endearing. And my constant wiggles to gain attention and then my sploot (or roll over) as I cannot help myself. SCRATCHES ARE EVERYTHING! I'm really smart and know some basic commands but would do well with a family who can spend some time with obedience training. I want love so much that I become a walking bowling ball very easily. I do seem to have some significant allergy issues. When I came into BHNW, I was a giant scab. Medicated baths have helped a ton but I am constantly itchy and need to figure out why. So far, I seem to be good with non-reactive dogs. But I did get into a scuffle over a highly prized toy that we both wanted. I think I would be good for a family with older children who are dog savvy. I haven't been at all bothered by the squirrels by the door or the birds that land near the window, so if you happen to have a cat that isn't bothered by dogs, I think I'd be ok with that too. If you are looking for a playful, sweet, Velcro dog, I am it! Make sure you get your application in!

To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Hi, I'm Elle and I'm 6 years and weigh 50 lbs. I love to snuggle on your lap and lay around most of my days, but I will follow you wherever you go. Even to the bathroom just to make sure you are safe. I will also let you know when there are dangerous sounds so you can say I'm pretty much a good security guard, but my foster mama says I'm quiet most of the time. I'm good with older kids, and love to play and wrestle with them. I'm also good with most cats. I do have some allergies that require me to take medication, but for the most part I'm a healthy girl. I love going for car rides and especially love those pup cups. I love to lay in the sun and bask in the heat from a good fireplace. I like to go for walks, just not long ones. If you think I would be a great fit for your family, I would love to find my forever home.

Story
To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit http://www.bulldoghavennw.org/10_apply.html Hi, my name is Emerald and I'm 47 lbs. of cuddly sweetness once I know I can trust you. I'm a 4-year-old EB mix and my foster mom calls me "sweet girl". I'm crate trained but would rather spend my time with my humans rather than be in my crate too often. I'm completely potty trained and haven't had an accident yet. However, if I get really stressed out, such as a trip to the doggy Dr, I stress poo and need to go RIGHT NOW, but you'll know I'm stressed before it happens!! I spent a lot of time in my crate in my last home, so I haven't been socialized and am learning how to interact with strangers and other animals. I also wasn't leash trained, but my foster mom got me a snazzy new harness and we go on walks every day. I am still very scared and reactive to all of the new sounds and people/animals in the world, so my foster mom has been teaching me how to "leave it and sit." When I get overwhelmed while we're out and about, this prompts me to sit down for a treat (she keeps a stash in her pocket) and this distracts me from what spooked me. I'm very sensitive to "stranger danger" and fear strangers, so I need slow introductions in a safe space, but the people I've met so far have won me over eventually (treats are a good icebreaker). However, I do get very protective of my home and human, so when someone comes to the door, I let them know I'm the great protector of this home. I have some skin issues that my foster mom is helping me with, but they won't stop me from becoming adoptable! I'm very good at bath time and play statue until I'm told it's ok to jump out. As is normal for a bulldog, I will need a limited diet and regular maintenance to keep my skin allergies under control, other than that, I'm recently spayed and healthy! I am so eager to please you once I know I can trust you, and I get hurt feelings and pout when my foster mom scolds me. I love to wiggle my butt and cuddle, I LOVE to play with my toys and chew my bones, and I like to stick my nose into everything my foster mom is doing in case she needs my assistance. I will do best in a child-free home as I get stressed out with the little ones. I will do best as the only animal and queen of my castle so hopefully you don't have any dogs or cats. My foster mom has gotten quite smitten with me; she tells me how smart I am and calls me "silly girl" when I get frisky with my toys and toss them around then chase them. I can entertain myself with my toys and then I'm ready for a nice long nap, preferably on the couch with you, or in my bed on the floor near you. Because I still need work with socialization and acclimating to the scary busy world around me, I would do best with someone that has dog experience and can be VERY patient with me while I blossom and continually learn to trust humans. My foster mom says I have LOTS of potential and l have sooooo much love to give to the right home. So, if you think you could be patient with me and my needs and love me unconditionally, I would be sooooo happy to meet you and find my Furever best human and home. I think I could be your best little cuddle buddy if you take a chance on me, and I'll show you how well I can toss my own toys then chase after them!
