Story
Ruby may have arrived with a little mysterywhile her records say she's 1 year old, the veterinarian who examined her believes she's likely closer to 23 years old. Either way, one thing is certain: she's 100% adorable. This sweet girl loves zooming around the house with the other pugs in her foster home, but when playtime is over, she's all about cuddles and snuggling up with her favorite people. Ruby is heading in for her spay tomorrow, and once she arrives in Washington this Sunday, she'll be essentially medically ready for her forever home, with only a few routine vaccine boosters left that won't delay her adoption. If you're looking for the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, Ruby is ready to steal your heart! Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Story
Welcome Kiwi to CCPAL Rescue. Kiwi is a 10-week-old Pug mixed pup. She is a beautiful fawn color with a black muzzle. She has an underbite and a shortened nose. She is a smallest-sized pup in the liter. She should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Kiwi is the most outgoing and friendly in the group. She always comes when you call and wants to be picked up. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever home. We would love pug people for these pups, as they know the breed most. They will be spayed and neutered and ready for their forever home soon. Someone that doesn’t work all day every day is the best candidate for a puppy. These pups would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older as these pups are small and very trusting of everyone. Kiwi is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Teddy is a 2-year-old sweetheart who's currently making his way to Washington and getting ready for his next big adventure. This handsome guy is as easygoing as they come. Teddy has a calm, laid-back personality and is happiest when he's close to his people. If there's room on the couch, you can count on Teddy to be right there beside you, soaking up all the snuggles he can get. He's the kind of companion who is content simply being with you, whether you're watching a movie, reading a book, or enjoying a quiet afternoon at home. Teddy will be neutered this week and, after he's medically cleared, he'll be ready to pack his bags for his forever home. If you've been dreaming of a sweet, affectionate pug who loves cuddles just as much as you do, Teddy might be the perfect match. Story
Welcome Nutz to CCPAL Rescue. Nutz is a 3-year-old Chug (Chihuahua/Pug). He weighs about 12 pounds and is full grown and a nice weight. This dog came from the hoarder or overabundance of dog situation. He is a quieter dog and likes to be held. He is definitely a lap companion. He is playful with other dogs and has the sturdy body of the Pug. He would love to be a companion for a person that is retired, partially retired or maybe someone with a household that is more quiet and wants a dog with a lower energy to join in. He would be ok with a smaller condo size yard. He is learning leash manners and getting used to commotion of the Rescue. He hasn’t experienced a lot of different things so he isn’t sure yet but he is really really nice. He is not a big shedding dog. He is fine with nail trims and baths and will make some lucky family a great companion. I would say anyone moderately active would be fine for this dog. He bonds deeply and he warms up with affection nicely. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is getting vaccinations, neutered and he will be ready for his forever home soon. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Story
Welcome Johnny to CCPAL Rescue. Johnny is a 10-week-old Pug mix puppy. He is a beautiful tan color with a black muzzle. He has an underbite and a shortened nose. He is a bigger-sized boy pup in the liter. He should be 20 or 25 pounds full grown is our best estimate. He is a laid-back boy and was easy to take photos with. They all have curly tails and the round adorable heads. Johnny is one of two boys in the litter. He was the last puppy to come out of his kennel as he was enjoying his nap. He was very workable and stood stil and sat willingly on the table for the photo shoot. They are all affectionate and cuddly. They are very playful with their siblings. They go on a wee pad but are not fully potty trained. They are good in a crate and are getting regular attention and love at the Rescue. We don’t have the privilege of adopting out many pugs. We are excited to find the pug pups their forever homes. We would prefer pug people for these pups, as they know the breed best. Story
Pip is a 3-month-old adorable Pug mix with a personality that's just as sweet as his little face. While most puppies are bouncing off the walls, Pip is surprisingly calm for his age. He's friendly, gentle, and loves everyone he meets, getting along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. He's still too young to be neutered, so he'll be adopted with a neuter addendum to ensure it's completed when he's old enough. If you're looking for a happy, easygoing puppy to grow up with, Pip is ready to steal your heart. Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!
