Story
This is "Jasper", a 9 month old German Shepherd. He is 1 of 4 puppies Connecticut born on August 6, 2024. Jasper came to us with his 2 brothers and 1 sister, "Jessie", "Woody" and "Maple". We are happy to say that Jessie, Woody and Maple have all been adopted! We are sad to say that Jasper is now all by himself without his 2 brothers and his sister. Jasper is now waiting and hoping he will be as lucky as his brothers and sister to find a good home and a fun and loving family to be with. Jasper is very cute. Oh did he love playing with his brothers and sister! They would run and run playing and chasing each other. They sure had a lot of fun and they were fun to watch! We are looking for Jasper's owner to be someone who does not work full time; a couple of hours a day would be okay. Jasper needs some help and someone's patience with "potty training". That is why we would like someone to be home with Jasper. Also, in Jasper's new home, children must be 10 years old or older. You must own your own home. No condos. No apartments. Jasper got neutered and his shots are up to date. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference in your own name. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Jasper is $300.00 which includes his neutering and shots. No credit cards. If you are interested in Jasper, please email us at feline55keeper@gmail.com. You can meet Jasper on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. His tail will be wagging waiting for you! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!

Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?

Story
Meet Maya, a beautiful 10 month old spayed female GSD mix, weighing about 70 lbs! This stunning girl has one blue eye and one brown eye.  Maya is a great dog! She is very playful. She is good with other dogs, and did well with a cat that she met (didn’t pay much attention to it), however she has not been formally cat tested. She is a smart girl who knows some basic commands. She is sure to steal your heart! She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this beauty today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2375838##

Story
Diesel is such a sweet boy, but my family dynamics have changed and we cannot give him the attention and time he needs. Diesel loves cuddling and is very affectionate. We've had him since he was about 4 months old. He is a pure GS with his breed of record certificate. He is an active dog, and sometimes thinks he's still a puppy. He is completely housebroken with no accidents since he was a pup, this could be due to having him on a schedule. He is smart! His high intelligence should not go to waste, keep him engaged or he will find unproductive ways to keep himself occupied. This has been a 2 year battle of going back and fourth with rehoming him as he is the perfect dog, he just deserves a family to give him the time and attention we can no longer provide for him. DOB: April of 2018/ Weight 68lbs
