Story
Meet Coco! Coco is approximately 5 months old, and she is a mutt! She was left at the shelter door. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, and other young playful dogs. She has not been exposed to cats. Her foster says, `Coco is very friendly and energetic. She loves other dogs and loves to run and play. She has a ball that releases treats and she figured it out immediately. She is a puppy and likes to do puppy things like chew and jump but is very easily redirected. She is crate trained and will let you know when she needs out of the crate to go potty. She has a few accidents inside when out of crate but we are working on it. She likes car rides but will try to climb in your lap when driving to get a better view! She likes to explore her surroundings and will circle the house a lot when out of crate but does settle down after she checks everything out. She is very sweet and loves to give kisses. I think she is going to make a great dog for whomever is lucky enough to adopt her!`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Leominster, MA by appointment. Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Latte! Latte is approximately 1.5 years old, and she is a mutt! She was left at the shelter door with her puppy Coco. In her foster home, she is doing great with her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, and other young playful dogs. She has not been exposed to cats.No apartments, please! She is high energy and needs an active family. Her foster says, `She is the best little dog! I love spending time with her. She loves to be petted and will give you a paw if you stop petting too soon. She has not had any accidents inside or in her crate. She loves toys and does have some chewing habits. You may not want to leave her out of crate when no one is watching until she gets past the chewing stage. The vet says she is right around 1 year old. She loves to run and is very fast! She has a slim build and can squeeze out of tight spaces so you have to watch her close if not on leash. She is a little scared of new people so you have to sit down with her at first and let her come to you. Once she realizes you are not going to hurt her she will be your best friend! She deserves to have the best home with someone that will give her all of the love they have to give!`She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on May 9th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
MEET BARRY! - I am in foster, please contact the Dedham shelter to learn more!*I need to go home to a confident, social dog!*Barry is a silly and sweet mixed breed puppy and who was surrendered along with his 9 siblings. He is a curious and smart puppy who enjoys going on walks and playing with his 2 canine foster siblings. His foster says he aims to please and enjoys being around his people. He is mostly potty trained, sleeps through the night in a crate, and is even learning to walk on leash. Because he was not exposed to new people or places as a young puppy, he can be fearful in new environments. Luckily, he has made amazing progress in a foster home with another social dog to help teach her how to adjust to life in a traditional home. He would do best in a home in a low traffic area with patient adopters who are willing to pursue professional, force-free training and continue showing her patience and compassion. Barry is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. For more information on Barry or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston, please call us at 617-426-9170. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY. However, we will be unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.once he has had time to warm up to new people he shows off just how smart he is, and already knows how to sit and is potty trained! .
