Hi, my name is Chachita. I am a calm, sleepy, and very loving older dog who enjoys being close to my person. I like to follow you around the house, nap in cozy spots, and play a little before bedtime. I would love a home where I am treated like the queen of the house, with space to walk comfortably, and someone who is patient and understands that I am a senior dog.When I was found, I was on the sidewalk, covered in flies, surrounded by bigger dogs trying to mount me. I had a skin fungus and severe conjunctivitis, and I could barely see. I am much better now, but I still need daily eye cleaning and drops, as well as dental care and soft food to help with my mouth.I am gentle, grateful, and ready to spend my golden years with someone who will love me every day.This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Edward is about 12.5 years old, and has been my buddy for the past 10 years. He’s a total love bug, enjoys cuddling, walks with time to smell the neighborhood and say hi to other pups. He does have anxious tendencies, so I’m hoping to find a home for him with caretakers who will be able to spend a lot of time with him. He loves a routine! Ed is an older guy, but he has healthy energy levels for his age and has a lot of life to live. He warms up to people very quickly, but tends to be shy/indifferent around other animals. He is currently living with a cat and has lived with other dogs in the past.
