Lucy is a happy, confident girl who loves being part of the action and brings a wonderful mix of brains, heart, and energy wherever she goes. Lucy is great with other dogs and enjoys having a few favorite buddies to run, wrestle, and zoom around with. She’d love a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs, chase the occasional squirrel (purely for sport) and then cool off with a well-earned nap on the couch. Apartment living isn’t her style; this outdoor-loving girl is happiest when she has space to explore and play. She’s smart, eager and a quick learner who takes training to heart. Lucy is crate trained, house trained, leash trained and fully vetted. She loves toys and treats and will happily claim your lap once the day winds down. Lucy is friendly and does well meeting new people, greeting strangers with curiosity and confidence. Her intuitive, affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion who’s always tuned in to her humans. Lucy's signature look includes one ear up and one ear down, a perfect balance of goofy charm and working-dog determination. She would thrive in an active home that enjoys outdoor time, enrichment and quality couch snuggles. A second dog would be a bonus, but she could also shine as a solo pup with plenty of attention and exercise. Lucy is fully vetted, microchipped, on monthly prevention and ready for her next adventure- hopefully with you! We only use trusted transport partners to deliver our dogs North to their families.

Story
You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email cox_ann@bellsouth.net for an application

Story
Cute Leala is a 6-7 month old, mixed breed puppy that can't wait to meet you! She is sweet, loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and is loads of fun. She has all of the makings of a perfect BDF (Best Dog Friend). 💜 She's super smart! 💜 She'll be excited to see you every time you come home...in a personal pep squad kind of way, not a Stage Five Clinger kind of way! 💜 She is eager to please and will be a pleasure to train. 💜 She loves other dogs so she would do well at obedience class, doggie daycare, or the park. 💜She will help you make new friends...if you're into that sort of thing...everyone is going to want to meet her when you're out for a walk! If Leala seems like a good fit for you, we'd sure love to hear from you and tell you more about this great pup! Leala is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.
