Lucy is great with other dogs and enjoys having a few favorite buddies to run, wrestle, and zoom around with. She’d love a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs, chase the occasional squirrel (purely for sport) and then cool off with a well-earned nap on the couch. Apartment living isn’t her style; this outdoor-loving girl is happiest when she has space to explore and play. She’s smart, eager and a quick learner who takes training to heart. Lucy is crate trained, house trained, leash trained and fully vetted. She loves toys and treats and will happily claim your lap once the day winds down. Lucy is friendly and does well meeting new people, greeting strangers with curiosity and confidence. Her intuitive, affectionate nature makes her a wonderful companion who’s always tuned in to her humans. Lucy's signature look includes one ear up and one ear down, a perfect balance of goofy charm and working-dog determination. She would thrive in an active home that enjoys outdoor time, enrichment and quality couch snuggles. A second dog would be a bonus, but she could also shine as a solo pup with plenty of attention and exercise. You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email cox_ann@bellsouth.net for an application
